@silverhope I love a good drive by so I don't think it's we're abandoning this one, I just know I can be more open if random strangers or people can't see everything I write. I had a weird experience where I think a family member was checking my posts last time that I would like to avoid. I'll just be more specific on the other than this one.
@silverhope, I think it's up to everyone what they personally want to do. I will be still active on the main boards, but will be more willing to post more personal info in the sub group.
Late to the party but I think it's too soon for the sake of privacy. I do waaaaay better at Facebook since I'm not great at bump mobile but I think it's still a little early.
@suchaglencoco unless TB gods have a procedure in place to track posts from people who have 2 warnings? We’re a super tight knit group and no one within the group would have reported anything. All very strange, but hey, now we know that if you get a warning or two, create an AI and let someone know.

I'm mainly open to fb because of the ease of use. I actually feel a bit more "protected" there in a private group than I do posting here, but my fb is very private unless we're friends.

I didn't even see that. It's just a blurb that pops up at the top of the group and says approve or deny. Damn I probably missed some funny responses. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place though.
Just requested. Lol. Still trying to catch up here from being non existent this week! But today’s a snow day, so I’m all over it. I like the idea of a private group before moving to Facebook. We can get to know each other before people can see my info in Facebook.
I like the idea of Facebook only because it is better (for me) with regard to notifications. I have no idea when anyone comments, likes or participates in any posts on The Bump unless I actively scroll through. However, I'm a pretty private person when it comes to FB so I would be hesitant to join.
@nhardler I think we discussed it earlier that it's not necessarily about the number of times someone has posted, but if they are a recognized and contributing member of the board. And by contributing, we mean actually supporting other people and participating in back and forth conversations, and not just posting on HDBD or one-off AW posts.

@nhardler I think it's quality versus quantity of comments. People don't have to post a lot to be a part of the community. It's more about caring and responding to others. For me I think I have a pretty balance of responding to others and posting about myself. I genuinely care about 5 posters stories that I follow closely. (I care about others as well but I feel connected with those five ladies on a different level.
@charlestonchew, I just requested to join. I intitially voted “no” to moving to facebook because of privacy concerns. After reading through everyone’s comments, I actually think Facebook would be great. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who is limited by bump mobile. It is just so much easier to contribute on FB and the notifications are nice.
Witth that said, I am happy to hang out, and hopefully participate more, in the private group until we have a solid group ready to move to FB.
