I’m feeling like crap. Nausea 24/7 and it’s getting worse. I also get sick every night after dinner. Considering calling my doctor for medicine instead of waiting until my appointment next week. Is that bad? I’m a teacher and I’m so afraid I’m going to throw up in front of my students.
I woke up in a horrible mood today. I am cranky, bloated, exhausted, have a sinus infection, GI issues, exhausted, and... exhausted. However, I'm now officially 2 weeks from seeing this bean on U/S and I'm excited.
Starting to get frustrated with my symptoms. The nausea comes and goes and I just want it to stay so I can feel like everything is ok. I was really nauseous Saturday then not really at all yesterday. This morning I am a little nauseous, but not really. With DD the nausea was constant and that was my only successful pregnancy, so I just want everything to look like that one. My first appointment is Friday so hopefully everything looks ok then.
My biggest ones are sore nipples and cramping. I get some nausea, but it isn't extreme, more just slight discomfort. I get tired easily and I can't seem to find a comfortable temperature. I also sleep like crap.
Nausea comes and goes but it appears sore boobs are here to stay for a while. a little extra fatigue and some cramping. For some reason my joints, especially my left elbow, have been acting up.

I am also 6weeks but I am having it pretty easy. I had read and heard that being nauseated is a good sign so that worries me a little. Having more exhaustion and not sure if I slept wrong but one boob hurts. Still bloated but I don't feel as bloated or I am just used to it. I guess I am bloated but it isn't as uncomfortable.
I'm getting the nausea in much bigger and stronger waves now (which is settling my nerves! Yay nausea!). I also have indigestion, I'm exhausted, sore nipples still, and add me to the no sleep club.
@sammierose464 - I'm still struggling to sleep, but I've been taking doxylamine and it's been helping. BUT the temperature thing! It makes it so hard to fall asleep because I cannot find the right temperature to get comfortable and MH feels like he's a million degrees.

I'm 5 weeks and I have the MOST sore boobs. I am also having a hard time sleeping some nights, but other nights I sleep for like 12 hours straight! Lots of gas and bloating still....

Mostly I am having some bloating and sore boobs, irritable, tired but cant sleep. I have had some dizziness and mild nauseas but no nausea since Friday which worries me but fingers crossed the other symptoms are a good sign.
ugh...so nauseous and SO tired! but thankful for this outlet because I hate to complain when I know it is all for a good cause.
also, I am going to bed really early but having such (bizarre) vivid dreams that I get up feeling like I watched movies all night and am still exhausted! Last night Lionel Richie was the service tech from the utility company because we were having issues at work, and he was really making me mad...
@sammierose464 and @pebbledam Yes! I'm either burning up for freezing. I keep waking up so over heated and DH is freezing. He has an extra blanket on while I'm kicking off my one.
I have intermittent nausea, but it's mild still. Also, ravenously hungry at times which is weird. Doing the freezing to sweating thing which it sounds like a lot of us have. I will be 5 weeks on Wednesday, and i feel like i am sitting here waiting for things to finally happen. Also, the "backne" is real. My skin is SO gross.
I think nausea is finally hitting me - I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. Same with the either super hot or freezing thing, which is so weird for me, because I'm usually just freezing. Bloat also just set in too, but so far, everything has been mild.
Random cravings have officially started today. While feeling like I'm going to hurl I've craved bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel from McDonald's, cheddar cheese and ritz crackers, and super cold ice water.
I am 6 weeks 2 days. I have had severe nausea and had to be treated for dehydration last week. They put my on diclegis, so that takes the edge off and now I can sleep. I’ve been really dizzy today. Irritable since saturday. I have an appointment tomorrow to make sure everything is okay with the baby and further evaluate my subchorionic hemorrhage.
I think I spoke too soon. I stayed home from work to wait out some of the icy roads. Laid down for a bit because I slept so bad and woke up miserable. I'm nauseous and cramping so bad (just like dull achy sore period cramps). It worries me so much, but I know it's normal. I know eating will help but nothing sounds good, especially meat.
Five weeks and the sore nipples are coming and going, but literally nothing else aside from waking up early and falling asleep fast. H says I'm still bloated, but I feel like that could also be because I'm doing things like contemplating having a fun sized Almond Joy with breakfast.
@acciocoffee I feel you with not loving the inconsistency!
edit: oh but apparently I am 'glow'ing? (I am not. All I've gotten is some stupid breakouts.) Walked into my hairdresser on Saturday morning and he knew instantaneously. Spidey senses.
I just wanted to throw this out there for anyone worrying about lack of symptoms or those coming and going, I know it’s hard not to worry, but there is absolutely nothing correlating having more symptoms and having a successful pregnancy. Every pregnancy is different from the next/last, so you could have tons of symptoms one time, and nothing the next (or vice versa). When I was pregnant with DS a few years ago, I had almost zero symptoms other than being super tired, and he’s a perfectly healthy almost 2 year old now! I say, if you’re not feeling nauseous or having other bad symptoms, enjoy it and try to relax!
@pumpkinpancake I'm trying so hard to listen to this advice.
With DD I was so sick all day every day. *TW* When I miscarried in the fall, I was somewhat sick, but not nearly as sick as with DD. But, I was also doing a lot to manage the nausea every day so I don't actually know how bad it would have been. This pregnancy feels a lot like the one I lost, but I'm trying to focus on the symptoms I do have now that I didn't have last time. Like good cramping, stretching feelings, bloating, sore boobs etc. The bloating seems like the most promising to me. I don't know why.
I had my first indigestion or heartburn over the weekend. I'm not even sure what it was, since that's not something I've ever experienced before. Fortunately just once.
Mostly bloating, cramping, and gas for me. Of course, I did make mac & cheese yesterday, so I don't think that helped. But I wanted it...
And super fierce fatigue. I haven't done anything besides sit on the couch and go through emails this morning, but I feel like it's time for a nap.
5w6d today. Nausea hit yesterday. Cramps, sour stomach, exhausted.... and then I’ll feel 100% better for a couple hours, then it’ll hit again. Just ate a bag of goldfish for lunch. My coworkers proBably know something’s up. Ha
I get nausea in waves, on and off cramping but nothing crazy. Sore boobs and bloat are here to stay. I feel so bloated and puffy but my clothes look normal so I guess that’s good, nobody can tell yet! Last night I had to get up at 4 am to pee...and then snack. At times I feel great with tons of energy and then other times I’m so so tired and queasy. It varies a lot by the day and hour.
I am starting to feel a little more relaxed about things and am (so far) keeping the anxiety from taking over. But I still can’t wait for the ultrasound to see and hear the little one!
It's so crazy how each pregnancy is different. This time around I have no breast/nipple pain which I had with my 2 kids and I had very very mild nausea this morning that lasted probably less than 15-30 minutes. I feel fine mostly, but starting yesterday I had allergy-like symptoms. I read pregnancy rhinitis can start this early due to hormonal changes and maybe it's this? Either that or it's a cold, but I'm sneezing and blowing my nose like it's allergies and it's freezing outside!
@awknyc I have been having cold-like symptoms too the past few days! Sneezing and blowing my nose all the time! At first I thought I was actually getting a cold, but I don’t really feel sick otherwise, so I decided it was probably just the pregnancy.
Anyone else had trouble with their arms falling asleep at night? I'm a side sleeper, and in the last week or so I'm ending up on my back because my arms fall asleep painfully. I'm nervous for how 2nd tri will go when we aren't supposed to sleep on our backs...
I woke up feeling completely normal this morning which kinda freaked me out. As the day has gone on though sore boobs made a return along with fatigue. DH is cooking dinner now and the smell is kinda overwhelming.
I’m only about 5 weeks (had a late ovulation but not sure exactly when) and I have been feeling pretty normal. Had some mild cramping last week, vivid dreams, and tired but that could be just the teacher mom of toddler in me. For those of you wanting to feel symptoms I am right there with you. TW* I miscarried in August and I didn’t have any symptoms. So now that is all I think about as I impatiently wait to feel nauseous!!
@sammierose464 you aren't allowed to sleep on your back after 2nd trimester?!? Why? FTM here! I'm a back sleeper tho! That's not going to go over well!

From what I've been reading, being on your back in any form 2nd trimester and on can restrict blood flow to your pelvic area.

Exhaustion... awful bloating... totally overemotional about everything. Also, I can't seem to stomach water, which is annoying.

ugh I’m so paranoid about getting the dangerous flu. I feel achy and exhausted and I can’t tell if it’s MS or the flu

Same symptoms as last week, unfortunately.
Small rant: wtf is pregnancy glow and why did everyone lie to us about it? Doesn’t exist.
Good luck, ladies! I’m rooting for each and every one of you.
