Brown discharge 12 days after IUI

My wife and I are on our first cycle of trying to get pregnant.  We are 12 days after our first IUI (using clomid and trigger shot) and she is experiencing brown spotting.  She has also been experiencing some cramping off and on for the last few days.  Any experience with this?  Does it sound like a period, or could it be bleeding from implantation?

On my full term pregnancy I had spotting around 12 days. It was a brown discharge that I only saw when I wiped and only showed up 1 morning. Hopefully it's a good sign.

With my last pregnancy, I had brown spotting and light cramping for a few days around 12-15 dpIUI. I thought it was AF starting, but RE said likely implantation. Best of luck!
