How many months have you been TTC? 1 ish
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I had my IUD removed last Friday. I had spotting with my IUD and typically feel ovulation so I was tracking my cycle with the IUD in and per Ovia I would be in my FW right when it was taken out, O tomorrow. However, I think things are just a bit wonky right now and I got AF this morning. Obviously, I was not expecting to get KU immediately but it would have been nice.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) DH and I live in the Twin Cities with our furbabies Grace (dog, 7) and Glen (cat, 2). We both work and I plan to continue to work after. I am a financial analyst so I'm a big planner and a little, as I like to call it, particular. I like to do yoga but I have been on a hiatus as we just bought a house and were doing some renovations. Hoping to get back into that soon.

How many months have you been TTC? 3ish (1st I had just literally gotten my mirena out at the very top of my cycle so does that even count?)
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? : Not a lot right now. I mean, sex but I did BBT stuff last time but like... it's so much work and I'm PROFOUNDLY lazy, so I'm giving it a go with just OPKs. This is my first month using them. We'll see how it goes.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I used to lurk on BOTB like 6 years ago when I was TTC my daughter (now 5). I have two elderly dogs, two elderly shithead cats, and my hobby is basically putting stickers in my planner. I work FT in animal welfare and I'm low-key crazy cat lady. I'm in the TWW and I am an absolute champion squeezing-my-boobs-till-they-hurt-to-see-if-they're-tender-because-maybe-that-means-I'm-pregnant boob-squeezer. Also I'm like 2-3 DPO (ish) so it's really extra effing ridiculous.
Ages (you and SO): I'm 28, DH is 33
How many months have you been TTC? 2
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Prenatal vitamins, charting using Glow (any one else like this app?), CM. I haven't started temping or using OPKs yet but I'd love advice on starting to use either one.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) DH and I both work in health care. We just moved to our first home a month ago and we love it. Home Depot and Lowe's are my new addictions. We are parents to a goofy bulldog mix named Barley. Most of my hobbies involve keeping my hands busy, like cooking, baking, quilting, knitting. I also enjoy a good Netflix binge and doggie cuddles. We just started TTC last month, and I drove myself crazy during my first TWW Googling and symptom spotting to the max. Hoping to keep a little more sanity in the months to come!
Glad I'm not the only newb this week! Love your Stitch gif!

Hello! Like everyone else said, I've been lurking for a couple of months and decided it was time to contribute!
Ages (you and SO): Me: 30, H: almost 33
How many months have you been TTC? Starting the 4th month.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? PNV and CM for now. I did BBT the last 2 months, but it turned me into a psycho (because I tend to fixate and can get a bit obsessive) so I'm going to try taking a break for a bit!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) DH and I live in Maryland and have been married almost 8 years. We have have a 3-year-old daughter and a tiny anxiety-ridden 7-pound cockapoo. I'm a huge fan of Disney (and Harry Potter too, of course)! Other hobbies include binge-watching Netflix shows and scrapbooking when I find the time for it. TTC makes me feel crazy and I've greatly appreciated all of the level-headed advice from the other board members about trying to stay calm during the process! It's a lot harder than it sounds and DH doesn't really get why I get worked up about it. It's great to find a place with other people who understand!

@quiltandknit I used the Glow app at first but I spent way too much time on its mess of a message board, so I deleted it and started using another. The Glow message board was an endless stream of activity and it got a bit addicting!

Hi everyone! Nice to meet you all
Ages (you and SO): 28 (me) 29 (hubby)
How many months have you been TTC? 2
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? prenatals, tracking with DOT fertility tracker.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I've been married to my husband for seven years and we're trying for our second baby. We have an 18 month old son. Here is a music teacher and I still LuLaRoe clothing. We have a Dog (named Cricket after Jiminy Cricket) and a couple of chickens. I love all things nerdy especially Star Wars! Singing is probably my favorite hobby though these days it's mostly "Wheels on the Bus" or the ABCs.
@quiltandknit Home Depot and Lowes have become our new hang out spots. I swear sometimes we just go there now for no real reason. Also, HD allows dogs so we bring Grace and she gets a lot of attention and treats. Also if you don't look at that Stitch gif and say "hiii" in a Stitch voice in your head then you're not doing it right! lol
@offtoneverland I also feel BSC already. I feel like I have told my husband a bit more than he would have liked to know and last night we had a roasted squash mix for dinner and I thought the yellow squash tasted bitter but DH said he didn't. Seriously thought, "I must be KU because I'm having taste aversions to squash." It's been less than a week. I admire the strength of the women that go through this for months and struggle with infertility.
@jessnoel89 Love the name Cricket! and I totally wish we could have chickens! In the nearby Minneapolis they can so we thought we would be able to too but were in a suburb and its against ordinance
@ccvslp Kreacher sounds like a great house elf! Do you think when I do get KU I can register for a roomba? lol

How many months have you been TTC? 5 seriously, "practiced" about a year total.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I had egg retrieval earlier this year as a backup, but want to give the natural method a shot for a little while. Currently trying to chart bbt and fertility calendar with "Life" app. Taking supplements, exercising a bit more regularly, weighing the benefits of wine for stress reduction with possible effects on egg health, etc, using fertility tests, making maca shakes for me and the man a few days a week.... just cause they're yummy and can't hurt! I would like him to take a fertility test, but he's a stubborn old goat.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have a 26 yo (ex)step-daughter who is currently pregnant, which is beautiful and horrible at the same time for me. 1 cat that is the stand-in baby for my SO & I now. I love to travel and hike and camp. I love a good board game too. My relationship is only about 15 months old now, which has made pushing hard for a child seem even more scary, but what're ya gonna do? I'm 42!
@ccvslp just keep the socks away from that Roomba!
@offtoneverland thanks for the advice on the Glow app...I hadn't ventured into the message boards too much but I like the way it makes symptoms and CM easy to enter.
Hi everyone nice to meet you.
Ages (you and SO): We are both 29
How many months have you been TTC? 12
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I am on my first round of Clomid 50mg and am using opk's. If I do not ovulate this cycle the dr will be bumping me up to 100 and then 150 after that I will need an RE instead of my gyno.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Me and DH were high school sweethearts and have been married for 2 years. We have a furbaby a little 15lb mutt named Ulrich that I rescued. I love all things nerdy especially Harry Potter and Doctor Who. I also love DC comics, Outlander, and Game of Thrones.
@krashke - I had a Mirena and I was instructed by my health care provider to mark the day I had the IUD removed as CD1 of a new cycle. I spotted the day of the removal and then two days later had more typical AF bleeding and symptoms. I think when IUDs are advertised as "allowing you to get pregnant right away" after removal they usually mean that first cycle post-removal, not necessarily that you will be able to get ku within a few days. Some IUDs (like Mirena) thicken the cervical mucus and also thin the lining of the uterus to prevent pregnancy, and I think most women do not O with a Mirena. Other IUDs do not necessarily prevent O. I know for me I had irregular bleeding while on the Mirena (lighter and less frequent than a period), but my cycles returned to normal right away. Good luck!
Basically, I'm not out until I'm out so we're going to keep HIO.

How many months have you been TTC? None yet, I'm currently in the TWW and will actively begin soon.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BBT and I'll probably do OPKs.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I was active on here from *TW* May 2015 (I've since changed screen names) through September 2016 and then moved to my BMB (Heyyyyy May 2016). I have a one year old daughter *End TW*. I spend most of my time with my family and dogs. I am also a HP freak and enjoy being outside. I have an amazing group of friends that I met on this board 2 years ago and another great group from my BMB. I'm glad to be back, I've missed the snark (please forgive me as I learn to re-gif but I promise my snark will be on point).
ETA: Does TB app still suck or does it actually work now?
@mrstmoose welcome back! I'm not sure what the app was like before but I'm posting this from it on my iPhone and it's working swimmingly (see what I did there) only thing I don't like is having to scroll all the way through threads.

Hi everyone! *trigger warning preemie*
Ages (you and SO): I am 26 and H is 30
How many months have you been TTC? This will be month 1
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Right now we are just DTD. We are waiting until our son is 2 (7 months) before we really try hard.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have one son who will be 18 months on the 26th. He was a preemie (6 weeks early) and spent 2 weeks in the NICU and 5 weeks on oxygen. He's super healthy now and rambunctious.
I am an office manager for a real estate firm and H works for the city.
I'm happy to be back!
To all the other newbies this week, welcome!
Edited to add: Also, the app works so much better now. It used to log me off all the time, and glitch up, but this time around it's actually been easier than my desktop.
IMO, the app still sucks, and is even worse than it was two years ago. But, that's just me. I greatly prefer desktop.

Hello everyone!
Ages (you and SO): My fiancé and I are 25 years old.
How many months have you been TTC? We have been TTC for almost 7 months.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I have been tracking my AF with apps (First Response, Flo, Ovia and P Tracker Lite). I've just recently started charting my BBT about a week and a half ago with Fertility Friend). I also have been using OPKs (First Response, the simple pink dye one). This cycle I had to change over to the ClearBlue Advance Digital one because of the false positives with the other OPK. I've also added PreSeed to the mix as well.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have no kids YET ! My fiancé and I have 2 dogs. A 5 year old male yorkie named Prince and a 10 month old male husky named Apollo
. I work in an office that takes child, adult, and indivudals with disabilities abuse reports. My fiancé is a networking contractor that travels often. I absolutely LOOOOVE the beach, painting, shopping and hanging with friends.
I am very excited to be apart of this supportive community on OUR TTC journey!

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? We're NTNP as of this month, but I'm going to use opk just for information sake.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
I was active early 2016 on this board and made some amazing friends. There's a few people here now (even that intro'd) that I recognize but I think I was lurking when they left.
*TW child* We have a 7m old who is simply fantastic. My periods have just come back (2 in expected timing) so I'm trying you figure what if anything is different. Also no promise I'm even ovulating so we'll see. *end TW*
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I work for a local county and have an odd schedule so I might not always be responsive depending on working or not. Just mostly dipping my toe in right now and getting to know all the wonderful ladies that are here now.
