@LiveNLove44 yes to twin mattress instead of tiny toddler mattress. The bed I'm having my husband make sits on the floor so we're going to get a twin mattress and box spring so they actually last a while.
@ShawnnaO I'm also team crib for life My son is a little over two and I have no intention of converting his crib (we have a crib that converts to toddler and then full size) until he tries to climb of it. We'll probably just get a similar converting crib for this baby.
@barrelocarol definitely call a doctor and ask. That sounds like kidney pain? It could be from constipation, or there could be something else going on. If it was just a one and done situation I wouldn't worry but because it's been consistent, I would. I don't think it would be pregnancy related, though.
@barrelocarol how bad is the pain? Is it toward the front or back? Kidney pain tends to be toward the back. Since it's been going on for quite a while, I'd probably call. I hope it's nothing and that you feel better soon.
Stupid question. How will I know if I'm lifting too much/generally over exerting? I'm setting up a trade show booth. A big one. 5 100" tall crates plus 5 other crates size.

@kiki75 I think the general rule of thumb is if you feel like you're over exerting yourself, that's the limit. I know it varies person to person depending on what they're used to lifting. Can you call your doctor today and get their opinion on how much is too much?

@kiki75 when it comes to lifting heavy things during pregnancy, it's really based on comfort of the individual in most cases. Is it something you've lifted comfortably before? If so, just make sure you aren't alone and focus on keeping your core strong and lift with proper form to avoid twisting and tweaking a muscle or ligament in the process. When in doubt, ask for help. How heavy are they?
ETA: I pulled a muscle in my lower abdomen when I was about 23-24 weeks with my first because I was lifting luggage out of a car. I twisted in a bad way and wasn't controlling my movement well. It was half the weight of things I was regularly lifting at the gym, so it was more about how I did it than it was about the weight.
Thanks, guys. It's hard to tell what part is just travel fatigue, what part is the temp in the exhibit hall, etc. I think I'll just pay attention and take advantage of the hired labor. I'm just so used to going ant style on stuff and refusing help that it's hard to back it off.

Re: Questions - Week of September 4
Pregnant with #2:
I've been hurricane prepping and have felt this for the past 2 days.
I'll give a call to the midwife if it persists. Maybe I'm just nervous?
