I've seen a lot of people say they are having problems with login (or staying logged in). I haven't had any problems on mobile, but now I am super annoyed that I keep having to scroll past the big "we apologize" message on every page.

It’s been a looooong day. All day at work. I haven’t been able to pump for over 7 hours, I’ve been at the car service center for almost 2 hours and there is some lunatic walking around with clown music playing on his cell phone. Complete with a squeaky horn.
I may kill someone.

You guys I exist! I am one who has had issues logging in. Desktop or mobile, it wouldn't recognize I was logged in. I'm so happy to be back! Its been like 5 days!
In hour 12 of my second trip to the ER with MH. He was still having neck pain and having trouble urinating, so we've been here all night. I'm still in my clothes from yesterday. I have to leave in a half hour to go home and change and go to work, and I feel terrible about leaving him.

@jsnakehole Thinking of you both....I wish you could call in a substitute as it must be so hard to think about work right now. I hope y'all find out what is going on soon.
He's still at the ER. The preliminary read of his MRI isn't showing any signs of damage, so no explanation as to why he can't pee (and TMI get an erection). They're waiting for the neurologist to do the final read and then they'll release him. I feel terrible I didn't stay with him, but he insisted I go. I'm en route to work. I've had probably 12 hours of sleep in the past 72 hours. It's too late to get a sub now, but my AP said in the future to just take the day. It's nice working for normal administration.

It took until almost 11 today, but he's finally home. The MRI didn't show anything, so they're assuming the problems were probably caused by the trauma/maybe some mild swelling but nothing serious. He said his urination is already improving, so it may have just needed time. They recommended following up with a neurologist, which we will.
I am currently eating the first meal I've had since Sunday night at my desk, in my finally silent classroom. Luke warm pad Thai (yay rice noodles) has never tasted so good.

@jsnakehole I'm so glad that everything seems to be improving and you finally got a meal. Hope you can get some rest before tomorrow. My DH also does jujitsu, and it always worries me when I know their going to grapple after class. He's always getting injured in some way. He'll come home with black eyes, busted lip, mat burns...all kinds of stuff...Ugh. Hope your DH is back to normal soon... Did they clear him for work?
@jsnakehole so glad all is getting better with your H! Sleep well tonight, friend!! @nimmle hi! How did you get a $1 Uber ride?? And continuing to think warm thoughts for you! @lurvleybunchococonuts Yay for the celebration!
AFM, continuing to be a rough freaking week. I’m grumpy AF today. Coincidentally, I believe it is bc the other AF is in her way.
I did get to see my sister today at our rheum appt today! And I ate a delicious burnt end sandwich for lunch
@darkstar42 That is sooooo awkward. Ugh! I told my MIL a few weeks ago that we're trying, but thankfully she doesn't butt in. She had IF issues when conceiving MH and his brother so she knows better! Hope your MIL cools her jets soon and gives you guys some space!
Thanks, everyone! This is a great example of how supportive our community is. DH is on the mend- he'll be going back to school on Thursday, after a follow up at the neurologist tomorrow. We've been having a relaxing night, and we'll be heading to bed in fifteen minutes (after we finish an episode of Bob's Burgers). I'm looking forward to acupuncture tomorrow- hopefully the needles can fix how messed up my back is from sleeping in a chair last night.

@jsnakehole What a shitastic few days! Glad your H is feeling better. Hope y'all are able to get some much needed rest tonight. What great timing to have an acupuncture appointment!
@jrm_14 Sorry your bad week is continuing. Can you do anything to treat yourself and lift your spirits a bit?
@darkstar42 I guess that's sweet in a way. Better than her sending old wives tales about how easy getting pregnant should be. Do you think she's trying to be supportive or that she doesn't think you've done the research?
@SkilledSailor I think she's trying to be helpful, and she is someone who is very knowledgeable about healthcare in general, but she's WAY behind me on knowledge about ttc and IF. MH has often asked his parents for help researching medical stuff he's dealt with in the past, so I think their inclination is to keep doing that. But, for example, she sent an article basically just saying that progesterone is used for luteal phase support, especially in cases of RPL (which I have thankfully not experienced). I'm like, yeah, I know, I'm literally reading meta-analyses of fifty years worth of medical research on luteal phase use of progesterone after IUIs.
@darkstart42 Lol, I remember as a kid someone giving me a "bible" (really easy to read kiddie Biblical story book that was more pictures than words) when my mom already has us doing our bible studies in a KJV The thought was there, but was like oh... uhh... here toddler brother someone got you a book! Maybe send back to her the current studies you're reading and ask her if she has any opinions or thoughts on the information? If she sees the level of your own research she might take the hint that you got this, or actually be able to provide more insight/helpful research? It is sweet that she's at least trying, so maybe you can just give some gentle guidance on what you could actually use help with? Although if it's anything like my MIL she'd say something along the lines of, Oh I didn't read any of them, they just looked like information you might need. I'm far too busy to take the time to read.
@jrm_14 YAY at sister time! Was it a coincidence that you had appt's at the same time? Or do you plan them that way? Feel better soon!
@jsnakehole man you and YH are having a rough week! *hugs* hope you were able to get some great rest and relaxation last night and hopefully the rest of the week goes smoothly.

@jrm_14 $3 Uber pools during rush hour in NYC and a $2 off promo happening this week. Seriously, when I can get an Uber for less than I subway ride I am all over it.
@jsnakehole I hope you and YH got a lot of sleep last night and that he's continuing to feel better! @lurvleybunchococonuts Yeah, I might send her some of the research I'm reading. I'm trying to decide to what degree I'm willing to have a conversation about reproduction with MIL.
@darkstar42 bahaha I suppose that's a very good point. I likely would just turn bright red and hide in a closet if I attempted discussing fertility and reproduction with my MIL or even my mother!

@jsnakehole I'm glad YH is on the mend - I hope things continue to improve for him and you get some sleep!
@jrm_14 I was super grumpy yesterday as well - here's to hoping today is better!
@darkstar42 Yikes, does YH say anything to her when she does something like that?
My daughter came home from school on Friday with a small blister on her leg (which she doesn't know how she got, of course!) and MH had been the one changing the band-aid/putting polysporin over the weekend. Yesterday I did it and the blister/wound was like 6x the size it had started out and leaking all sorts of nasty so I took her into the clinic. She is on 10 days of antibiotics that have to be given every 6 hours which means middle of the night doses - I have sleep issues at the best of times but having to wake up at 2 to dose her means I likely won't be sleeping past 2am for the next 9 nights (especially if last night was any indication). And she was supposed to go to a Halloween camp this weekend with her Brownie troop but I don't think the first aider is going to want to wake up in the middle of the night to give meds so I'm going to have to tell her today she can't go - ugh!
@ajsanders-2 Haha that happens to me too. I just bundle up and eat my ice cream, weather be damned.
@elolin Oh no! Your poor LO! And poor you! I'd be so cranky doing that.
I totally forgot about going to fertility yoga with one of my BFFs tonight. I'm pretty excited about it. I've loved yoga for years but she's never done it. Obviously I'm not happy we're both struggling to get pregnant but it is nice to have a close friend who understands.
@SkilledSailor I've never heard of fertility yoga! That's pretty neat! **TW Kids - I have a few friends who struggle with IF, but I've never brought up my own issues with them because I have 2 kids (and they either have only 1 or haven't been successful yet) and I don't feel like I have the right to complain to them because I was so lucky with getting pregnant with my other two. End TW** I'm glad you have someone who you can relate to IRL - support systems are so important!
@quiltandknit Fertility yoga was good. I think it was Hatha yoga. The yoga itself wasn't at all demanding (very different from the ashtanga vinyasa style I normally do). The teacher was kind and it was a small class of five. The other three ladies had clearly formed a bond but were still welcoming of us and we all shared our TTC stories before getting started. More than anything it was a nice safe space. I particularly liked when the teacher said we were doing a balancing pose because when you do those you can't think of anything else or you might fall.
I'm watching Friends reruns this morning, and I just had the realization that now in my adult life, I am a total Monica... that used to be the ultimate insult in my circle of friends!!
