I am trying not to freak out because my nausea has all of a sudden gotten much better. Never thought I would miss it but I am 9 weeks and spent all day worried that not feeling like I was going to throw up meant something was wrong. Last time i remember it peaking around week 9 but not really improving until week 13/14. First doc appt on Friday can't come soon enough.

I am going through this exact same thing. All nausea went away at 9 weeks. I went from throwing up 2-4 times a day to absolutely nothing. I am now 10 weeks 2 days and today is the first day that the nausea has returned. Idk how the baby is, my ultrasound was really inclusive, but I'll find out for sure by next Thursday. Best of luck to you as well. I understand your feelings and fear.
I'm 10+1 today and getting myself worried. I know each pregnancy is different but I'm worrying at my lack of symptoms. I have sore nipples, feel a little tired compared to usual and a little more hungry but the bloating feeling/ nauseous in the morning has totally gone. In fact I feel thinner than ever. Is this normal?
@knottie325f8c6b410d37a0 I had a few days like that around 10 weeks too. I even exclaimed to MH that I had my belt at my old setting! As you can see from the above posts, lots of ladies here are starting to feel better, and at 10 weeks the placenta is starting to take over hormone production, so it makes sense for symptoms to start subsiding. BTW, if you can, would you mind going back to The Knot and changing your username to something recognizable, so we can all get to know you/have an easier time tagging you? Don't forget to log off and then back in to make it take effect!

@magspence the thirst is the bane of my existence. Due to the increased about of blood in the body during pregnancy, our bodies NEED a ton more water, especially during these early weeks. A good rule of thumb is half your body weight in ounces every day. Unfortunately, morning sickness makes this challenging

I'm obsessive about being hydrated (not pregnant). I get headaches that quickly spiral to migraines if I don't stay hydrated and I've been pregnant and/or breastfeeding what feels like half my life at this point and both require maintaining maximum hydration. As a result, drinking water is a part of my daily routine and first trimester is SO HARD for me because I can't stick to my routine. If I drink too much, too fast I get sick, If i don't drink enough I get sick. The past two nights I've had awful headaches at nighttime because I couldn't keep up with my water intake during the day. So by nighttime I'm SO thirsty... and sick... lol

I've been super bloated lately and can only eat very small meals to keep the nausea down, but it is lessened the at 6w. But the boobs are supernsensitive and I'm in maternity clothes already at 8w!! Also been super tired all the time!

Exactly the same here. My nausea was just gone at 9 weeks and freaked me out as well beings I was sick with #1 until after 14 weeks! I have my first appointment Tuesday next week, I'll be 12 weeks. I swear the days are just creeping by.

Same here guys. One of my close friends just had a loss and now I'm paranoid. hope all of us have nothing to worry about!!
Anyone else wake up a million times in the night?? There doesn't seem to be any reason for it, but I'm waking up at least ten times a night. Like, wide awake all of a sudden out of nowhere. I roll over and fall asleep again immediately, thankfully. So it's not insomnia and it's not having to pee. It's just like my body can't stay asleep for more than 30 minutes at a time. This is not like me at all--I'm usually a comatose sleeper. I'm wondering if it's connected to my VERY vivid dreams. Maybe they energize me into waking up?

Yesss. Thankfully it didn't last long. A week maybe 2. But during that time I was zombie mom during the day. Hope it passes quick!

add me to the frequent wake up crew! It's exhausting. I do get actual insomnia about once a week or so. This week was monday, up from 1am until I went to work. zombie mode.
@mdwiny that's my life right now too, but it's mostly because my 15 month old thinks he's a newborn and wakes up all the damn time, so I feel your pain. Bright side: if this keeps up, transitioning to the sleep deprivation of the newborn period will be a piece of cake (which, incidentally, sounds amazing right now).

I am 10 weeks 2 day. I also wake up frequently during the night. I can sometimes easily get back to sleep. I mostly just feel tired during the day. No nausea so I guess I'm lucky. Hoping everyone suffering nausea feels better soon!
For the love of Pete my bloat/excess belly from #2 is ridiculous. If I'm not actively sucking my belly in I look how I did at 20 weeks with my 1st
Omg yes! I found a pic of my bump at like 15 weeks with my DD and it was so petite and cute. Now I'm looking at this belly and like "WTF, I look awful".
Oh man. I am definitely on team "bloat". I actually lied to someone about how far along I was today just to make myself feel better. Haha. (someone I won't see again after a few more weeks so she won't know the difference) It just feels so ridiculous. I've been wearing maternity pants for weeks and look about 5 months pregnant I swear. I totally let it all out when I'm not around people that I know. Haha. Also the nausea... Today was a bit better. I thought some of it might be because of all the forest fire smoke in my area but that's been gone for a few days and it hasn't been much better. The only nice thing about having symptoms is that when I spotted a bit yesterday it was easier to calm myself down. (seeing a heartbeat with the bedside ultrasound at the ER also helped)
I'm on team blump too. I look like I did at 5 or 6 months pregnant with DS. It's insane and I feel fairly gross and it's very hard to hide so I'm havin to spill the beans way earlier than I'd like. The stuffy nose and mouth breathing is super attractive as well.
Still exhausted. MS slightly better but not gone at all. Suffering at least 2-3 times a day rather than all day though so I guess that's something.
Ugh, the dreams are no joke. I had a dream I made out with a co-worker and my husband walked in on us. I was SO horrified when I woke up. I am very against cheating in relationships, so the whole thing made me sick to my stomach. Not a nice way to wake up in the morning.
I am rocking the blump as well. Nothing fits - I am wearing a flowy maternity shirt today Most of my old maternity clothes are for summer months so it looks like I'll be doing some shopping very soon.
Crazy vivid dreams too. All mine are about death though. It is so disturbing. I woke in the middle of the night crying twice last week.
I have the crazy dreams too. I texted my sister a whole dream yesterday because it involved her. Before I was pregnant I was pretty good about realizing I was dreaming when bad stuff went on, but now I am having difficulty doing so, no matter how weird the situation is....like driving through the third story of a building.
I am also team bloat. Look like I did at 20 weeks with my daughter. I asked my hubbie if I could bust out my maternity work clothes last night. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow.

I'm feeling more nauseous now at 8 weeks but still haven't actually thrown up. Today might be the day though lol. I generally feel like I'm about to get the flu - aches all over, exhausted, queasy and really sensitive to both being too cold or too warm. I just want to sleep.
The blump is real. I'm only 10+3 and I look very obviously pregnant, even if I suck it in as best I can. I haven't gained any weight yet so I know it's just the pregnancy and not that I'm getting fat(ter). But I'm still irrationally embarrassed to be so big already.
@ngolimento Haha, mine last night involved John Cena. Not sure where that came from but I'm not complaining. At least it wasn't about someone I knew or had a shot with. I didn't want to wake up haha.
@ngolimento i love inappropriate dreams haha. I had one about A-rod the other night which is weird bc I don't find him all that attractive in real life but in my dreams, damn. He's abs were on point!

Hah! Don't get me wrong, I am all about the steamy dreams, just not ones of someone I have to look at every day and ask myself "WTF??"
@allowachick Is there a button or something I can press that gives me the option of non-present people to bone, like not my sister in law's husband would be GREAT for a start. @btm013 I will continue to welcome Clive Owen dreams, those are fine and dandy.
I'm in full denial of the blump, right now my pants are aggressively bisecting it. it is not a good look for me.
