Ages (you and SO): 36 and 39

How many months have you been TTC? Tried for 3 months last year. DH has anxiety and it got the best of him at that point. We had to take a step back for mental health. So this is us trying again for #1. 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV, OPK's, temping. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We live in Ohio, and have two cats we completely adore. I read chick lit voraciously, sew, and play the flute. I'm obsessed with Food Network and I work as a health sciences librarian.

How many months have you been TTC? We are benched until January, so i hope you don't mind me hanging out until then

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Right now, trying to get the hang of charting, temps, OPK's, etc.  before it's go time.  Also using the next two months to try and clean up my diet and be a little healthier

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)  We live in SW Michigan, and have two dogs (basenjis) and a 16 month old son.  My husband and i both work as product designers.  Because my son was an emergency c-section, we were advised to wait 18 months before trying again.  I used to be big into distance running, but its hard to find the time with work and everything.  I love travel, baking, 80's rock, and pretending that i am going to solve crimes after binge watching shows on netflix.

@catlady2015 I love Food Network too.  I live in OK and Pioneer Woman is like Beatles famous here!  I haven't made it to her store yet because it's about 3.5 hours away from me.  I need to make that happen soon.

@jengibre_zorro Give us your clean eating tips!  I'm trying my hardest to eat as clean as possible in hopes of knocking off a few more lbs before getting KU and also just generally feeling better and keeping my hormones as balanced as possible.  I live in a small town so I rely heavily on Thrive Market, Hello Fresh, Sun Basket and Daily Harvest.  The nearest Trader Joe's and Whole Foods is a 1.5 hour drive

@jellybean0110 we just had a trader joes open a couple weeks ago, and it's like the biggest thing that has ever happened.  My biggest tip is this book i got called the fresh and green kitchen, and it's a cook book that puts veggies as the focus of the meal, rather than a side dish.  So, you can still eat your favorites, it's just more veggie focused (i.e. greens on pizza, beets in pasta or hamburgers, homemade veggie fried rice).  We also do a CSA in the spring-fall, but ours just ended, so we're just slowly eating through our hoard of onions, garlic, potatoes and squash.

I'm pre-diabetic, so i just fall apart when i have too much sugar, which is basically all anyone eats in November & December, so i am just trying to avoid all the pies and cookies! (easier said than done, right??)

@kobrien827 - they're both domestic shorthairs (rescue kitties!) One is a diluted tortoiseshell and the other is a diluted calico. I love tuxedo kitties!

@jengibre_zorro Totally breaking even! I ate really well yesterday then went home and ate a whole bag of Swedish fish so I'm in the same boat as you! Good luck

@catlady2015 Hey, we're twinsies! I'm also 36, also trying for #1, also have two kitties, and also play the flute. Welcome! I had a calico kitty growing up, and love that coloring. Currently we have one kitty who looks like a russian blue and another black, long-hair cat. Both are rescues.

@jengibre_zorro Welcome! My son was also born via emergency c-section, such a scary experience. Wishing you lots of luck! I’ve also been trying to eat a little bit cleaner. I recently bought a great cookbook called Make Ahead Paleo. Cutting out sugar and dairy feels impossible though!

How many months have you been TTC? This is our first!

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? We tracked BBT & CM & cervix position most of her last cycle even though she was on birth control so we'd be used to it and know more about what we were getting into (I help her track). So now we're tracking with a bit more knowledge, which is good because we're probably only going to get one try this month with AI with our donor because we're still working on paperwork but she's on CD9.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm Hil, I'm a trans man, and my partner will be the one carrying (but she is much shyer than I am, so I'm the one on the boards and stuff). We live in eastern WA state, I'm a full time student working on my degree in english & art secondary education, & she's an illustrator and potter. We've got two cats and a dog but we're looking to get a second dog soon hopefully! We're both big ol' nerds

Hello! My S/O and I just decided to start trying. In my previous marriage 6 years ago, we tried and I had 4 miscarriages. I had genetic testing done and they didn't find much other than a positive mark for antibodies SS-A and SS-B which are markers for an autoimmune disorder called Sjögren's. That said, our specialist thought it wasn't the problem and thought it just might have been our particular combination. Regardless, my ex husband and I didn't work out (for reasons not relating to infertility) and now I am in a very happy and healthy relationship. I really want go try to have a baby with my S/O so I'm really hoping we can work it all out. I'm BBT charting and using OPK's. We're trying not yo stress too much. Here's go hoping for a rainbow baby.

How many months have you been TTC? Just started.  IUD removed last week.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Charting and I'm trying to get the hang of BBT.  We both started taking vitamins (prenatal for myself, multi for him) to get ready a couple months back.  Wanted to go NTNP but I have a tendency to plan so it's incredibly difficult just to go with the flow.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)  No kids.  One big dog who I love to pieces.  Very much looking forward to the holiday season and all of the joy and happiness (and hopefully rest) that it brings.

Hello Ladies! I am New I think? Been a member for 6 years, but took the last year off due to a loss... 
I am not really sure where I belong any more, so I am just going to start here... Thanks!

How many months have you been TTC? 

This is a hard answer, my piggy takes care of most of the explaining… But we were done trying to have another baby after our loss last year. Our final round of IVF and final embryos… We were just tapped out financially, emotionally, and spiritually.... We have both been working hard to move forward, and we decided to make some diet changes to help my PCOS symptoms, and began a KETO diet. I wanted to lose some weight and be more for my kiddos, well, it turns out that it can help regulate hormones and cause a return to normal cycling… So after 12 weeks and 30lbs, I had a natural cycle… And then ovulated… So we talked and decided to see if it would happen that we have another baby. We are knocking boots like normal, and just waiting to see if it happens… We don’t want to be too obsessed ab it happening, but would both be so happy if it did… Sorry I am rambling now…

Any way, I am just here for some support in the process, and so if I act crazy and symptom spot every month, you all can check me, not my husband! Lol Hope I am in the right place, and we will see what happens in the future!

I have 2 little boys, 3 and 5, from IVF, stay at home mom to a Navy husband, and love to drink coffee, wine, cook, and be with my family… No pets right now, but our life is chaotic at best!

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Opks, temp, PNV... I'm even trying raspberry leaf tea thru O this cycle... Basically everything! 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)

We are TTC for a third. We have a 5 yr old boy and 2 yr old girl. I'm a SAHM currently and DH works in IT. No pets currently but kids are begging us for a dog so that may happen soon.... It has to be a hypoallergenic breed though so if anyone has recommendations! Glad to be with you all on this crazy frustrating journey we call TTC. ☺️

How many months have you been TTC? 

29 months

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? 

I'm benched until January due to Lupron for my endometriosis. (any success story's are appreciated) Until then I'm just trying to control my pain and do everything I can to prepare. I also have PCOS and a blocked tube.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)

I have three cats: Dino, Tux, and Simba. I work as an in home nanny and I love it and the three kids I watch! I am also in Nursing school so I am pretty busy! I make Sims 4 videos for YouTube. it's kind of lame but I have fun! so excited to get to know you ladies!

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV, just started OPKs last month.

Ages (you and SO): I am 33 and DH is 41

How many months have you been TTC? 2 years now, Had mirena removed in Oct. of 2015, had m/c in Feb of 2016 and nothing since then.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Im on metformin and took clomid for the first time this month, also taking PNV, temping and checking other signs. Sex every other day during FW.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have 2 young boys and have been trying for our 3rd. I know I'm lucky to have the 2 children that we have but we do not feel that our family is complete which is why we are trying for #3. We have made the decision to not go farther than clomid though, no IVF or IUI. We have 5 months left on clomid (if this cycle doesn't work out) to see if something will happen. Ive been on this board before but took a hiatus because we took a break from trying and i needed to just not think about things. I work full time and both boys will be starting up sports again in the spring so it will be a busy time but I'm so thankful for it and do not mind it at all. I love photography and taking pictures for family and friends. I also love to bake.

I didn't see a newbie thread for the week of 11/13 so I posted here. Hope that is ok!
