These tiny girl clothes are making me sad that I'm having a boy! They are just too cute. I didn't find out the sex of my DD ahead of time, so I didn't have these adorable tiny things, although I do get to have adorable things now that are just a little bigger.
@lincbeesmom I know, it’s so much harder to find good boy clothes. It’s so unfair!! I loved H&M, Old Navy, and Cat and Jack at Target though... and I’m obsessed with baby/toddler converse and mustache pacifiers
DS had the most adorable red plaid vest that he wore with a black waffle shirt that had a polar bear wearing a scarf on it and his little dark "jeans". I think it was from Carters maybe. The cute boy clothes are there you just have to dig a bit more than with girl clothes to find them. I'm actually reusing that one for this baby girl.
Just picked up a shirt for DS And some onesies for the little brothers. If I can find some coordinating hats and pants for the babies, I might make this be their coming home outfit. Haven’t decided if i want them in pjs or a real outfit.
Baby boy clothes are fun too! My mom laughs because DS is dressed like he's heading to the office often. lol I got him khaki pants and he has a bunch of button up shirts. I think it's hilarious when little boys are dressed up and look like little men!
I'm excited about clothes for a girl though too. I'm just worried I'm not "in-style" enough to dress or do hair for a little girl!
@jncpro3130 I totally agree that boy clothes are cute! I think they're great through toddler sizes. Now that my 4yo is in some kids sizes, boy stuff is awful. Maybe girl stuff is too? I have never shopped for girl stuff that big! And I find plenty of hideous or annoying girl stuff in baby sizes that makes me feel ok about boy clothes!
@holli0801, I barely do anything with MY hair! I'm afraid people are going to look at my daughter and think "Daddy must have done her hair ". Nope... it's mommy and I suck at it!
PSA for mommies to be of boys... one of the great things about boys is that in the morning when I'm running late, I can wet DS's hair, pat it down, and it's cute.
@molly1108-2, the thing I worry about for older girls is that I've heard it's hard to find age appropriate clothing. I'm old fashioned and don't want my daughter wearing super short shorts or things too revealing. While I'm not a "you must be covered head to toe" person, I do think modesty is important because there are some weirdos out there!

LOVE THESE! I said I'd only occasionally let my twins match before they were born, but there's something so darn adorable about thier matching outfits! I don't do it nearly as often now that they're a little bigger, but still precious!
I've already bought matching shirts for my twins and the new little (nameless) fella, and I'm pretty excited about it!
@jncpro3130 yeah, I think I would struggle with older girl clothes on that too. Again, never really shopped for them, but just passing them at stores they are a bit overwhelming for me.
@JNCPro3130 @holli0801 @molly1108-2 My DD is coming up on 3 and I love doing her hair! But I suck at my own hair, so there's hope. I don't do anything super fancy, but I do pigtails or 2 French braids a lot and always get compliments on it. I'm definitely not perfect at it, but they get a lot of compliments. So just try! You'll get better at it. And yes, I worry about the inappropriateness of girl clothes once she gets a little older...there are definitely some good brands that keep it age appropriate, so we'll just have to stick to those, I guess.
All of your sweet comments are also making me feel better about boy clothes. :-)
@JNCPro3130 and @maplemom18 I'm so worried about age appropriate clothes! I teach middle school and some of the things the girls wear just floors me. Some of them do so innocently without realizing but some of them know full well what they're wearing.
Also, I hadn't looked at this thread til now. You guys, I'm tearing up looking at all the cute things.

@justsuzie DS hated being swaddled so I was never able to really make any of those things work for us. It will really depend on your kiddo! I know some moms swear by swaddle things like that.
@lincbeesmom I am trying to put together a stupid registry and I really don't need anything because my best friend just had a baby and will be giving me most of her "equipment". I am trying to add an assortment of different priced items. Damn, this shit is harder than I thought.
@justsuzie DS used the swaddle me brand too. They were a lifesaver, he slept soooo much better with them. I was hesitant to use them when we first brought him home but like week 2 I got smart and tried it and it worked like a miracle. They have different sizing too so as your baby geiws you can get the size you need, I forgot when we eventually transitioned out of them but it was around when he was able to roll over.
@justsuzie DS loved being swaddled! And when he got bigger he was all about the sleep sacks. He used those the most and I highly recommend adding them to your list. There's a lot of brands. We mostly used Halo.
@justsuzie I used the ones on the left and actually ordered a new pack of 3 for this LO. They are pretty simple to figure out. There's a little pouch you slide them into and then just stick one of the wings to the inside Velcro, then repeat with the other while pulling tight. Kinda like a little burrito!
Resurrecting this thread because I bought my first piece of clothing for Clara! Nothing supf Andy since most stores have winter clothes out but fun anyway. I put it in a spoiler because I'm on mobile and I'm not sure how big the picture will be.
I posted a few nights ago that I bought a few things from Carter's on clearance, finally snapped some pics. Here's my fav, it will probably be her coming home outfit. We brought home DS in a sleeper too.
