@nakoehl according to my lmp I should be 9 weeks 3 days. According to ultrasounds i am 7 weeks as of yesterday. My ob seems to think that everything is on point with my ultrasounds, my multiple hcg levels and how my symptoms have been progressing. I got my first positive on 9/29, a day after my missed period. It makes me a little crazy thinking about it, but for now I’m going with it. Today I’m pregnant.
@dashaina@kbrown2385@twelvetwosomeonenew Thanks for the encouragement! Though I should have been more clear according to LMP I am measuring 2.5 weeks behind. According to when I absolutely know I was pregnant I am at least measuring a week behind.
Also my doctors office still hasn't called me back and the u/s tech didn't say anything about the measurements just that the heart beat was fine. Though she had to do the scan three times to get one that showed a beat above 71.
I am going to try and stop freaking out and thinking about it. I'll call my doctors office again tomorrow and see if I can get someone to actually talk to me this time. Ugh I thought I was past this point so to be told I'm back to the same time my last two losses happened I think has my anxiety in over drive!
@nakoehl I definitely think talking to someone knowledgeable at your office is the way to go. If they don't answer the phone or return your call, driver over there. Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself because your mental health /stress level is important as I'm sure you know and sometimes these doctors forget that we are human beings and have really complex emotions going all over the place during pg. If it was me, I'd camp out in the waiting room bugging the receptionist until a nurse or doctor or midwife took a few minutes to talk to me and answer my questions. Sending you positive vibes girlie!
Update: I was able to talk to the normal receptionist today that is actually very helpful and found out my doctor has been on vacation for the past week and will be back tomorrow. So the reason no one would call me back or anything is because he hasn't had a chance to look at my stuff yet. Hopefully he will look at it tomorrow and someone will give me a call. Why the lady yesterday couldn't have told me that so I wasn't freaking out that something was wrong... Grrrrr
@dashaina all the doctors near me are in the same place and share the same receptionists so not really lol. My actual doctor is the most recommended out of the three practicing in my town though and has been with me through both of my losses.
