  • Oh gosh!! I see what you mean! I thought you were talking about my profile but appreciate that you noticed it in the photo. I didn’t even think of that! Can I chalk that up to pregnancy brain! Thanks for looking out!!  <3<3<3

    @KFrob
    Because of that I stopped posting on Facebook about my pregnancy. Well, since then, I got catfished myself and someone created a fake instagram account with my profile photos. Captions of my sons photos saying "my sweet son" or " I love my family". It was so creepy. So I shut down my Facebook a few months ago.
  • @ashin121 NO. WAY.   People are so creepy.  What is wrong with them?!
  • @ashin121 Oh my gosh, that’s AWFUL and so creepy.
  • @KFrob @vizslalady there are weird people out there.
  • @ashin121 That's beautiful. I'm crying just imagining you hearing that heart beat.

  • @mrsmartinez16 I am not the type to cry at all. My heart usually hurts when normal people cry so that usually tells me it's a crying moment. However I definitely teared today. It was so nice seeing/hearing the heartbeat. :smile:

    @nasalot188 I can't believe the tech wouldn't give you a pic! What the heck!?
  • @zwink1 I know right! I had the same experience with DS. They seem reluctant to give photos before 12 weeks..

    Will post u/s in a bit when I can pull myself back together. Measuring a full week behind (6w3d when we should be 7w3d) and heartbeat at 123. We got to hear it and see it which was cool, but I’m in tears worrying about being behind. Doc said it made sense based on 31 day cycle but not based on OPKs, so she scheduled us for another u/s in 2 weeks. I really was hoping for more confidence from her but she wouldn’t give us a great signal either way.
  • @chopchop25 positive thoughts your way.
  • @chopchop25 don't stress too much. You might just have a small baby! As long as it keeps growing and has the heartbeat you shouldn't worry. It might catch up! Sending positive thoughts!

  • @chopchop25 I know it's hard, but try not to worry yourself too much. Ultrasounds this early on aren't super accurate since baby is so teeny tiny. I'll be thinking of you though!
  • @chopchop25 ditto what the others said. I know it’s hard, but try not to worry. You saw a strong heartbeat, which is a huge milestone. With my first pregnancy with DS, he measured a bit behind at the beginning and they had me super worried, but turns out he was just a small baby. I’m sending all my positive thoughts your way though for a good next appt!!
  • Thanks ladies. H is happy but I’m just having a hard time relying on an idea that either math, science, or technology is off. And I’ve read that early u/s are actually supposed to be more accurate, but who knows.
    Here is the u/s. Apologies if it’s huge - on iPad.

    @chopchop25 with this pregnancy I had the first u/s at 6w6d and they told me I was more like 6w.  I was trying not to freak out.  I just had the second one at 8w4d and was measuring right on track, so like others have said try not to worry.  I also was using OPKs and have a 31ish day long cycle.  :)
  • @chopchop25 I’ve been where you have. With DD3 I went in at 8w1d and she was only measuring at 7 weeks. They pushed my due date back the full week. We had a few stumbles along the way but made it 38 weeks for delivery. She was on the smaller side at 6 pounds 6 ounces. She’s more than made up for her slow start since then. Now she’s a healthy, obnoxious 1st grader who is currently fighting with me about homework. I will keep you in my thought. I hope everything’s works out.
  • @jennybean80 omg that is amazing! Congratulations!

    @chopchop25 Was your first EDD based on LMP? Mine according to LMP was 10/7, which I knew was wrong because I have a long cycle and ovulated later. According to ultrasound my due date will be 10/15 which is about what I expected. But that's more than a week difference. It's really not a huge deal. It can also change. My friend went in at what she thought was 7 weeks and they told her she was actually 6 weeks. Then she went again at what she thought was 9 weeks and they changed it back to 10 weeks. Ultrasounds can be pretty inaccurate.
  • @chopchop25 - hugs that it wasn't the reassurance you were expecting.  FWIW, some babies grow less consistently and just have huge random bursts of growth (much like toddlers!).  That's a good strong heartbeat, and i would take some comfort in that.   <3
  • @acciocoffee we based it off OPKs and temping. Doc was okay with it making sense with my longer cycle, but agreed it didn’t make sense with OPK.

    Definitely trying to keep my head  and focus on the heartbeat as a good sign. Two weeks can’t come soon enough! Thanks for all of your support everyone!

    @jennybean80 congrats!!!
  • @KFrob I'm glad your recent u/s went well!!!!!! :)
