I’m wondering what you ladies from colder climates are doing about winter gear as your tummy expands.
A decent parka costs between $200-$500 and I can’t justify spending that right now. I tried buying an old navy frost free jacket, but I may as well not have had a coat on in any weather below 0f. I layer and can still zip up my current parka for now, but it’s not going to last much longer. There’s a thrift store here but only one so they are unlikely to have anything.
Any advice for affordable options in very cold climates (read 0F - 40/50 below).
I also more generally, wonder how people are planning their wardrobes for a growing tummy without buying all new clothes that probably won’t fit next winter/spring.
This seems like a great thing to talk about on the Product Spotlight thread started this week related to maternity clothes. I'm going to respond there with what I bought.
My coats are pretty big, but my boss offered to lend me a coat if needed. Original plan was to borrow my husband's coat since he drives BUT I don't want to wear a camo and orange coat ....
I think my issue might be closer to end of winter {March-ish} but I'm also hoping I'll get this pregnancy heat people speak of.
Side note: I have maternity tank top and I'm getting another because it's amazing! It's longer, so you can have more wear of your shirts for longer.
