@madspunk  Thanks for asking.  Yes, I finally tracked it down and it should be arriving today - just in time for my appointment Sunday!
 @beachbunnyxo123  Regarding trying "naturally," my RE described sex as having one of two purposes: recreation and procreation.  When I think of our goal of procreation, I'll take it however I can get it!  ;-)

I hope everyone is ready for a great weekend!  AFM, I go for my 13-day check-up on Sunday and hopefully IUI Monday morning or afternoon.

@beachbunnyxo123 yay for you being on track!  Honestly, I’m doubting an IUI is gonna work. I mean, how many IF grads from here had it worked for?  I do want to do them so I don’t ever look back and wonder but I’m not holding out hope. (Ok that a lie, but you know what I mean)

@rallykat14 I'm so sorry this happened. How are you feeling today? "They have no clue what happened"?? That's unacceptable. I mean, isn't it? Shouldn't they know what happened? I'm sorry. We don't know each other, but I feel mad for you and just caught up with the thread and feel like an ass for posting away and not commenting on this news to support you. That was a lot of 'and'.

@madspunk my understanding is there is a plateau in success with IUI after 3. That being said we could not afford IVF so we stuck with it for 6 rounds... if IVF had been possible we would likely have gone that route

Sorry I disappeared, guys. My Beta was negative. I really, really appreciate the time you ladies took to respond to me, and I have been thinking about all that you've said.
@beachbunnyxo123 Though it sucks you can relate, it's good to hear I'm not the only one who has had trouble letting go. I am rooting for you and your embie so much.
@50Wife I remember that post from you when you found out you were going on BC. Even when you know you're about to do IVF, you keep up that hope that you'll be a SS until the last minute. It's definitely a mind fuck. **TW** And a total mind fuck when you've been able to get pregnant before too! I think about you guys with secondary IF sometimes and how much of a twist that puts into all the IF treatments. The question "Do I really need to put my body through all this?" is definitely what I've been thinking. But then I think about you guys, and if one of you asked me that question after the IUIs you've done and the time you've waited, I know I'd be thinking of your hearts and your emotions too. Maybe on cycle 53 you'd get pregnant, but maybe not. I'm seeing now that IUIs and stress and waiting can be putting your body through a shit ton too. **end TW** I'm sorry that you weren't the SS, but I hope the upcoming FET works. Thanks for making me feel less alone.
@kristokekerooni Oh man - you've made me tear up twice this week. But thank you! Thanks for sharing your story. At this point, I am feeling the same way about IUI. It's really hard to think about gearing up and going through it again when my chances don't seem very high any more. I want my best chance.

DH and I spent a lot of time thinking about it this weekend, and we have our game plan. I really thought IUI would work, and it didn't, and I need some time to grieve that. I also want to make sure I'm mentally and physically the most prepared I can be so hopefully I can only do one ER and hopefully it works! So we're going to take a break while I get prepared. I'm thinking at least 2 months, but the late spring/summer gets busy for travel at work and personally, so the break might end up being much longer, depending on how things work out. Waiting sucks. I don't like this idea of waiting. But I got AF today, and I know I'm not ready to jump into IVF right now at the same time that I know that IVF is the next step for us. So for now, I'm preparing and I'm cheerleading you ladies.

@madspunk I’m sorry about the negative beta. I too just had my 3rd IUI fail. I feel like we are in the same boat. We are also moving onto IVF but not until this summer so I can get healthier, but also be in the right mind set. I’m just not ready to jump in right now.  We are taking off the next few months from treatment and are looking at July for IVF. Although I’m sad this last IUI didn’t work, I’m glad we have a plan moving forward.
