So I was going to bitch about Amazon...the baby monitor we ordered arrived defective, but I couldn't do a straight exchange because the seller wasn't Amazon. But I had used my completion discount so I contacted them because I'm not losing out on that 15% off (which was only $15 but shhh I'm cheap/it's the principal of the thing! lol). The girl told me she'd add a $15 credit to my account (which can only be used on things sold by Amazon aka not the baby monitor, but I'll use it some day). But the credit didn't get added, and instead, she issued a gift card for one of the other things purchased in that order that amounted to $11.03.
Sooo I chatted again and got the credit added...and they didn't take away the $11.03 gift card. Woooo, being a complainer has paid off! Hahaha.
@MJDsquared funny that you post that today, because I've been an Amazon complainer today too. My dad (on behalf of my grandmother) sent me a $250 Amazon gift card so I could buy my double stroller/additional registry items we still need. I went to redeem the card and got an error message saying the card was invalid (not that it was used, but that it didn't exist). I've now got an additional $15 credited to my account, and supposedly the new card is on its way (we'll see...customer service kept telling me the order got delayed in shipment, but I kept telling them I was actually holding the card...so who the hell knows what's going on).
I've had problems with Amazon offering one-day shipping and then lo and behold the item is delayed. I don't need the one-day shipping in the first place, but when I complain I get another month of prime for free. But seriously Amazon, if you can't follow through, don't offer it up!
@MJDsquared I'm still waiting on a 40.00 refund from Amazon from 3 years ago. Great job at getting more! My husband always gets on to me about complaining, but it sometimes pays off. Not with Amazon, I hate them and csnceled my prime a year ago. I order some newborn cloth diapers a week ago and still waiting on them to be shipped. Hopfully you get better working monitor this time around.
3:30 AM fire alarm. When it's almost freezing outside. Needless to say, DD was less than thrilled, and suprisingly LO was not a fan either (THAT'S how loud our building''s alarm is. It woke up my unborn child). And yes, I had just fallen asleep after waking up at 2 to pee...booo
Since we are on an Amazon rant. I’m pretty bummed that as of Dec 1 of this year they no longer will be offering Amazon Fresh in our area. UGHH I was counting on that for the winter time after Addie came home. Lol oh well
@ShyTonia Do any of your local grocery chains have a pick-up option? There are a few here that will get all your groceries for you for like 4 or 5 extra bucks (you put in your order online) and then you just pull up to the fire lane at the store and pick it all up a few hours later! I don't even have a baby yet and I've been doing it for years
I'm going to work for a training day today, and I dreamt last night that I had the baby and forgot to tell my management so I was trying to figure out if they'd be pissed if I just brought her in the Ergo and brought a bassinet haha I was also REALLY excited to put on my pre-pregnancy jeans... Cause... y'know... that's gonna happen within days of delivery
@elcd458 Thank you!!!! I just started looking into one and created an account for online ordering! I’m so freaking excited!!! Gosh forbid I send DH to the store he’ll come home with like 3 bags and somehow spent 300$. Lmfao. At least he tries. So this is perfect I can pick everything out and he can just pick it up! What a life saver. I originally started the home delivery groceries months ago because of planters fascitiis developing and to get used to it, so spoiled now. Haha
@blueskies17@Marley629 yeahhhh....my maternity jeans that I wear literally EVERY DAY (because they're the only ones that still fit besides leggings) have been getting uncomfortable the past few weeks. It's gotten to where I wear pj pants around the house and only put on real pants when I go out this is terrible.
I am having more of an issue with tops! It is finally chilly here, but I have only 1 maternity sweater and 3 (lightweight) long-sleeved maternity tops. I can't close my coat at this point. I do have several open-front cardigans I can wear, but I may be doing laundry pretty often if it stays cold.

@cait5413 I'm the same. My maternity pants still fit, but I'm out of tops that are long enough to cover the bump. I always wore fitted tops pre-pregnancy, and I guess I should have bought more maternity tops (not just bottoms) along the way. I really wish I had more loose, flowy options at this point!
