Sono showed 2 weeks behind

Went in for my first sono thinking I was 9w2d based off the date they gave me from my LMP. Ultrasound dated me 7w3d. My cycle follows a somewhat regular pattern, I know when to expect it based off a 28 day cycle but it's not uncommon for it to come 7 days early to 13 days late. Sonographer said I just ovulated later and it's not uncommon to be off by 2 weeks. My thing is I got my BFP on Sept 19 which is about 4 days after the day they're saying conception occurred which I know is not possible. I'm very confused on my dates, at my next visit I plan to ask about it but in the meantime I wanted to see if anyone had this happen. Where they were 2 weeks off and everything ended up being okay? They said the baby looks good and has a healthy hb of 153 so that's very encouraging.

Hi there! I know you haven't participated much yet here so I encourage you to read the "read first" thread.  This is a fairly common thing LMP is not always very accurate since it does not take in to account late ovulation or implantation.  Both of my pregnancies have had this happen. I was over a week behind in my first and everything was fine 

edited to add also indivual posts like this aren't super great because they can be buries rather quickly. I highly suggest checking out the weekly appointments, questions, symptoms and randoms threads as well so you can see other shared experiences too

not a problem !! also that heart beat is very very good! Our US tech said they just want to see over 100 so I would imagine everything is okay

I agree with @lindsayleigh1989 that the HB is super strong!  FX for a healthy pregnancy, keep us posted   And yes, read the intro threads and do a lot of lurking   We have some great mommas in this group!
