@dragonette505 and @Momifbysea Thanks to both of you! I took triger shot last night and am scheduled for retrieval tomorrow. Process is definitely nerve wrecking. My estradiol stayed at 100 for first 3-4 days, making me super worried that I was not responding to meds) but then skyrocketted to 3500 a few days ago (calming me a little). Definitely a roller coaster ride that I am sure you all are also going through. Thanks for being supportive and good luck to you all. It is almost show time!!
On my way to my BW/US in a few. Then PT for the vertigo at 10:30. I held off taking all my oral meds until after PT because the procedure made me vomit last time. Really really hoping it clears before retrieval! I should find out today whether I do a second Ganirelix tonight or trigger. Today started day 8 of stims. I was so thankful my husband has been here to do shots this weekend but he drives back for work this morning. However, he will be at the retrieval - will drive up night before so he can do his sample and drive me there and back and then had to head back midafternoon. I’m just glad he can be there at all since it’s a new job.
@Momifbysea so glad he's able to get the time away.... it can be so stressful with a new job and all these ivf twists and turns! Hoping your nausea goes away soon (until about 7 wks pg)!

@Momifbysea I was JUST about to post my update, so here goes....
I *might* be ovulating now or hopefully at the latest tomorrow. My chart tried to fake me out, but my temps (after one high day yesterday) are back to their pre O low and I'm JUST getting decent amounts of EWCF (as of yesterday). So theres that. If I O today then i will be starting stims in the next couple of weeks. On the situation with my clinic, heres the running stats: 1. My nurse surprised me with telling me I have a polyp or something last week and nobody told me before that moment 2. My nurse sent me a message saying my insurance would not cover my IVF meds for this upcoming cycle and I would have to pay out of pocket. I called Cigna and they were like.. nah, youre good on to the latest stuff... 3. I get to my local Rite Aid to pick up my estrogen for priming ahead of my cycle yesterday and they tell me, oh this med is not covered and you have to pay 50 bucks. I'm like...ok, whatever... but wait a minute, can you tell me why my estrogen is rejected? Them: oh, your estrogen is covered, its this prescription prenatal that's not. Wait what??? I'm like...that's not for me and I don't want it... I email my nurse and ask wtf. Shes like: Oh since youre transferring this cycle the doctor wants everyone to have more folic acid. Me: I am currently on a prescription prenatal with more than enough natural folate. Her: ok, good!. 4. Today I get an early morning email from, you guessed it, my nurse saying CVS pharmacy cant remember how they sent me my Omnitrope..... GURL! I'm like, I have never used CVS pharmacy for anything, I got my omnitrope from Cigna specialty pharmacy and when I spoke to them last week they were aware of this order and seemed to have no problems. Her: oh, I think I meant cigna, great! I'm sure its all set then. WHAAAAT?? Anyway, this girl is dumb as rocks! What did I ever do to get her as my nurse????
I had my retrieval this morning. DH accompanied me, left his sample, and waited. Procedure took 25-30 minutes. Saw doctor briefly afterwards. He retrieved 18 total but cautioned that he is expecting 10-12 of them to be mature. He thinks that is a good number for my age (38). Hope he was not just trying to make me feel better. About to crash and get some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs! Will find out about fertilization tomorrow.

I trigger tonight at 8pm for a Wednesday 6:45 an retrieval! Seems like I was just doing this not too long ago! DH will drive back up tomorrow after work so he can take me and his sample.
Omg the vertigo is worse this morning. I have to fix this before ER! I feel guilty for driving this morning prob shouldn’t have. I made another PT appointment for tonight and then have the ER tomorrow morning. Just not how I want to feel going into the procedure, you know?
@maggier79 8 out of 12 is awesome! Your fertilization ratio is based on mature eggs not really total eggs. If you do another cycle of def ask about why so many of your eggs were not mature but your ratio is great
@dragonette505 Your feelings are justified. If doc noticed this at time of last retrieval, she had ample time to let you know about it. What is your clinic's success rate with fresh vs. frozen transfers?
@maggier79 They break it down based on age, but honestly I thnk they have a higher success rate with frozen in my age group simply because that's what they do more frequently its actually virtually the same, though)... I don't think it will make much of a difference if my lining is good and I don't get ohss... in the past the only reason I was doing freeze alls is because I kept getting ohss
Ok I’m home from my ER. They got 5 eggs and while I would’ve liked more I know that it’s quality that matters so hopefully the foods and care I’ve given myself the last few weeks have paid off. The RE seemed happy when I told him I dropped my BMI from 26.5 to 25 since my last retrieval and that I’ve been eating berries peppers and Brazil nuts daily. He said he really thinks it can make a difference (but we both know it takes three months to really change). However, the 5-1/2 week’s on this eating plan have to have made at least some difference! So now the wait starts for the fert report. Last time I had 11/12 mature and 7 fertilized, so starting with only 5 makes me a little nervous as we all know this is a numbers game. Yikes!
@Momifbysea it only takes one. Do you mind sharing what happened between fertilization and day 5 last cycle? You had a super egg and fertilization ratio. Best of luck. Again, it only takes one!!!

AFM I’m on CD7 after 6 days of stimms and this morning scan showed lining 7.8, I have 3 follicles on the left ( 10, 11, 17) and one on right (13). Little disappointed that there’s a lead follie... Going back for ultrasound and BW on Friday. I’m expecting to stimm max 4 more days.

I am doing PGS and freezing all. Antagonist protocol because I always show a large number of follicles. Baseline u/s showed my AFC at at least 20. (This doc didn’t count super well which annoyed me. I want to KNOW.)
Start follicle-stim and menopur Friday. I’m 37, almost 38. This is my first IVF cycle.
@IfYouCanDreamIt Not sure yet about fresh transfer. Today marks the third day since retrieval (Monday) and am nervous about whether my little ones are making it. Trying to take it one day at a time.
