Mine is I fell down the stairs this morning- I keep replaying it in my head because I had almost grabbed my daughters hand to take her down. I cringe thinking what would have happened to her.

The wind is my bitchfest today. It is not even 10am and it is windy and 85 degrees. It has been windy all weekend, which has caused me to have some major congestion. I hate the wind!

I’m sooo sore after the accident yesterday and DS is fighting a cold and just in the whiniest mood. Everything is a battle. All I want to do is curl up in bed with like 6 blankets and take a 4 hour nap.

@lindsayleigh1989 +1 to the horrid behavior. I have never heard so many "NO!"s in my life. My DS's new thing is to cross his arms and say "HARUMPH!" Adorable I have to keep myself form laughing at him.

I was feeling HORRIBLE last night, fever and chills, enough that I called the doc to see if I could get in and figure out why I have random fevers and can't get rid of my headaches. The nurse said she would page another nurse and have them call me. That was 5 hours ago and no call. So here I am, stuck being out of breath, with headaches and a bit dizzy every time I run around doing a little work, and worrying my fevers are going to come back, and I just feel like my old hospital would have already seen me and the price of going to a big hospital with a NICU is that I am just a number there, and they will likely never call me back.  I am a bit concerned its related to my low blood pressure, which I mentioned, but I guess they don't care!

I feel like crap with a bad cold.  My sinuses are so clogged and my eye keeps randomly watering.  Obviously I cannot really take anything, so I'm just quietly suffering along.  DH just called to tell me now HE'S getting sick.  Take some sudafed and suck it up, buttercup.  Don't start complaining to me!

Well mine actually comes from Sunday. My mother in law decided to give me her opinions on multiple baby subjects over the course of her visit yesterday and it all just rubbed me the wrong way. 

Examples include:

She asks what piece of furniture I plan to put in a corner of my living room and responds with “oh the baby would be able to pull up on that and knock it over. I don’t think that’s a good idea” 

She informs me that MY MOM should retire early so she can take care of the baby and I don’t have to put it in daycare. 

She then goes on to tell me how kids handle daycare better the earlier you get them used to it. 

Apparently I should move back to my hometown (only 45 mins away) so everyone can help with the baby. Also, let me add we just bought our house last year and we both work in the city in which we live. I responded to that one with a snarky “well my mom comes to visit whenever I need her so I’m not worried about that”

And my personal favorite: she tells me some BS story about how she ran into someone from our high school and that person magically just knew we were pregnant and she didn’t want to lie so she confirmed. After I told her I would have lied she said “oh well I didn’t give anything away”. Literally no one I’ve told would have had any opportunity or ability to talk to this girl. So either my mother in law lied about her story to cover up telling or she’s told someone that does communicate with this girl. I’m super annoyed and I’m seriously about to message the girl on Facebook and ask how it really went down.

@WorkinWeezel car accident! Hydroplaned on the highway, spun around and hit the median- so scary! And probably totaled my car   
Were okay! DS was with me, well hooked into his car seat thankfully and I wasn’t hurt, but I definitely feel it today.

my bitchfest is that I don’t want to go to work this afternoon (or ever!! Lol). I’ve told everyone in the small office I work in that I’m pregnant except for one, for the sole reason that she’s a bully and her first comment to a coworker upon learning of her pregnancy is “don’t get too excited, there’s a chance you’ll lose it since it’s your first” WTF. She’s super negative and talks about all of our coworkers behind our backs. The boss is also aware of it all. The funny thing is that she’s the oldest one in the office.... should that not make her more mature?!! Ugh. The petty part of me wants to keep it a secret from her the whole time just to make her mad.

My bitchfest is EVERY OTHER DRIVER in my town.  Seriously, in the last week, I've almost been hit by someone running a stop sign, by someone not yielding when they have a yield sign, by someone whose left turn just about sideswiped me because she couldn't stay in her lane, and moved over for someone on my ass when I was already driving 10 mph over the speed limit, only to get in a lane behind someone who felt compelled to brake, and then drive 10 mph below the speed limit. Not to mention the early morning crush at my university, where apparently entering the intersection on a yellow light when traffic is already backed up (so you are therefore sitting in the middle of the intersection with no where to go when it turns red) is totally cool. 

The hormones are strong with me this time around.  Much yelling. Very rage-y.

Finally got the sickness that's going around   So much sinus pressure and nothing works.  Tried hot showers, pressure points, elevating my head, drinking water- plus at 15 weeks I have sciatic nerve pain which is horrific

My daughter is being such a terror today. Nothing is making her happy and I'm sooo ready for naptime! Just hoping she's not getting sick or something, which would be sad.

Also my boobs are not fitting in any of my bras but I've been too lazy to go bra shopping! They are SO SORE still. I need something SUPER cozy and also supportive so will be going shopping later... or any amazon suggestions for pregnancy/nursing bras are appreciated!

Ugh. I'm sick with a cold but I keep convincing myself that I have influenza and I'm going to die. DS is dealing with a nasty cold too AND is getting one of his canines in, poor guy. Dropped the kids off a daycare and my DD was upset but I got her calmed down and as I was walking out the door I heard another kid call her a cry baby. I almost went mama bear wild on the kid! 

Just a pretty Monday, Monday. UGH.

My bitchfest is that I had to miss my appointment last week due to jury duty. I don't even mind juryduty and I respect our judicial system but it made me sad and anxious to miss the appointment. I feel like I need those check ins to make sure the baby is still ok in there. It's rescheduled for this week but I'm kind of anxious and looking forward to confirmation that baby is ok.

My bitchfest is about what happened to me on Friday. I had been in the process of applying to a new job in my office which would be a separate department and basically a promotion. I have been inquiring since November before I even found out I was pregnant. With the holidays and the slow pace everyone likes to work at here, I interviewed a couple of weeks ago and it went well. The person I interviewed with asked to speak with me on Friday in her office and then preceded to tell me I did not get the position. So awkward!

I would’ve preferred an email. I tried really hard to make sure I wasn’t giving her a bitch face as to why that had to happen in person. Of course I was disappointed about not getting the role but I was also worried about taking it on if I did with only months to go before baby. Sorry for the novel! 

Sending support to everyone else! As the saying goes opinions are like A-holes/and negative bullies in the office should go kick some rocks. Sorry for not tagging!

Our nipt test results show that they are done and under clinical review. I wish that they would release them now so I could look at them with DH at home. Darn company taking its time! I know they have to but Im being impatient.

This is a three parter and pretty gross:

1. What is with the pee on the toilet seat in the office? We have paper seat covers, please use them or at least wipe when you're done. We're all (supposedly) adults here.
2. What is with the bloody tampon floating in the toilet? Seriously...I work with a bunch of teenagers, not responsible adults.
3. Why the hell is there always a bloody tampon in the toilet when we have automatic flushing? I don't get it...why do you not flush now?!?

@nimmle so gross! In one of my offices we share one restroom for 90 people. Half the time it smells like piss because guys have no aim. Also they leave the seat up. I don’t want to touch that thing!! I also yes please you seat covers or put toilet paper down and actually sit. None of that hovering and if you do hover clean after yourself.

@nimmle I actually DO work with a bunch of teenagers.  While there used to be a staff bathroom, they recently changed it to a "gender neutral" bathroom and while I applaud my progressive and accepting school, I do wish I had a bathroom that was only used by the adults in my hallway.  It gets waaaaaaaaay overused and abused, and so, so gross.  And the custodian is my hallway is, unfortunately, less than par when it comes to doing his job.

@nimmle that is disgusting! The worst I walked into was when I was working at one of our other site and went into 1 of the 2 staff bathrooms to find poop on the floor. Just chilling there like it plopped out of someones pants. I walked in and walked right back out.

@nimmle I don't flipping get it. The pee on the seat...like, why? Of you do get some on it, wipe it off! Or use the cover! And leaving ANYTHING in the toilet...come on...please flush. I always notice it in public restrooms and I just don't get it.

My bitching today goes to my gums...just finished with the dentist for a cleaning and they bleed so.much. pregnancy makes it worse...and I hate flossing...and I inherited my dad's genes when it comes to gums so it's also something I need to be extra diligent about. Hoping I can finally get off my lazy butt and create a flossing routine.

@nimmle I might have just thrown up a little in my mouth. And then I read that @busymommy23, OMG. 

@WorkinWeezel I got checked out at the ER, the doctor was saying all the wrong things. Like, you don’t tell a worried pregnant women that she’s only 17 weeks so there’s nothing they can do even if something was wrong. How is that at all reassuring... I’m sitting there like “uhhh you should at least be checking that the placenta’s okay” 
But anyways I think she could tell I didn’t like her answer, so I got a bedside u/s and she tried to get a sneak peek of the sex but she wasn’t good with the u/s. Baby looked good though!

@busymommy23 OMG you win. That is so gross!! Although come to think of it I did walk in one time and there was poop plopped on the back of the toilet. Like they somehow missed really badly. I feel so bad for the facilities employees in my office that have to clean this stuff up.

Lol @nimmle I wasnt trying to win! I still recall a time from my first job at a grocery store when a customer went back to use the bathroom and decided to squat and pee about 5 ft from the bathroom in the middle of our backroom, right by the employee lockers. There were workers back there and they got her on camera. All she did was say sorry. Lol.

Not exactly a bathroom story per se, but retail was my first job. On more than one occasion someone peed or pooped in the changing rooms. I don’t get it.

We've definitely had poop on the floor and poop explosions on the back of the toilet. As well as pee all over and it remains unflushed. Ive left reminder posters in there and then kids write/draw inappropriate things on them. We also have an anti-semetic remark written in there on the wall in pen that I've reported and tried to clean myself to no avail!

Speaking of feeling sorry for the custodians in bathroom situations....at my old job he had it horrible! The kids didn't respect the bathroom at the school but once a kid threw up after the custodian was out for the day. The principal threw some if that crystalizing chemical in there and locked the door for the custodian to clean at 4AM the next day when he got in. I really like the custodian rland he's always been there for me so I cleaned it up for him. Principal, who I definitely hated, looked like a huge douche. Bonus!
