STM+ Check in 1/3

Re: STM+ Check in 1/3

  • The "benefit" to getting pregnant with a 6 month old at home is that I still hadn't lost all of the baby weight, so no one is going to accuse me of being pregnant again right now, or even think that is an option.  They'll just think I'm still fat from last time.  I never thought those extra 5lbs that refused to budge could possibly be beneficial in any way, but here we are.

  • +1 for can’t suck in and uncomfortable.
  • Also feeling bloated over here. I do fine through lunch with making myself eat healthy stuff. Then all I want for the rest of the day is CARBS, which I know make me bloat like crazy. So I've got a nice bloat belly going on, and my face is super puffy. Can I just hibernate in the house until 2nd tri when I actually look pregnant?
@delujm0 I can't remember, are you still nursing? My body wouldn't let me drop the last ten pounds until I stopped pumping. All that is to say don't worry about the last 5. Kudos to you for getting that close to pre-preg weight in the first 6 months!!
    Me: 28, DH: 40
    Married 9/28/13
    DS born 11/12/15
    EDD 8/13/18
  • Is it possible to just be bloated in the belly only? I swear my face isn't puffy, just my belly. I can't suck it in, obviously it's not my raspberry sized bean that's showing but damn, I feel like I already look pregnant :flushed:

This is me. My face hasn’t changed, but my stomach definitely has. I find myself suckin in because that’s an old habit when I would get bloated. The only thing is now it is so uncomfortable, I have to remind myself that I am pregnant and it is not just bloated. UGH.
  • 1) How far along are you? 8 weeks 1 day
    2) Have you noticed any differences in your pregnancies so far? Its exactly the same as with my daughter only just really really tired but that could be from taking care of my other 3

    3) Rants/Raves, what are your others up to?
My oldest is always talking about growing up and getting married lol it is like he thinks he is 30
My middle child is just a crazy little man
And my daughter is 14 months and is running everywhere and steals her brothers stuff especially chocolate

    4) Fun kiddo stories from the holidays?
My boys got almost everything on there list just to be playing with all their sister's princess stuff, which my DD thought was great because she torn open all their toys why they weren't looking. She even sneaky crawled though all their things so they wouldn't see her
  • 1. 9 weeks 4 days

    3. Rants: my 5 year old has become increasing more difficult and doesn’t listen. She’s driving me crazy, raves: the baby has been so cute lately now that she walking and Dh has been great taking over the care of the kids while I’m not feeling well
    4. The 5 year old doesn’t keep secrets, so when we announced at Christmas, she was to,d she was going to be a big sister again. She was not happy but since then has told me she wants another baby sister and that she wants to name her baby brother

  • 1) How far along are you? About 6 weeks and 5 days
    2) Have you noticed any differences in your pregnancies so far? I didn't have any morning sickness last time either but this time I'm less tired and less bloated. My anxiety seems to be much worse because with such minimal symptoms, I'm constantly thinking something is wrong. Also, can't stand DH this time around either LOL
    3) Rants/Raves, what are your others up to? My 18 month old is a giant sweetheart, it's so much fun seeing her learn new things everyday. She loves yelling hi at people and is starting to mimic my facial expressions. She's got a really mean side eye down pat.
    4) Fun kiddo stories from the holidays? This was the first Christmas where she understood a bit of what was going on and got excited to open presents. She can't say Santa so she would just yell Ssssss! whenever she saw him.

    Hello from Detroit!

  • 1. 11w
    2. No major difference now that nausea has mostly subsided
    3. A random stranger paid for out breakfast this morning. It had such an impact on my husband he immediately decided to pay it forward and leave a huge tip for the waitress.
    4. DD tried crab legs for the first time and it was absolutely hilarious. She kept telling us she was eating Tomatoa and saying “yum! more!”

  • @hotairballoons99 that’s awesome that someone paid for your breakfast. And aw, poor Tomatoa

My husband was still talking about it last night he was asking me if I thought the people whose check we paid, picked up someone else’s check. Saying it would be cool if it went on all day. He was so amazed that it happened.
