Aoparently the delivery truck with $11,000 in windows got into and accident on the way to my house... but I don't know if I believe the contractor they were supposed to start the end of July and are just getting here now. He has gave us a million excuses why he hasnt gotten here yet. They were sending another truck to pick up the windows from the first and I have no idea if they are broken or compromised: the worst part is DH is gone until Sunday night.
@crossfitbabybump Halfway here, too! Crazy to think. We are trying to finish painting a cabinet and then need to get some serious talking done about the nursery before the madness of the holidays and what not. We may be replacing carpet, have to strip wallpaper with nasty glue underneath, etc.
TW** I was pregnant when we first moved in a year ago, we basically put all of the baby stuff (crib, changing table, etc) in there and planned to get around to it within a couple of weeks of moving. After miscarrying we closed the door and I didn’t go in there for a long time. The smell in there is still a trigger for me, so that is an extra reason I would like to pull the carpet, get some fresh paint in there, etc. Doesn’t seem like too much— or at least seems like we still have plenty of time, but in essence once November hits the weeks are going to pass by quickly I think.
@chasingroygbiv - wow your story just brought tears to my eyes! But this rainbow baby is a blessing and I am so happy for you! half way there girl!! we got this!
We are going to finish the last little bit of trim in our nursery this weekend, since it's crap, rainy, and cold outside and we wanted to go pick pumpkins but that's not in our forecast! Then we'll lay the carpet and paint the dressers we got to match and it should be done! We need to hurry and get it done though, I have baby things and clothes starting to accumulate now and I have nowhere to put them yet, lol!
Random: I hate how slow the board gets on weekends. That's my only time to catch up during the busy season!! I suppose it has to slow down a bit so I can legitimately catch up, but I feel like I'm a day or five late on everything once I do. Boo! Also, I'm excited for HDBD to start picking up as those bellies start poppin'!
@mylovelittlelove I'm proud of you for what you are doing for your DD and sad for you because you're sad. That's such a sacrifice to make for your family.
I can't load any threads that have pictures. The app just crashes over and over. I have a bump picture in my Halloween "costume". It's a shirt that says "pumpkin smuggler". Teehee
@vflux33, @syssa-o, @gh515 and @heatherdubrow, thank you ladies so much for your kind words of support. Sorry for the late response to this! It's been a busy time for me and I haven't had much free time to bump. I really appreciate hearing your input and I agree with what each of you stated. Thank you for taking the time to reply to my whiny post lol. I was feeling so overwhelmed and negative at the time of writing it. Going to have an honest chat with my friend and tell her my true feelings on this. She deserves SO much more than I can really give for this wonderful time in her life. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with me, ladies!
Re: Weekly Randoms - Week of October 2
