  • @suchaglencoco I read the book. You’ll cry.
  • @mileswithmyles I love musicals (and plays for that matter), but I don’t know the names of people. Since I live near-ish to NYC (and used to live in NYC), I get to see quite a few Broadway shows each year. I always ask to see a show for my birthday.

That is awesome someone donated the money so you could hear him sing that! I hope you enjoyed Something Rotten! I saw it with Christian Borle as Shakespeare (only know his name bc he was marrjed to the lead in Younger ha).

  • @silverhope we go to NYC in 2 weeks and are going to see him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
  • @mileswithmyles awesome! I haven’t seen that one yet. If you have other free time, you can get cheap Broadway tix from TKTS in Time Square. NYC is so pretty over the holidays. I hope you have the best time! The window displays and holiday markets are so cute.

  • @mileswithmyles have so much fun! It will be a beautiful (cold but beautiful) time to go! We used to go to NYC yearly before DS. I’m sure that will be a fun musical! The last one we went to in NYC was Waitress and I loved it. Huge Sara Barellies fan. You should check out Ellen’s Stardust diner- great singers there often doing pieces from musicals!
  • @lincbeesmom I was just talking to my sister who has an almost 4 year old about DS's (he's 2.5) craziness lately and she said be prepared, 3 is worse! But I think once they get past the 3's I think there is light ;)
  • Me and DS visited my aunt this weekend, she has 2 cats and my cat allergies we're out of control! I'm so glad we came home tonight so I didn't have to medicate myself again.

    I'm finding 4 to be harder than 3. :(
  • I’m not sure if this is just a fluke but yesterday my 2yo was waaaay harder than my 3.5 (4 in March). Or maybe it’s just that my older has always been hard and my younger does have mellow phases sometimes.

I am so beyond mad at DH but I'm not sure if I'm being reasonable. He has been sick with a cold or allergies so beginning Friday night his snoring was so bad it was resonating around the house and I could not sleep. I was nice and went and slept out on the couch which is not comfortable so I slept horribly and got little sleep. I also let him sleep as long as he wanted because I knew he felt bad. Last night I asked him before bed if he took cold medicine and he said no. So I said okay then if you wake me up snoring again I'm going to ask you to go on the couch. Well guess what he woke me up with the same horrible snoring. I asked him to go out on the couch which he did but just came barreling in at 7:30 and demanded he sleep back in the bed. Well that woke me up abruptly and the dogs who wanted out so now that they're up, I'm up. This is all compounded on my inability to fall back asleep quickly when woken up at night which is a pregnancy thing. I've spent all morning crying out of rage and lack of sleep. I don't know if I'm being insensitive to his being sick or not.

@bwow615 I'm allergic to cats too. I found out after getting hives when one scratched me when I was 5 :D  I'm glad you are away from the puffy-eyed, runny-nose inducing fur balls (so cute, but so many sniffles).

@charlestonchew I get really emotional and upset when I am overly tired. And adding in pregnancy hormones, I would cry too. I think since you slept one night on the couch, it was more than fair for him to do his stint on the couch. You need sleep for you and the LO, so he should accommodate a night on the couch even if sick. I hope he gets well soon for both of your sakes, but I think switching off couch nights is more than fair.

  • @ivyvines6 oh hell no. The toddler is allergic to tomatoes and really any acidic food gives him a horrible tummy ache and diahrrea so I would be livid if some bitch was shaming me from protecting my child's wellbeing if I didn't give him, like, ketchup. So sorry she was horrible.
  • @charlestonchew I would be upset and I think you have the right to be. Why wouldn't he just take cold medicine? Makes zero sense.

I need help making a very expensive decision. Would you go to a concert when the babies are 2.5 months old? Wouldn’t spend the night anywhere just be gone for a couple hours?

    Eta: it’d be June 28th

  • I don’t see how her initial post was flagged instantly and her getting a warning... Then again we’ll never know if she got a warning or not.
  • All I said was bye Felicia....

What about driving for 5 hours with aforementioned 2 month olds?

OH! I also didn't see that post!!!
TB isn't working on my phone (**anyone else having this issue???**) so I made DH bring me the laptop so I could see why it got shut down.

ETA- I can pull up TB's bmb page, but whenever I click on a thread, nothing happens.
