Hey Ladies, what are you up to this weekend? 

I am am trying to get ready for a baby shower, but I am moving at a snails pace. I hope the food is at least good. We are also going to the local church Carnival. I am looking forward to this, so I can eat junk. Nothing like Carnival food.

It’s cold and rainy, so I don’t think we’ll do much this weekend. Just watch a bunch of Muppet movies and hope DS just assumes we’re watching Sesame Street even when there is no Elmo.

Happy weekend! DS decided that 5am was time to wake up, sigh. I’m already tired. But it started snowing (Yay Missouri!) so we might go out and play for a bit later this afternoon.

Also going through DS’s old clothes to figure out what we can use for this one and what we’ll donate. My girlfriend just found out she’s pregnant so if she’s having a boy she’s getting a ton of hand me downs!

Going to DS1’s karate practice, then to the coffee shop next door for a muffin and this afternoon seeing Rent with my mom and sister in box seats! Hello Saturday!

DS has a birthday party to go to and then we’re supposed to get a few inches of snow tonight (it was just 70 on Wednesday ugh).

Tomorrow we may go paint some pottery.

We aren’t up to a whole lot.  We have a birthday party for DD1s dance friend tomorrow and it’s supposed to snow tonight.

Im in the weirdest mood to spring clean and get rid of all the clutter in our house.  We have a long way to go until spring but I’m trying to take advantage of my productive drive....today.

DH had surgery yesterday and is off his feet. I'm so tired already from running around and it's not even 11. I have a feeling my vacation week is not going to be as relaxing as I thought.

Babies-R-Us has their big trade-in event where you bring an old/expired baby item and get a 25% coupon, so we're bringing a few things in!

We’re getting new carpet Wednesday so we have to clean out the junk/catch-all bedroom. Ughhhh

DD2 was up half of the night last night from teething and we have a rainy 3 day weekend to try to figure out how to entertain 2 kids inside all day.  Ugh.  I do think I'm going to pop into best buy at some point because I need a new cell phone but that's really my only plan.

After being 74 and sunny on Thursday afternoon, and going to sleep with the windows open to the sounds of rain and frogs outside, it's currently 33 and snowing like mad. Stop being bipolar, Mother Nature. Pick one.  

Not doing much this weekend, husband is fixing my headlights on my truck and I have to grocery shop for my grandmother, plus get a few things for us. Which she purposefully puts shit on her grocery list that necessitates a Walmart trip (things only Walmart has), forcing me to go there, even though she won't ever go or get out of the car, because in her mind somehow Walmart has better food. Blargh.

I found a BNWT Graco Aire3 travel system on a BST site for $80. They're normally $250ish new. I'm so excited!! Was hoping to wait a bit longer so we didn't have to store it for so long, but couldn't pass up the deal! I think I'll just get one of the skateboard/seat attachments for DS. He refuses to ride in the stroller anyways (and, like most 2yo's, moves at a snail's pace), so hopefully he will ride on the stroller if he can stand. Anyone have experience with these?

@mrsbubbles-2 At least it’s already 40 and that darn snow is melting!! Bygones. 

We are cleaning. Massive cleaning. Getting rid of toys and clothes. I’m mostly sitting and directing but my kids are my little slaves and we need to get rid of some of the mess before we move into new rooms.

Morning ladies!! DS was up early, so we went to breakfast, Trader Joe’s and Costco this morning! Now we are home and he will nap soon. I think I’m going to go to a few antique shops and boutiques in our downtown while he naps and see if I can find anything cool. 
We have no set plans this weekend and that’s fine by me! I enjoy the relaxing weekends where we can do whatever we want! Even if that means we do a whole lot of nothing

I finally had a good crazy pregnancy dream last night. SO was being a butthead. It went on forever. I was packing up to leave him. I woke up legitimately angry with him. And had to text him and tell him he was “on my list” for being a butthead in my dream. Lol.

Getting our new above range microwave today (woohoo) and we are going out to dinner tonight, but no other big plans. I have a bunch of work for grad school to do today - start a paper that's due in 2 weeks and do some other lame assignments tomorrow. I can't wait til May when this degree is over!

Jealous of you ladies with motivation to clean/ organize. Not happening over here. We’re moving in like 3 1/2 months so I’m fully prepared to let this place go to shit (besides the basics: laundry, kitchen, bathroom) until I’m forced to pack up and start over in the new place. At which point I’m sure nesting will kick in (or so I’m hoping).

Went to dim sum this morning to celebrate Chinese New Years, with DH's family. Just relaxing the rest of the weekend, with no real plans other than cleaning the house, and catching up on sleep. We are possibly getting a few inches of snow tonight, which I am so excited for

DS’s Cub Scout pack had Pinewood Derby this morning. DH is the cubmaster, so we spent 2-3 hrs setting up last night and about 5 hrs there today. DH had to leave right from Pinewood to take a call-in at work. I just got home with DS and bribed him with Netflix to let me sleep. I’m so tired I can barely function. 

Tomorrow DS has a birthday party, and we’re getting my parents dog for a week while they’re on vacation. Hopefully I can accomplish something tomorrow because I’m done for the day today.

I’ll just AW my weekend so far:

flew to florida last night and didn’t get into bed until 2am. DS slept until & and we went out for brunch with the in laws after we announced my pregnancy. DS wore the shirt for an hour before we finally had to tell them to read it carefully and then they copped on! 
DHs aunt decided to post pics on FB with the caption “new family member arriving in August” and I didn’t realise until other SIL texted me like 40 mins later. I made her delete it obviously but I wanted to kill her I was PISSED!!!!!! Like she knew I had literally only just told the ILs, so why would she think she could announce it to the rest of the world. A different aunt did this to us the last time. I guess i should have learned my lesson! 

And so all morning I’ve been letting people know via text like my friends in Ireland whom I won’t see face to face for a couple of months. The good news is I don’t think any of my friends saw it but it fucking pisses me off! 

Anyway we are in Florida until midweek and the weather is fab and we’re havjng a lovely time!! Everyone is thrilled and so are we!

We drove up to my dads in Tacoma yesterday. Tried to get both boys to sleep in a room together and that did not go well. We are all so tired. But we went to the mt to go sledding and that was pretty fun. Now it’s back to his house to relax and my step mom is making some homemade soup for us all.

Took my geriatric beagle to the vet this morning. He's having recurring ear infections that stink and make me gag. At least my nausea isn't as bad since second trimester.  I then went skating for a couple of hours.  Now DH and I are running errands including getting the car washed and buying hypoallergenic dog food. I'm about ready for some food and a nap.

We are going to see Coco in the cheap theater tonight. E has been throwing the worst tantrums today because she is getting in her second row of molars.

Just catching up now, sorry @ecwk that she just decided to announce to the world, I would have been super pissed! Today I went to a new prenatal yoga class with a friend of mine and then we went to lunch afterwards, it was great having some kid free time. My DH is sick so you all know how that is so now that DD is asleep I am hanging out watching Dawson’s creek lol. Tomorrow I have to work in the early morning so I’m hoping the roads aren’t too bad since it’s been snowing.

I would be so pissed @ecwk! Hopefully it didn't ruin the surprise for too many. 

My parents came in for the weekend so they've been hanging out with DS, currently they're at the grocery store with him. I've had a terrible migraine all day so it's much appreciated. Yesterday I had a burst of nesting energy where I mopped and vacuumed the floors, then cleaned all of the stainless steel appliances, including the trash can I was exhausted afterward, but I didn't quite realize how many toddler fingerprints had accumulated over everything. Tomorrow morning is DS's birthday party, so I'm working through the migraine and getting the last few things done. Tonight I need to get balloons blown up and decorate the cake, then I think I'm done.

We were supposed to have a date night tonight but spring has started and my allergies have gone mad so I cancelled the babysitter and assigned my husband to toddler duty almost all day long.  I really wanted to see The Post.  Other than that we have nothing planned.

Sorry about the aunt spilling the beans.  Luckily none of my friends are friends with my family/extended family, lol, but still I'd be irked.

I spent hours putting up some old kid clothes for sale in some fb bst groups... what doesn’t sell I’m taking to consign. 
Then some laundry. It was a blah day lol.

tonoght our neighbors had a Chinese New Year party though!so fun! Tons of awesome food, kids loved the treats from China, and the dragon running through the house then fireworks in the snow! 

Its snowung so do the kids will burn off lots of energy outside tomorrow!

Ha! The troll thread was shut down due to a "shift in topic." We were totally talking about the image she posted, so I'm not sure how they justified that one. Oh well. I'm sure another will be along shortly.

The BGs only have a finite list of reasons for shutting down a thread. There’s that reason, unwelcoming tone and duplicate thread...not sure if there are others. Sometimes they make zero sense as a reason but I’m assuming they don’t want to list “lame troll trolling” asa reason

@dirtanddiamonds she did apologise later after the fact and I think she was sincere but like WHY?!?!? Anyway I don’t think there was any harm done but JFC if I ever get pregnant again I won’t tell a single aunt of DH until the kid has graduated high school!

@ecwk I totally get you being pissed. I’d be pissed, too. I was just curious if she was sorry about her slip or whatnot. Funny enough, SO’s aunties are the big gossips in his family. The second they learn something, even gossip, everyone knows. I avoid them like the plague.

Why is it every time I respond to a troll thread, it’s shut down. This has happened a few times now. I say something.  Admin comes riding in like the Calvary. 

Maybe the FBI agent who watches my phone is also a Bump Admin part time. Food for thought.
