I don't know if you guys saw, but there was apparently a security breach with Equifax and a lot of information could have been taken. They are letting you go check to see if you were affected and offering a free year of credit monitoring (though I think if you sign up for it, you do waive your right to sue them). Looks like my husband and I were both affected, but thankfully DS wasn't.
@sparklingdiamond Thanks for sharing! I think it would be a good idea to have a thread for stuff like this, and like the listeria recall that was posted in the Randoms a couple days ago, and maybe other info like sales or deals. Then maybe it would get posted on pretty often and stay on the first page? If you wanted you could even change the title of this thread to something like: "PSAs: recalls, warnings, sales, etc." Just a thought

Sure, I can change the title. Will go do right now.
Dang, this makes me sad in terms of having options of places to shop but it also makes me a little excited to think what kind of deals I may be able to score as things start getting marked down!
The Equifax leak is no joke! My husband was affected and we are now trying to get everything straightened out as soon as possible because we want to buy a house before baby is born.
I figure with the Equifax stuff that they won't try to use people's info right away, but will wait until like a year later when everyone has forgotten about it. But maybe they are dumb criminals too.
Not sure if we do new threads for this type of subject so apologies for reviving an old one but I got a notice of a recall for DS's nightlight and sound machine. The charger is faulty and has shocked so far one person. They will send you a replacement, although I'm still waiting to hear back about a return shipping label. Wanted to pass along the notice.

@cards10 OMG my friend has this and I was looking for it the other day online so I could add it to my registry! They weren't selling it online at Buy Buy Baby anymore... I wonder if this is why!? Boo, I hope they fix the problem and get it back out into stores because I thought it was super cute.
@JJMNO1616 hmm it must be! Hopefully it won't take them long to get it back online bc we absolutely love it! If it won't shock you, I highly recommend it. It's one of DS's favorite things at bedtime is turning on owl and looking up at the "staaars... whoa"
@beach_mama I’d love to know that too... I got a salad at a restaurant the other day and realized after I was finished that it had Romaine in it. It’s everywhere!
