Ok, I am officially intrigued, and kicked around the internet looking into this is sour candy helping with nausea business. Apparently it is a huge thing. Mentioned on every pregnancy forum, and site. Why did I not know this for my first pregnancy??

@ngolimento I'm right there with you. It's why I'm convinced I'm having a boy, actually. My pregnancy diet with DS was like 96% Sour Patch Kids, and not just in first tri -- the whole damn time!
Hope everything is ok @JJMNO1616. Thinking of you.
Re: sour things-- I've only had a bit of nausea so far (only 4w5d) but ice cold water with a crapload of fresh lemon juice squeezed in has been really helpful. That was my go to for nausea when I was pregnant with DD too.

I always drink water with lemon at home but I have started taking lemon slices with me to work now too. I love lemon water, it helps me drink way more water then I would otherwise.
Well, my nausea/stomach ache is back (why did I miss my symptoms?), so you guys sent me to the store to buy sour candy It's not really sour enough for me though, so I think I see some lemon water per @kbamomma33 's suggestion in my future.

New symptoms last night included waking up with puke on its way up... Ran to bathroom, didn't vomit, but diarrhea hit! WTF?! Anyone else, or did I have a bug?

Yesss to the diarrhea!! My body keeps going back and forth from slight constipation to painful crampy diarrhea its so frustrating haha! But its normal with hormone changes!
Edit because that was supposed to read crampy diarrhea not cranky... lol
7wk5 over here and my MS is all day. I'm on Diclegis now, or I wouldn't make it through the days. It helps. Unison gave me terrible sleep, so my doc prescribed it.

Oh my god, when I was driving into work on Tuesday I was convinced that I was going to have to turn around and go home because I was either A. Going to puke all over myself or B. Going to poop my pants. I literally ran into my office as fast as I could. It was HORRIBLE. I have my poo-pourri on hand at all times lol!
Anyone else struggling with insomnia? So tired but then when i lay down i just lay there for hours unable to actually sleep. Making it incredibly difficult be a sahm to my 3 & 1 year old!
@Kath525 yup, the insomnia is terrible. I stay at home with our 2 year old and 10 month old and it's so awful getting up in the morning already completely exhausted. Solidarity.
@kath525, yep me too. Insomnia is usually worst for me in third tri, but it's particularly miserable now when you also have exhaustion as a symptom. yesterday I gave my 15 month old a full pack of paper coffee filters and let him go to town on destroying them. It kept him busy for a full 20 minutes, but low point.

6w3d no MS yet but still a constant dizzy feeling and like I'm going to get sick at any moment. I really hate this feeling. Kind of wish I could just throw up already. On the plus side, my spotting has subsided. FX it stays away.
6w1d. Just started getting symptoms of early morning (4 A.M.) nausea the past few days. I've been having rice cereal most mornings and if I keep up with my snacks, it seems to help. My plan today is to buy some snacks to keep at my bedside! Other than that, I feel more out of breath during exercise, decreased concentration and energy. I am thankful each morning I can get myself out of bed and feel fairly normal. Here's hoping it continues!
I am just shocked by the BLOAT this time around! I'm 5 weeks 5 days and just this week I have gained four pounds of bloat! My wedding ring is super tight on my hand and my stomach is all puffed out like I'm 16 weeks, lol. Calm down hormones! We have a long way to go still!
I haven't officially caught up on this thread yet. But I'm mostly here to chime in to say that I've fallen asleep TWICE today at work, sitting at my desk, and I got plenty of sleep last night! good grief.

I was just coming in to ask about insomnia. Dead ass tired but sleeping like crap. So frustrating.
And +1 to diarrhea. But I'll take that over constipation any day of the week and (literally) twice on Tuesdays.
Got some good news... the nurse from my Dr. office just called and said my progesterone and HCG looks great. She said my Progesterone is a 29 and that my HCG was "high" although I don't know the number. So they don't seem to have any immediate concerns about the spotting for now.

Nausea is kicking my butt and I am eating soooooo much trying to counter act it. Im so ready for when the nausea stops and I can eat normally again. Tired AF. Dont touch my boobs. Spotting when I don't drink enough fluids or over do it for the day. Bloating so bad, trying to drink lemon water to help that and bigger clothes to help me feel more comfortable. My body is a delicate unhappy flower.... lol

That's great! Spotting is scary, no doubt. I had been taking low dose aspirin as part of IVF protocol. After transfer, I spotted for a few days. Told my nurse, who said I could stop the aspirin. Spotting stopped right away. Do you have to have more blood tests done?

No, they didn't think it was necessary for me to have more labs done right now. I just have to go in in two weeks for my first u/s appointment.
