I know we give little updates on how we're feeling in our ticket change posts. But I'm curious how everyone is feeling now that we are either past/ or nearing the halfway point.
Feeling pretty good! I have some energy, which is nice. I fully expect it to change any day now though!
Oh my gosh, something that’s been happening to me in the last week or so... I wake up SO sweaty in the middle of the night. But I can’t sleep without covers because I am freezing.
But even if it’s a nap, I am soaked when I wake up. It makes me feel gross and uncomfortable. Thanks hormones!!
22w here. My biggest symptom these days is random tailbone pain. I'll be fine working out/lifting/spin bike but then will like get off the couch to walk and random has pain or need to like limp.
Tiiiiired. By 7pm I always feel so tired. And in the mornings I either don't wanna wake up, or I feel like I need a nap like 2 hours after I get up. I had energy in the first trimester. Much less in the 2nd.
Tailbone pain has decreased a good amount, but still hurts when I go to stand and pressure comes off it.
***TMI*** I started taking stool softeners (thanks to labor with DS!) Bc everytime I'd go, it'd be like a razor slicing me and bleed. I never thought this would be something I'd have to deal with, lol. So much better now since taking them.
I am feeling a lot better than first tri, but my energy levels are still below where I would like. One thing that is very different about this pregnancy than my first is that I have rhinitis, and am constantly sneezing and blowing my nose like I have a cold. It is maddening. My husband thinks it's funny, because he can call me a Bajoran (you get nerd points if you know why).
Generally feeling good. Little tired, constipated, heartburn (when I forget the omeprazole), and rhinitis. Fairly new is discomfort in my pelvis. Just feels heavy - can’t describe it better. Every bit is worth having babies at the end!
I've been having a lot of cramping and I had some spotting when wiping on Friday. Because I have placenta previa this made me nervous but call in to dr made me feel better. And yes to the heartburn. I wake up several times a night with it.
My major complaint is soreness in general, but especially in my hips, thighs, and groin area. 21 weeks and I'm already waddling! I have some lower back pain when laying down as well.
My appetite has been relatively normal throughout most of this pregnancy, with the exception of some very mild nausea in the 1st trimester. But holy cow, now I am STARVING all of the time! I think it started around Thanksgiving. I will eat until I am full and then feel hungry again less than an hour later! And the random cravings have been kicking in big time.
@mikkimikey I’m not having the night sweat symptom right now, but I did first trimester and I do every time post partum. With my first baby I didn’t know if I was waking up soaked in breast milk or sweat (sexy!!) but now I know it’s sweat. Lovely.

I am so tired all the time! I’m also dealing with the congestion, which I think contributes to my headaches! My other pain issue is that I’ve been having menstraul like cramping that comes and goes.
@g_amoss they're letting you take omeprazole! I'm jealous Post nasal drip and congestion. Heartburn. I've been feeling sick lately, like all over aches.
23+2 Braxton hicks all day every day. Libido = zero. Sciatica pain comes and goes a few days a week. Heartburn, but it seems to be pretty well controlled by no tomato or spicy products after lunch and papaya enzymes if I mess up. Boob achiness is dissipating, finally also lots and lots of baby movement so thats nice.
DH(27) + Me (27) = 1/14 Baby #1: Aug. 2016 Baby #2: April 1st, 2018
My tailbone is freaking killing me! Other than that no major symptoms. I’ve had a severe sore throat since Wednesday which has been a lot of fun, not pregnancy related although it does limit my over the counter options.
I mentioned this elsewhere, but still dealing with the dampness.
Me (33). DH (37). DD (2.2012). MCs x4. After 4 years & 7 months, due 4.2018!
Oh god, the tailbone pain! And I have horrible pain in my hips/hip flexors if I have to sit on a hard surface for too long. Between the 3+ hour flights on Spirit Airlines this weekend (who, in a bid to make their seats look bigger, apparently opted to not install any seat cushions) and the wedding ceremony and reception that had plastic folding chairs, I feel like an old lady that can barely walk. It’s so awful!
Omg I forgot about my boobs. My nipples seem to have fallen off and been replaced by purple baby carrots. And their replacements are soooo sensitive. Have to let them air dry, towels are not my friend.
@kmalls plane seats are the worst! I’ve decided to not judge at all this season because I can’t stand the though of sitting on a plane every weekend.

Heartburn. I've been fighting a cold that just won't go away. Other than that no real pregnancy system. Just feeling the little thing flip-flopping away all day long.
I am in the same boat as @dirtyboots with my sciatica nerve pain. then just heartburn while I sleep and hip pain. I am trying to stay positive but my sciatica is literally miserable going down my entire leg even coming around to the front of my leg.
@sunshine27shy I'm with you on the sciatica! I got an exercise ball for my work chair and it's made a huge difference. Now my back is fine as long as I don't overdo it, but when I traveled for the holidays and didn't have my ball it immediately flared back up worse than ever. I highly recommend getting one to help with that!
Holy F. I made the mistake of tapering off and stopping my diclegis last week. Huge mistake. Originally I thought it was a stomach bug but now I’m convinced it was lack of medicine. I was violently ill Thursday and Saturday. It was awful! Need less to say I went back on it and thankfully feel better. Silly me for thinking at 21 weeks I wouldnt Be as sick! Anyone try to come off it?
Ugh insomnia has been awful. I work 13 hr night shifts so I should be sleeping during the day before my shift starts at 7am. The past couple of weeks my body straight up refuses to sleep during the day. Ive tried everything besides meds. Going into my shift tonight with literally zero sleep Any other night shifters or people with insomnia recently?
does anyone still experience menstrual cramps? Im 21 weeks and for the past 2/3 weeks I have short, but intense dull cramps through out the day. I dont have placenta previa, my AS showed my placenta far out of the way, but I don have marginal chord insertion and I don't think its associated with that. Also, I get a pain in my side when I walk around the city to grab lunch. Feels like side stitch.
@MrsMassimilla, I have been having cramping that feels exactly like menstraul cramps. It’s very different from my RLP. I didn’t have the cramping with my first, but it seems to be aggravated when I’m doing a lot of lifting of stuff.
I feel like a run down hag most days. I want my energy back! Even the days I do feel decent I only get in a bit of activity before my body is like "you're silly. Here's some exhaustion and cramps. Go lay down"
@btm013 I'm still taking Diclegis. I went a few days without taking it and started getting nauseous again, so I'm back on it full time.
Biggest symptoms are: nausea, trouble falling asleep (I think it's because he gets active at night), and leaking boobs (I almost couldn't bring myself to type that. ugh). Oh and can't forget peeing a little when I sneeze!
Anyone with constipation, if you come down with a sinus infection and the prescribe augmentin, that may take care of the constipation lol! I am finally over the feeling of being kicked in the face by a Clydesdale, but if I even remotely begin to feel a tummy rumble I have to find a bathroom ASAP!! I’ve been increasing probiotics and drinking lots of kombucha this week!!
@btm013 I stopped taking diclegis about a week before thanksgiving. I had stopped at about the same point in my last pregnancy—so when I ran out I decided not to refill. It seemed like it took a couple days to adjust, but now I’m good aside from the occasional nausea.
21 weeks here and thankfully I don’t really have many symptoms other then a wooshing heartbeat sound in my ears. It happens when I am laying down at night and when I first wake up in the morning. I experienced difficulties with Sciatica on and off before I was pregnant but haven’t had any flair ups yet (serious knock on wood). My energy is pretty good throughout the day I just get tired really early at night. I’m so thankful Second trimester seems to be so much better then the first!
@allowachick - it’s actually on my OB’s approved list! Just the OTC strength (20 mg I think). It’s made life much more tolerable! Can’t hurt to ask your OB.
Ok so exhaustion has been an ongoing symptom this whole pregnancy - having a 2 year old when you are pregnant is no joke! Im 20 weeks (half way there!! Yay) and the heartburn has finally reared its ugly head! My sciatica is starting too - really keeping my fingers crossed it's not as bad this time
I’m having some BH contractions and they suck! I also feel like someone kicked me in the crotch which makes me feel so sexy! I have this thing going on where my lower abdomen is sore and achey. INSOMNIA like a mother!! I have to sleep sitting up because of indigenstion but I am trying to eat earlier. The only problem is starving in the middle of the night
I'm 22+3 today. I have to say my symptoms are getting worse.
I'm snoring like a train apparently! Haha! I have to wear these nasal strips which help so much. I wake my partner and I up during the night. My snoring makes me jump during the night too.
Bloody nose/lost of crust all up in there (Sorry. It's gross, I know, but I feel I need to be honest!)
Discharge! (Again, I'm sorry.)
Sore back.
My attitude sucks and my emotions are reckless. I cried because my partner didn't get me a Mac Donald's the other night. I ate a little cheese sandwich instead so he would feel bad. (He didn't!) I have no patience with anyone or anything either.
Constantly need to pee.
Nausea only. I had nausea with vomiting until 12 weeks I think. Now it's back.
I'm soooooo tired. ALL THE TIME!
So, not really that much going on at the moment....
