Oh baby do I need this today. Its the first day students are back from Christmas, and I already 'got in trouble'. 

Middle school girls are full of drama, and I can't stand it right now. I just 'had a talking to' about tossing a pencil to someone who asked for one the week before we left for break, and then told that group to be quiet and get back to work. ANOTHER student who was on the other side of the room told her mom I threw (like trying to hit her in the face) the pencil at her and told her to 'just shut up already and get your dang work done.' Nice thing is I had students working on filming a project, so the entire thing is on camera and mom may have learned her kid is a drama queen, but still WTF?!

Wtf pregnancy headaches. This is ridiculous. Got a headache last night so just went to bed early. Woke up and instantly have a headache. LAME

My WTF is to my H and the conversations we've had the past week:

Me: I'm feeling pretty queasy today.
Him: Really? Why?
Me: ................

Me: Man, I'm just so tired. 
Him: That's weird - you got a lot of sleep last night.
Me: ................

Him, shortly after NYE: So, are you going to go back to trying to lose weight now that the holidays are done?
Me:..................<long awkward silence>  No. 

I love him to death, but I guess if he can't see the bump, it's not real?

@hezzer78 Right there with ya!! Day after Christmas H threw our all and I mean ALL the sweets in our house except his beloved cheesecake. I skipped out on work lunchin and brought my own lunch so I could eat Christmas cookies when I got home and it was all gone. Better believe I ate most of his cheese cake  

I took two naps last Saturday. 
Him: Why do you sleep so much? You never used to just lay around on the couch all day.
Me.....There is literally a person growing in me, that you helped make.
Him: Yeah, but I didn't know it would make you so tired.

Oh man.  They'll get it eventually.  My husband is MUCH better this time around - like pro-actively doing things because they know what to expect and what the drill is after going through it once

I work in Human Resources at a University and we're down a Recruiter  - though we knew for like 4 months she was leaving.  Boss did a terrible job at transitioning and somehow I am left to clean up the mess because I am the reliable one in my department, even though I don't handle Recruiting.  Usually, that's fine, I prefer to be busy but right now I just can't focus!

@scottishlass1213 I work for a University too as the communications person for one of the engineering departments. Currently, I need to plan faculty recruitment visits, grad recruiting weekend, write some stories, post on social, etc... and I can't focus either!

I am so sick of having a cold. We have all had one since the end of October. When will it be over!??? Plus having a cold on top of nausea is fing annoying.

@danna_lyn and @hezzer78 they will eventually get it and learn to help more. The beginning is so hard because you feel like complete crap and have to deal with a DH who isn’t understanding of how crappy and tired you feel. But once they see you vomiting or not eating things you used to love, they’ll get it

WTF road construction.  All the work has been making my hour commute more like hour and a half. Then I'm useless and exhausted when I get home.

@hezzer78 @danna_lyn I have been WTFing MH a lot lately too. I think he definitely thinks I am exaggerating/milking the m/s and exhaustion. He told me on Monday that he feels like I haven't been doing my share of the housework lately. I stared right at him and responded "I have been doing all of the childcare."

@hezzer78 @legallykate @danna_lyn They do get better. H has been making me have a 'quiet time' every afternoon so I can get a nap in if I want. He also has taken over all the cooking and laundry - I have to fold, and anytime I say I'm hungry I get pestered for exactly what I want then he runs out to get it. Its really nice, but a bit smothering. 

@hardlyhannah It has its moments of being awesome. They are sometimes few and far, far between; but they are there. This is just stupid drama that carried over from before Christmas, and mom has since emailed an 'official' apology from her and her student to my principal.

All the husband people...those conversations made me laugh! My husband has also been better this time around. Pretty sure we had several of those conversations the first time around.

I am glad to hear it gets better with subsequent pregnancies/hopefully will later on in this one! I keep urging DH to tell his friends who are dads that we are expecting in the hopes that they will be like "here are some pointers on dealing with your wife."

I think it's really hard for first time dad's when there's no bump. I know once I started wearing maternity clothes and looked pregnant, it really hit my SO. I remember telling him sometime in the third tri, the weight I've gained (which was in the recommended healthy range) is equivalent to 2 or 3 gallons of milk. So, try carrying around a few gallons of milk. All day. Every day. That's when it really sunk in for him.

I’ve been looking forward to my kid’s nap time since we woke up, with plans to nap as well. His usual hour and a half nap was 30 mins. WTF.

WTF Apple.  My phone battery is dead 6x a day.  I know I could get a new battery, but I want a new phone.  But why does it cost my right arm?

@livinthesunnylife which versions? Sometimes you can trade it in to the provider and get a credit. That’s what I did to get my 7 plus back when they were released.

@hfooter I have the 64gb iphone 6.  I think they are offering something like $100.  But if I'm going to upgrade, I want the X!

I got the X and it is honestly not noticeably different/better than the 7 I had before. The Face ID annoys me, and I miss the home button.

@hezzer78 @legallykate @danna_lyn My husband didn't feel like the pregnancy was real until we did the 20w US. Until then it was more like I had the stomach flu for a couple of months.

My dad never understood. Even at 30 weeks he was like why are you so tired. These other people I know who were pregnant we're this tired....

My DH is on the opposite end of the spectrum. He has claimed sympathetic cravings, nausea, exhaustion, etc. No, dude. You’re not pregnant, you’re just lazy and eating like crap.

I'm laughing so hard at the husband conversations because my DH has been the same way. He was actually more understanding during our first pregnancy and now he's like "I don't think you seem as tired as last time" simply because we now have an 18 month old DS who needs to be taken care of, so I can't nap like I did the first time. Ugh, men.....ha

My DH is just funny. I started bawling when MC sang Hero NYE. 1 because that song has emotion tied to my past already but 2 I’m pregnant so multiple it. He was like are you ok, me-I’m pregnant dude to which he responded right, I still haven’t adjusted to that and the emotions.

My WTF is at the snow plow company for pushing an 8 foot tall mound of snow 4 feet away from my front door. We generally don't use that door much, but still.
My DH is decidedly less understanding this time, too. Apparently I'm a pro by now and don't need the extra help.
(But actually during wakeup #4 with our screaming 11 month old, some help would be very welcome!)

But he did do dishes the other day, and is going to the store for groceries tonight, so I can't complain too much

Also the day before Christmas he made a special trip to get me "all the canned yams they have."

Wtf is with all of these MFing pop-ups and ads on the app now. I can barely type a complete message before it sends me to some flashing Amazon gift card pop-up ad I can't back out of, I have to close the entire app and start all over.

I have a very strict cleaning schedule, which I personally NEED to adhere to - if things start to pile up, I get overwhelmed and can't make myself start, causing anxiety. *disclaimer* I realize it's excessive, but it's the only thing that works for me. As part of the schedule, I do either laundry or dishes and tidy the house every day, along with one larger item (floors, bathrooms, dust, etc...). DH already does his fair share of other household tasks, but I asked him to take over the daily tidying (takes literally 5-10 min) so that I can rest a bit when I get home since I'm on my feet all day. You'd think I asked him to run daily marathons or something.

Also, WTF Oregon. Have you guys seen this stuff about the self-serve gas station law? People are losing their minds because some rural gas stations will not be required to employ an attendant to pump your gas for you. I didn't even know those still existed!! And I've been to Oregon!

@lakesideknitter preach about the gas law! I’m cracking up! I actually hated that while we were there. All I wanted was to just get our own gas and be on our way. What a pita to wait for someone to do it for you!

MY WTF Wednesday is that I feel no motivation at work so I left 3 hours early but had to dip into my sick leave. Nothing sounded good to eat today so I ordered a salted pretzel at lunch and ate guacamole and chips. Then about 2 hours after that I had a grilled chicken sandwich. It seems like my younger co-workers are really annoyed with my symptoms and one of them basically just cut me off today when I started talking about my symptoms. I guess I can't expect sympathy from people who have never been preggers. I hope this nausea ends soon because it seems to hit me right after I eat a meal!!! Ok, thanks for listening!

@erinjasonwilson tbh I can kind of understand where your coworkers are coming from. When I first started teaching there was lots of baby/pregnancy talk and while my older colleagues were into it, I wasn't because I couldn't relate to it. I don't talk about my symptoms with my colleagues (with the exception of my mom, who works in the same building). Since I'm at work, I kind of just nut up and shut up. If I really felt like they were stopping me from working, I'd probably only tell my AP if I needed help, since she's my supervisor. Otherwise, I don't think anyone has to listen to me complain.

For the ftm's who's hubbies are having a hard time relating or understanding what you're going through, there is a really cute, and free, app that is called DaddyUp. It is an app all in "man speak" to tell him what you are going through each week. I tried getting my DH books the first time around but he's not a reader. He ended up loving the app and we made it a weekly tradition that when I changed weeks to read his app together before we went to bed. Some of the stuff is downright hilarious but true! I hope it will help some of you! We are already enjoying using it again this time!

@erinjasonwilson the other thing with talking pregnancy symptoms, mainly complaining, is you have no idea what the other person has/is going through. There could be losses, infertility you just never know. When I was struggling to get pregnant I had some random pregnant lady at a baseball game start complaining about not being able to drink because of “this thing” yes the comment was innocent enough but it killed me and partially ruined my night as I had just t step negative that day.
