I had a facial this morning and man did she go to town. I needed it but I will not be leaving the house the rest of the day now hahaha DS comes home at 2 so laying in couch watching a movie until then.
Sorry, posted too fast! Not much going on here this weekend, just nice time with the husband and son. It's been good!
I went to Target yesterday (got another baby registry bag, lolololol) and got some of their new line of maternity jeans. If you need some they're great! They have a "cross over" panel, I like them much more than the Liz Lange ones they used to have. I would have skipped jeans but there's about a month here I'll need pants before it gets warm and I'm 15 weeks already.... FIFTEEN WEEKS!!!!!
Happy birthday, @jsnakehole! I hope it’s wonderful!
@coffeecocktailsandcake I went to target yesterday to try some on. Since we are in SoCal it’s pretty much already summer weather (it’s been in the 80s for weeks, this week is finally a little cooler in the 60s), so instead of buying jeans I ended up with a pair of shorts with the crossover panel - I like it! I figured I won’t care so much about cellulite when it’s 100 degrees and I’m a blimp

Crossover panel is a full panel, but only in the front. In the back, it is lower and.. crosses over. Idk how else to explain it. A lot of the Isabel brand pants are either crossover or under belly.

Aw heck no, I need that back fat to be sucked in too
I was looking thru recipes trying to get inspired for something to make tonight and I saw a recipe for no bake cookies, then realized I had all the stuff! Boom. They were yummy. Still don’t know what’s for dinner
@calimom2524 I’m catching up, but i love your positive outlook on life. Things are going to be amazing for you- because of that! You will make sure they are!
@jsnakehole hope you had a great birthday and got to do something better than talk to SIL
@elsieisamoocow girl tell me about it! I’m in Scottsdale- it’s in the 80s already. Last pregnancy I wore all these cute bump hugging dresses... this time I’m ready to break out DHs T-shirt’s already
I had a huge list of all the things I was going to get done today... Laundry, cleaning, studying, dinner making, etc. Woke up with a sinus headache and in 6 hours all I have accomplished is brushing my teeth, putting on a bra (that alone took me 4 hours to get to), watching 5 episodes of Gilmore girls, and starting one load of laundry. Texted my husband who is working and told him to yell at me for being lazy. He just laughed and said "do work plz." Not any more motivated than I was before.
@livinthesunnylife I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s maternity clothes consist mostly of DH’s T-shirts. During my first pregnancy I was working and had all these cute maternity clothes, last pregnancy I was a SAHM and DD wasn’t in school yet so I got dressed like twice a week. This time I have to go out everyday to take her to school but that isn’t enough of a reason for me to look cute lol.
Also, you ladies impress me with your tagging skills.
I can’t remember who posted the allergy recipe for the diffuser. I went out and bought a diffuser which I have been wanting for some time now. I have the lemon grass and peppermint essential oil but still need to get the Lavender one. Thanks for the heads up. I have started to research essential oils and allergies.with this pregnancy my allergies have went haywire and I can’t take my allergy medication.
That's awesome that she gave you all of her summer clothes! Last year I really preferred the full panel versus the underbelly panel because I liked the belly hug. I have some that dip down in the back and some that are the same height in the back as they are in the front. The same height ones were WAY too hot in the summer. The ones that dipped down were fine BUT I like this cross over panel because it hugs my back a little bit because it crosses over it doesn't pull on my back like the dip down ones can when you get big. Try them out!
Also, def get some active wear pants. My favorites were old Navy full panel ones.
Last pregnancy was also an August baby and I still rocked the full panel. I didn’t go outside much though lol! I was so hooked on the extra support that it was worth it.
DH and I just caught up on celebrity big brother, I’m kinda meh about it. Shannon Elizabeth is on though and I’ve always loved her.

I just watch the three episodes as well. I am not sure what my feelings are yet. I do not I can’t stand Omariso she is so Meh to me.
Thank you for all the birthday wishes! Today was pretty nice- I had brunch with my best friend and then we did a little shopping. Now I'm back home and cleaning my house before DH gets home.
My NT scan is tomorrow and I'm super nervous. I started crying on the train thinking about it. I'm trying to stay positive, especially since my symptoms are extra strong this week (holy all day sickness and sore boobs, batman) but I'll feel better around 5 PM tomorrow, when we're all done at the doctor.

@mrsbubbles-2 and @ssthomps I watch B.B. too but this is bleh. Also, why don’t they get outside? Is it because they’re “celebrities” lol I’ve only watched 2 though
@jsnakehole I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way! I hope the time absolutely flies by. Big hugs hon, can’t wait to see an amazing update!
So glad I’m not the only one just not feelin’ BB. We desperately need something new to watch. We’re trying How to get away with murder and idk if we’re not invested yet only 2 episodes in but it’s kind of meh.

I watch how to get away with murder and it sucks you in sometimes but it’s super far fetched. I just started watching Frankie & Grace on Netflix.
@scottishlass1213 I’ve heard good things about Frankie & grace, are you enjoying it? @coffeecocktailsandcake LOVE the good wife! I think there’s a spin off? Have you checked it out?
I had a really rough day today with a terrible headache that started last night, and plagued me all day. It was making me nauseated, and I pretty much slept on the couch with the Olympics on all afternoon. Around 3:00 I was finally able to get myself together and do some grocery shopping. I still have a bunch of laundry I need to get to, but I'm somehow exhausted after doing next to nothing all day.
I bought a stroller and car seat combo today with my "baby budget" along with a vacuum packer. That pretty much does it for my Feb. budget, but I have a couple of friends and family members sending me baby clothes this month, so I'm still doing pretty well on my "acquire baby stuff" itinerary. Between my car, and DH's oral surgery my savings is shot, and I'm very stressed about money right now.

@derbysquirrel don’t stress! Babies really don’t need a lot. My grandma used to tell us how she put her babies in a makeshift bed she made from a dresser drawer. They need food. Diapers. Love. Some clothes. It always comes together.
Hi ladies!!! Popping I quick to say hi and hope everyone is having a great weekend! I skimmed through all the posts and gave some love quickly! Cali has been super fun so far! Mani/pedis, sushi, brunch, beach, now hanging around the fire in my BFF’s backyard. Tomorrow we are going wine tasting - although it’ll probably be annoying a bit with everyone else drinking, I’m going to be in Malibu, so I’m hoping I won’t care that much! Ha. As much fun as it has been, I do miss my boys. This is the longest I’ve ever been away from DS, but DH is doing an amazing holding the fort down!

And then I woke up to a dreary cold and rainy day in NJ.

I think it’s @ssthomps but the allergy trio is regular lemon, not lemongrass. I don’t know that lemongrass would do the same thing.
