Any appointments this week or last? I actually booked myself a counselling appointment for tomorrow to discuss my fears about having a girl related to my relationship with my mom... I'm super nervous but I know it's what I need.

Also, DS slept till 7 this morning after weeks of getting up at 6-6:30. So that was lovely!
I had a great date to the Zoo with my girlfriend yesterday and her 3yo and 10 week old, it was so lovely. You know when you hang with a friend and you're like 'yup... this is why we're friends'. It was one of those days.

Yes! I made her this hat (crochet), just need to trim the tails.

And I bought some yarn to make her a blanket as well.

Any appointments this week or last? Just had our repeat A/S today. Palate and brain shot they needed (CBS? C-something-V? Ugh, I wanted to remember the acronym! haha) looked good!

Rants/Raves/Questions/Advice (Doesn't have to be baby related)? I'm just so obsessed with feeling/seeing her move and I was soooo sure I wouldn't feel it until so much later. I'm loving it! Also she did a ton of cute stuff at the scan today like sticking her tongue out, yawning, trying to suck her thumb. It was great.

GTKY: are you planning to make something for the baby/babies? (such as a blanket/quilt, mobile, art work etc) I don't have a crafty bone in my body, so no! She'll have some hand-me-down handmade stuff from when I was a baby and my dad's cousin is making her a quilt.

That's a super cute hat @kvacmak. I love the color combos And good for you for going to talk to someone about your mom stuff. That's a great step and I'm proud of you!
@MJDsquared They do take a scan that's called CV lol, but I have no idea wtf it is!  Glad your AS went well!  That's cool that she was so active and gave you a good show!

20+5, due date is Dec 30. Haha yeah right. The latest they'll come is Dec 9. Wow.

We had our 20 week AS yesterday. They needed to get more pics of the babies hearts. Baby B did great, but little miss Baby A was not as cooperative. They got some and then eventually just called my MFM in, and he physically went through and looked at everything on her through the US and confirmed that she's just fine . No signs of TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome), and they're growing right on track!  Music to my ears!!!!

Im so excited to start remodeling our new house!!!!!  We're almost there!  Sept 7th is our start date. Right now, I get to go out and spend a ton of money on new appliances and furniture. My favorite thing to do is go to the appliance store. I'm weird.  
Rant is that my sleeping is just so not fun anymore and it's bumming me out. I couldn't fall asleep until 1am, and then I woke up every hour on the hour to pee, and then my husband woke me up with his banging around the house getting ready at 6am. I finally fell back to sleep at 8am until like 10:30. Victory!

Nah. I'll be designing their nursery, etc, but I'm not very crafty. Unless you count my pottery, but that's not exactly baby friendly. Ill just buy something on Etsy and tell them I made it

Any appointments this week or last? anatomy scan last week and all looked good, though I do have to repeat it since they did the basic anatomy scan not the "your mom is an old lady scan" so I get to see this little one again at 24 weeks!

Rants/Raves/Questions/Advice (Doesn't have to be baby related)? Things overall are pretty good. I have been making a concerted effort to cut back on the sweets as so far I'm on track to gain as much with this one as I did with the twins. I'd prefer not to do that. Today is day 4 of no sweets, I'm proud of myself for not giving in.

GTKY: are you planning to make something for the baby/babies? (such as a blanket/quilt, mobile, art work etc)  I am planning to knit this one a blanket. I knit one for each of the twins. I just need to get my act together and pick out yarn and get started... eep there's not that much time left!

@kvacmak the hat is beautiful. I'm glad your going to talk to someone. I don't have a great relationship with my mom and I think like your son you just love them and do your best. I really hope DD and I are close as she gets older. hugs

@breezybee sleeping got very hard with the twins. I would be on my side and my shoulder and down hip would hurt so bad. I actually had to move to the guest mattress which is a memory foam mattress. that and a fortress of pillows to support my knees. back and belly. (which of course is a challenge when you have to get up to pee every 15 min. hang in there. Yay for renovations and new furniture and appliances!!

@breezybee I am sleeping in a huge fortress of pillows already with just 1 so I can imagine how difficult it is for you... darn DH for waking you! 

@wabash15 don't be too hard on yourself about sweets and such! Being pregnant and raising twins has to be so hard! I find it crave sweets when I'm not eating enough other good stuff, so my body is like "give me more calories" so it defaults to sweets.

@breezybee Yay for remodeling! And I'm sorry your sleep is so crappy lately. It was driving me nuts so I had to go check my old results to see what was "suboptimal" on my first scan, and it was the cavum, which has the abbreviation CSP for the long name.
@wabash15 I'm so glad your A/S was good, and that you get to see baby again! (I almost said 'see them again' because of breezybee having twins this time/you already having twins! Haha.)

Today is the best I have felt this whole pregnancy.  I was able to keep down 3 solid meals and had minimal heartburn and I'm awake past 8:30 pm. I literally could do a happy dance right now. (Also I'm knocking on wood that I didn't just jinx myself lol)

this reminds me I need to order his baby book.  I made a baby book for DS1 and I also wrote in a journal for him. I would like to do the same for DS2.  I'm not very creative otherwise lol I wish I was

@Marley629 so glad you're feeling better!

AFM just left my counselling appointment, and just let me say, if you are having any anxieties about anything, just go to counselling. 
It was so good. I already feel 100x better and my negative associations about having a girl are basically gone. I realized I was piling all the issues I have with my mom onto that one fact, when in reality that has nothing to do with it. I still have issues with my mom that I need to work through more, but at least I am feeling so much better about baby GIRL! Yay!

@kvacmak that makes me so happy. I've been going to therapy like once a month just to unload on someone and it really helps me.  I'm so glad this worked out for you!

@breezybee thanks! I am definitely going back to continue working through my mom stuff. There's no way we would have ever had time to work it all out in one session! It helps that my benefits cover it, so I will probably go a few more times.
