@Poppy0419 I was running up until it snowed here in CT. My husband doesn't want me running outside with crazy drivers and snow, and ice. I cannot run on a treadmill. I get so dizzy. I am hoping to keep up with hiking and begin running again when the baby comes, or if we have a crazy short winter which is unlikely.
nanifrog I used to have a bikini body too at one point....34 was when things started getting a little loose and jiggly in the tummy area. Oh well.
@lincbeesmom - lolz looks like they have board police. Perhaps she doesn't understand that on the interwebz, on a public forum we can post where we like
@roomsu, GA teacher here! (I got behind on ransoms) We went back Thursday too. No recess for us either. The thing about GA is that we typically only get a few days of SUPER crazy cold weather a year. In my class I have kids still wearing shorts when it's 19. Then they have a sweatshirt rather than a coat. Kids don't dress appropriately. Plus... I'm a baby! If it's freezing I want to be inside!
Holy shit this thread got away from me. I've skimmed so I think I'm caught up now? Thanks to those who explained the top commenter or whatever image. So interesting what you miss out on being strictly mobile!
Lol to the other board dramas. You ladies are great!
Feeling sorry for those experiencing insomnia. That is rough!! I hope y'all can get some solid naps in at some point - if they help. I love naps but DH hates them and says they make him feel worse.
@heelsidehero I am also forever behind on threads and having a hard time catching up. By the time I get through everything there are like 15 different people I want to personally respond to but feel like it’s too late to seem relevant because the conversations have turned to other things already.
I have to say I really love all the gifs you ladies posted in this thread and in general. They always make me laugh out loud.
+1 for insomnia
@abhphilly I’m constantly up in the middle of the night dying of thirst and with sore hips. I need to figure out where my pregnancy body pillow got packed away to see if that helps any.
@Poppy0419 glad bedtime went better for you, hopefully your daughter will sleep through the night AND you can as well! It’s truly the worst when they finally sleep great and you can’t.
@clee5711 I'm up often because of thirst, having to pee, and my hips killing me. Of course each time I get up I have to find a way to get untangled from the pregnancy pillow and then my lovely elderly dogs decide 3 am is the time they need to go outside and pee too. If nothing else wakes me up, the -30° it's been this past week sure does and I can't call back asleep until about 5 when it is time to start getting ready for the day. I have no idea how I'm going to take care of an infant and be a productive person.
@JNCPro3130 Are you off tomorrow? We just got the call! I’m excited. Hoping kids can go to daycare and I can get stuff done. Atlanta is going to be crazy tomorrow and I’m glad to stay off the roads.
@jhysmath I also have an older dog who seems to need to go out to pee in the middle of the night as often as I do! And Oh man, I forgot how hard it is to get out of bed with the pillow and the growing belly. I think I needed my husband to shove me outdo bed towards the end of my last pregnancy
We were playing Taboo today. DD1 too it out and wanted to learn. I was demonstrating and this happened...
Me: in May we are having a... DH: picnic
DD1 corrected him. This was shortly after telling him about how the husbands of bump people are saying stupid things like forgetting about the pregnancy.
@roomsu, yes! I'm really shocked! DS's daycare is closed too. I'm definitely staying off the roads and as far from Atlanta as possible! I'm currently in my pjs and loving it!
@JNCPro3130 My kids’ daycare is open!!! Yay for a mommy day. I’ve been doing laundry, cleaning and got a run in. Did I really have all this time before I had kids?
@heelsidehero I try to take little breaks to catch up or try at night. I'm with you though, sometimes when there is like 30 new comments I may skip and wait until a new one is started or something. I try to keep up with the weekly check in threads at a minimum.

DS isn’t in daycare or anything but I seriously wonder what I used to do with my time before he was born. Well I guess I was working full time and In college full time so I guess i was doing that haha

Edit because insomnia spelling is hard.
