How far along are you? 13w 2d

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Had NT scan this morning. Went really well. Was told we tested negative for everything and baby is within normal range. Plus, we got more pictures. Baby just didn't want to uncross his/her legs to show us the goods. 

Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? Exhaustion, without being able to sleep well. Peeing like crazy. RLP when sneezing. Bitchiness, irritable. Pregnancy brain

Rants/Raves? Just want to rave about our BMB...there is quite a lot of us now, however, we still maintain a good support for eachother. Giving the brutal honesty yet love and compassion. I would be a lot more lost if it weren't for my July ladies!

GTKY: What will you miss most about being childless when your LO is born? Sleep. Me time. Sleep.

How far along are you? 12 weeks 5 days

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? I have an ultrasound this Thursday! I’ll be 13 weeks and I’m so excited/anxious!

Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? Symptoms are mostly fading at this point. 

Rants/Raves? sorry if it’s TMI but I don’t love the length of time between pooping since I got pregnant. I haven’t truly been constipated for any length of time but I just hate not being as regular as I was. SO MUCH BLOATING

Questions for FTM, STM+? 

GTKY: What will you miss most about being childless when your LO is born? probably my current relationship with my husband. I assume that will change once the baby is born. Also, I’ll miss being able to just go and do whatever we want whenever we want. And sleep.

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? I had an ultrasound last Tuesday that went really well.  

Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? 

Been having some cramps. I thought I felt baby moving the other night but I just don’t know what it feels like, so I can’t say. 

Rants/Raves? My doctor, diabetes educator, etc. They are so on the ball with everything. I love them.

GTKY: What will you miss most about being childless when your LO is born? Probably sleep. I like my sleep. I’m sure it will be worth it, though.

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? 
I had a check up on Monday- doc said baby is doing great! And baby was wiggling and waving it’s arms! 

Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? 

I’ve had some pain like I pulled a muscle in my stomach- which might be that ligament pain I’ve seen others talk about. 

Rants/Raves?

Rants- we are in the process of moving in with my in laws to save money before baby. I’m happy for the opportunity but packing is the worst!

GTKY: What will you miss most about being childless when your LO is born? 
I guess- I’ll miss being selfish lol- by really right now I go out with my coworkers after work, or with my friends spur of the moment, but with baby that will all have to change. Also/ hubby and I love to travel and visit family/we will just have tlove plan those trips better going forward.

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? 
had one last week that went well. Babies looked good. Have an early anatomy scan next week at 17w (MFM said they try to do it early with twins) so that feels like a big hurdle to get past...hoping they both look ok! 

Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? 

same pelvic/lower abdominal pain/discomfort I’ve been having for a few weeks. Some of it is RLP, some of it might be early SPD. Also heartburn towards the end of the day after dinner but otherwise just happy to be rid of morning sickness finally

did our quad screen at the last appointment and everything came back normal for both babies!

GTKY: What will you miss most about being childless when your LO is born?
Probably just all my free time to do nothing. I’m really going to miss having nothing pressing to do (but enjoying the heck out of it now)

Nothing this week, I have an appointment coming up on the 22nd.
Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? 

I've had a headache for DAYS. Otherwise, I feel pretty good.

Rants/Raves?

No real rants, but I'd love to rave about my DH. He's been absolutely amazing this whole time and the other day one of my fav boutique designers showed what's coming up for pre-order for spring/summer and I literally cried because she has some really great pieces coming out that aren't pregnancy friendly. Hubs told me to order pre-order one of the dresses anyway and let it be my incentive to get back to my old body after baby finally gets here. His reasoning is this figure isn't permanent and when when it comes to weight loss, I've done it before, I can easily do it again. I had lost 70+ lbs over the last two years and was like 3lbs from my goal weight before getting KU.

GTKY: What will you miss most about being childless when your LO is born?

I think just being able sleep in when we want or to go wherever whenever DH and I feel like it, like deciding to just head out for a 10-15 mile difficult hike with our dogs on a random Saturday. We know we'll still be able to hike and take the LO with us, but it will mean a different sort of hiking.

How far along are you? 12 weeks 1 day 

Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Appointment on Friday. Looking forward to the ultrasound since our first/last one was 12/21  

Any pregnancy related symptoms this past week? 
I’ve had some dull cramping on my left side. It’s really low and I am assuming it’s more stretching and not necessarily cramping but it comes and goes. 

Rants/Raves? Work. So over it. Also not really a rant but yesterday I had to do the rubber band trick with my work pants. I haven’t told anyone at work so I’m guessing I should stick to dresses for now. Lol but I still don’t notice a bump at all.  

Questions for FTM, STM+? 

GTKY: What will you miss most about being childless when your LO is born? I’m assuming sleep but I don’t get much of it now so hopefully that has prepared me. Also being able to work out, run errands on my own but I’m sure we will learn to make it work.
