Well I had my first run in with round ligament pain last night I think. I rolled over, I guess too quickly, from my back to my side, and got a horrible sharp pain on the right side of my lower abdomen. Only lasted a couple seconds, but Ouch!
@npkat I've had a few of those this past week too! Quick stabbing pains in the lower abdomen and groin areas to go along with the gas pain that was already there. Not fun!
I still haven't felt any of the "renewed energy" that The Bump app says we should be seeing in the second tri. Still feeling like a constipated sloth that doesn't know that sleep exists, but desperately wants it...

This is my life in a nutshell. Anxiously awaiting that day where I'm all, "yay! energy! well-being!" That day is still not today. (;
Am I the only one dealing with nosebleeds? Every night for the past week while washing my face I have gotten one. Super annoying, but I guess it's better than getting them while I'm at work!
@npkat RLP sucks!! I keep forgetting to grace before a sneeze then the soreness lasts throughout the day chasing after my son, namely picking him up when he goes into back-arching "Dont pick me up" mode.
On a different note: I have diaper rash and a yeastie. Thumbs down. Diaper rash sucks more than the yeastie.
Here’s a fun symptom: everything is so much more emotional than it would normally be if I wasn’t pregnant. Like my MIL pulling her usual crap instead of just being mildly annoying tonight... I’m all mad and irritated. Ugh. I’m just tired of the BS. Also if something is sad, it’s sob-worthy. I cry over commercials y’all.
More symptoms I suppose. I'm already leaking a little bit. But I guess that what happens when it's been less than a year from finishing breastfeeding. I am also low in my red blood cell count, I have low hemoglobin, and low hemocrit. Which I am assuming is because of the TW SCH bleeding for a few weeks END TW. My midwife said we will figure out a plan, but it stresses me out.
I’m going to sound really flighty, but... I think I just experienced my first ever Charlie horse. Sudden horrible pain in my calve that last about 15 seconds and had a good sized lump, then it was done, lump gone, but sore now. Charlie horse or should I be panicking about a DVT? Never felt that before!
@bb3vj3n, I had horrible gas pains the other night before bed. I walked around my house. And then just stretched in different positions. Getting down on my knees and putting my face to the ground so my butt was in the air relieved some of the pressure.
@mdfarmchick OMG so emotional. Everything makes me cry. My husband and I watched Wonder Woman the other night and when it was over he looked over at me and I was just silently sobbing and I looked at him and just said "WHY did [that] happen?? I don't like it!" lol
@bb3vj3n Definitely seconding @justkeeptrying's suggestion to get on the floor, butt in the air. Another option is to do some sun/moon (LIGHT) massaging over your belly. (Clockwise only - here's a link describing it: https://www.pumpstation.com/media/wysiwyg/PDF/TummyTrouble.pdf) It helps get things moving in your digestive tract...it's also great for constipation!
Also for everyone I can't recommend the book Infant Massage enough for every mama!! There are great tips for relieving colic and just generally connecting with your baby.
@bb3vj3n, it's times like this that I really appreciate being a SAHM. And appreciated that my office door at work had a lock on it...can't tell you how many times my coworkers COULD have seen me in awkward positions had that lock not been there!
Since you're working, I suggest walking a bit. It can help get the gas bubbles moving.
I've been feeling lots of twinges and pains today. It doesn't feel low like period cramps, it's higher up and more on the sides. I'm sure it's a mixture of muscles stretching and my not drinking enough water and lifting my 30 lb toddler and a long week but it still freaks me out a little! Anyone else?
@stlbuckeye132 I'm not having full on nose bleeds but (TMI) when I blow my nose at night it's bloody, every night, since I was ~ 7 weeks. But usually I'm cursing my bleeding gums at that time of day so I hardly notice anymore. Pregnancy gingivitis FTW!
@mdfarmchick@ksmwalters, definitely emotional here too! I watched Wonder Woman last night and couldn't stop crying. Watched a clip from Moana this afternoon, the scene where she restores the heart of Te Fiti, and was just bawling. It's weird because I usually never cry during movies.
@chasingroygbiv Definitely Charlie horse. I get them more frequently when I'm pregnant, and they almost always happen in the middle of the night. Drink extra water and eat some bananas.

love the suggestion- but I'm currently at work and although this may get me some relief - i don't think my colleagues would ever let me live that down
