Before requesting admittance, please ask yourself if you have been a consistent poster, preferably for most of your pregnancy. If the 5 of us do not believe you have been active enough we will ask you to please start contributing on TB more to be added before the cutoff. A lot more personal information will be shared on FB and we want everyone to feel comfortable with who is allowed in. We don't want any creepers or lurkers.

I know there was some discussion on this, but how are you deciding if someone is active enough?  I definitely read more than I post, but I've been trying to post more.  Everyone here is so helpful and provides such great advice that I will be sad if everyone leaves and I can't go too!

KayLee77 Hey! We just wanted to let you (and other people that may feel the same way) know that it was the general consensus of the group as a whole that there needed to be a bar set for activity level so everyone felt comfortable with the move to Facebook. There is a lot more divulging of personal information there, so it's been said multiple time since this board opened up that a certain level of familiarity was preferred before moving off of TB. I think that is generally the case for most Bump to FB migrations when it comes to BMBs. One thing that was NOT offered to users on my last BMB was the opportunity to participate more on TB for a short period of time to earn that bit of familiarity needed for FB that may be lacking.

I hope you understand the method behind the madness. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Crap, I keep forgetting to change my email settings on FB.  My FB login info includes an @.edu email address I forgot the password to about 10 years ago   I'm coming to join you eventually, I promise!!

@elcd458 I don't think we need the email address you signed up with FB; once we send you the link to whatever email address you use, you will be prompted to sign into Facebook with your FB username and password and then you can join group that way

Just a reminder that we do have a time limit on joining the FB group. November 30th is the designated cutoff day.

If you've inquired and were encouraged to participate more, there's still plenty of time! If you've been putting it off closer to our due dates, this is just a friendly reminder! 

Again - we just want to reiterate that the "rules" set in place and agreed upon by most are there for a reason. It's not a personal attack on anyone and we hope that you all understand where the FB admins come from when responding to requests to join.

It was the general consensus on this board earlier on that we would only be admitting people who have been with us for the long haul. Perhaps if you participate like a mad woman and offer boatloads of support over these next 2 weeks before the cut off, the admins may consider allowing you in. Please make your best effort to participate on the board until then.

@jlemons-2 are you sure cause I feel as if it's not due to me been rejected to join the Facebook page as well and it seems I'm not the only one that has been rejected. As it is I can't deal with anymore rejection as I am alone through this pregnancy and was hoping for support.

I definitely second @jlemons-2 and would encourage you to participate here as much as you feel like. Everyone here was new once and we can all learn from each other and share experiences. I also think that the certain level of relative anonymity here can help people be more open.

On a side note, there seems to be kind of a mean girls vibe about this whole Facebook page thing and I wouldn't worry about hitting some magical number of posts to qualify.
