Confession: I HATE "A Christmas Story." Everyone is so shrill in that movie and they all annoy the heck out of me. I can't even stand to watch it. Yet DH gets me to watch it every year...and then I'm reminded again of how much I hate it.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year, but I'm just so ready for it to be over. I'm not prepared and don't have the energy to care. I still have so much to do to get ready for this baby. If it wasn't for DS I think I'd suggest skipping it this year.
Haha, I have already watched "A Muppet's Christmas Carol" twice, @egirl1025! And "Love Actually" is next on my list. It's my favorite! I approve of your taste in Christmas movies!!
@egirl1025 I'm all about Muppet's Christmas Carol, but not sure if this is a FFFC or UO, but I think Love Actually is the worst. I've tried several years in a row and I just hate all the characters and storyline.
I haven't seen A Christmas Story.. but I don't like the Home Alone movies anymore. They play way too much on TV and my siblings loved them when we were all growing up so they were on all.the.time.
I've been up since 3am and DD skipped her morning nap. I have zero shame about leaving the TV on for her so I can at least shut my eyes on the couch and be sort of left alone.
I’m supposed to be working, but I’m laying in bed watching the second season of The Crown instead. My backups are activated and I’m supposed to be working on projects. Laptop is open to appear as if I’m online and doing things. I run at 90 mph every other day of my life and finally hit a wall for the past two days. Oh well!
My co-worker felt the need to share about her "friends with benefits" relationship with a man who has 10 children by 9 different women. 6 of whom are between 2 weeks and a month apart in age because he got "tricked" by 6 girls in a pregnancy pact. Oh, and he doesnt pay child support. She's paying for him to go on vacation with her. I'm totally judging and giving alllll the side-eye. I don't know how I contained all the snark.
I love about 99% of all Christmas movies... but I can't CANNOT stand It's a Wonderful Life. I don't even feel bad about it. I don't like. And also, Die Hard and Love actually are just movies that happen around Christmas time. I like both movies but neither of them give me the Christmas movie feeling.
I just used my sick kid as an excuse to get out of going to a one year old's birthday party that I didn't want to go to to begin with. Obviously I'm not happy that DS is sick, but if he's going to be sick this is the perfect timing.
@supercoolstephy I freaking HATE It’s a Wonderful Life. Every time someone says the one line, you know which one I’m talking about... I want to tear my hair out, it makes me irrationally angry. Even more so when pregnant.
Re: FFFCC
@cyanope I also detest that movie. It is just creepy and weird! Give me "Love Actually" or "A Muppet's Christmas Carol" anyday!
