I totally start it because today sucks. My son was diagnosed with hand foot mouth disease this morning. Poor guy is miserable and we can't go outside because of the heatwave and his high fever. (I usually bring him on long walk when he's under the weather). We are spending the day with Elmo
Our floor in our office is under construction for the next 3 weeks. That means I get to sit within a foot of an intern who happens to hum, sing to himself and make strange noises every once in a while...all while glancing over to see what i'm doing way too often. I knew I should have walked slower as the train was pulling up this AM, I was only 30 second away from missing it.
My bitch of the day: i have yet another raging headache. All i want to do is climb into bed but clearly can't bc it's 3:30, I'm working and then i have littles to worry about. Countdown to 7pm is on.
There was a rumored 'threat' at my son's high school. The administration says it's under control but the rumor mill has started running and things have been said that are pretty scary. Half of the kids left and parents are upset that things aren't being handled properly. I really don't know what to think. Just hope that whatever started all of this gets handled properly.
ETA: I have another bitch! I went shopping this weekend and could not find maternity clothes ANYWHERE!! The few places that had ONE rack of clothes didn't have any in my size! I finally ordered some online but really didn't want to. Hopefully they fit.
Add me to the headache list. I don't know if it's insufficient water intake (doing my best), low blood sugar (hard to believe because I'm eating carbs like it's a job), or hormonal but I keep getting them and it definitely makes a long day longer.

My OBs office told me the wrong day for my appt. I took a half day and my husband cancelled his college class to go. So pissed. It's actually tomorrow. I still have no symptoms and hate this day.

Today I filled out a request day off form for Halloween (which I normally don't work Tuesdays anyway). It was a "just in case you Someone to cover, I can't" sort of a thing. I have my daughters school Halloween party, and then trick-or-treating.
So he hems and haws about it and hasn't signed it yet because it's the "end of the month" and there are extra monthly reports to do.
Again, it's my day off ANYWAY. I was just doing this as a courtesy/heads up ... ::end rant::
Ugh, I have legit had a deep, painful, cystic zit every week of this pregnancy. Every time one heals, another one pops up! This is on top of the mega normal zits I'm getting. Normally I dab the cystic ones with Retin A and that stops them from sprouting, but I can't use it anymore now that I'm preggo
@Puddlewonderful same here! I look so gross, I seriously hate going anywhere because I don't want to show my face. They're 90% all over my chin, then other random ones around my nose, etc... They last for weeks if not more. I use Clean & Clear Persa Gel. It's the strongest OTC acne med. It's benzoyl peroxide. I used it my whole first pregnancy too. My back was HORRIBLE. H would rub it all on my back for me. It's the only thing that helps. And when I feel one coming on, because you always can, I try to wash my face 2-3x a day and I put the med on several times a day lol. I feel like if I didn't, it would be way worse than it gets (and it's usually pretty bad).
I also had a bitch of a headache today. Tylenol didn't touch it, so I made a heating pad out of beans and one of DH's socks for my head and eventually gave up and took a nap
Other bitch: my doctor called out sick and now they say they can't get me in until November with this particular doc, so now I'm waiting to hear from scheduling to see if any other doc can take me sooner ugh!
@dlammers I had the same problem. I spent Saturday hunting for maternity clothes and struck out. Got a couple basic tees at Kohls. Last pregnancy Target was my go to. Now I feel like their maternity selection is awful. I'm Going to have to make the drive to Motherhood or shop online.

I feel all of your pain about maternity clothes. I learned after my first pregnancy that I just have to order stuff online. Most places I have found have a tiny selection, and mostly in tiny sizes. I am built like a linebacker, which is awesome when I have to do something that requires strength, but sucks when trying on women's clothing.
Strangely enough, the largest selection of in-store maternity clothes I have run into recently is at Burlington Coat Factory. It really weirded me out, I had no idea they carried it at all.

I'm day late but I've got to get this off my chest. We have been planning for weeks to tell our parents about the baby at our family dinner on Sunday. We got personalized pic frames and put the u/s pic in there. Then, on Saturday night while I am peeling carrots for this damn dinner, my mom forwards me a pic and says "your step sister just sent this to us." It's a pic of their little girl standing next to a sign that says "I'm going to be a big sister in May 2018!!" She completely stole our thunder and she's due 4 weeks after me. I. Was. Livid. We still went through with the plan and my mom is beyond ecstatic bc I'm her only child. In the grand scheme I know it's not a huge deal....but, it just royally pissed me off that she happened to share her news less than 24 hours before we shared ours. Ok. Bitchfest over.
@Mattel No, she didn't know our plans, so it really was just a coincidence and not an intentional thing to hurt me or steal my thunder. At this point she still doesn't know we are also pregnant--will tell them after next weeks 12 wk us--so I can't be legit mad at her. But these hormones sure do make it easy for me to be irrationally mad

I am annoyed about my UTI and that I know the OB had the results on Thursday, but didn't call me about it until today.
And I should be in Germany on vacation right now, not at work grrr.
