Month/Cycle: 1/1

Timing: -4, O day twice. (Hoping we caught the egg)

Testing: Hoping to hold out until 10 DPO as its Hubbys Bday.
R/R: Rant, Hubby is winding me up with his 'it will happen when it happens' attitude. Rave, Ive finally got my crosshairs on my FF chart, and am now in my TWW. I've also decided to start teaching adult drawing classes in the local education centre
CS/Q: None
GTKY: If you could travel to any country in the world, where would you go and why??? I'd travel to Africa, and go on a safari, because being a professional artist, would love to get action shots of animals in the wild to draw

CS/Q: I pretty much decided not to temp during the TWW, so there's nothing new to look at. Helps with the BSC, and I get to sleep in another half an hour.
GTKY: If you could travel to any country in the world, where would you go and why?
Because I've always wanted to go to Ireland, and it's like the only place H would go with me on a plane.
But also, I'd totally drive to Canada because I have friends there and want to meet them.

GTKY: If you could travel to any country in the world, where would you go and why??
@izza2 yeeeesssss Ireland!
I've always wanted to go. I am half Irish. I have no connection the the culture other than being told that my great (or great great?) grandparents came to the us from Ireland. But pictures look so beautiful and it's definitely somewhere I want to visit

I want to go to Ireland! It looks beautiful. that is really the only reason.... and my husband is technically Irish in heritage.
Month/Cycle: 9/9
CD/DPO: 22/3
Timing: -4, -2, O (I am super proud of our EOD timing, it doesn't happen easily for us!)
Usual LP: 11 days
Testing: Friday 8/25
R/R: Very excited for a relaxing week by the lake! Also really happy that the timing of this cycle worked out so I could confirm O before leaving but won't be in the last days of the TWW until we're back. Theoretically, especially with no Internet access, this should give me a nice break from obsessing...theoretically.
CS/Q: Nope, it looks good and I agree with FF's interpretation!
GTKY: Well, since I crossed Scotland off the list last year, I think France is currently highest on my list. Sooooo many history sites. Soooooo many. I would be one happy history buff! Also, of course, the food and culture would be fun to experience...I could even dust off my elementary school French and recite a long poem about The Fox and the Crow for everyone we met. I'm sure they'd enjoy it.
@babyboywish, welcome to the TWW! The western coast of Ireland is really beautiful, I studied abroad in Cork in college and took a lot of trips around the country while I was there. I grew up in a place with a lot of cornfields, so the contrast in scenery for me was pretty dramatic!
@izza2, very strong GIF game this morning! And congratulations on holding off on testing, around 9 DPO is always when I start getting the itch too.
@catlady1215, that does seem like a weird chart. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the temp shift isn't large enough to make FF happy? But I didn't think it really had a minimum as long as a shift was clear. Hopefully someone with more expertise will come along and shed some light on things for you!
@babyboywish - my husband is exactly the same and it drives me crazy!
It's my first time posting here since returning - I have been lurking a while!

Would love to go to Canada - my brother is there at the moment and I'm so jealous!
@lee^2, sorry about the spotting, but I'm glad you got a good night's sleep last night!
@thisnthat314, I hear you about the state of the country. I mentioned earlier this week in WTO that I used to live in Charlottesville, so the week's news and all the video footage that goes with it have been hitting me especially hard.
This is our first month trying, I just came off the pill, so this is my first cycle of my hormones not being controlled. I'm hopeful that we will have a positive test result but realistic that a first attempt win may not happen. This will be our first baby. I used a fertility app to track my cycle for the last 2 months before trying and used OPK's during my fertile window. According to my fertility app, Sunday is the day it's saying to take a pregnancy test, but I may test a few days early.
If I could go anywhere, probably out west to Montana or Colorado, I love the mountains and all the beauty that surrounds it.

Plus I put a big ole bunch of cat nip in one of the little stuffed toys they never play with... It's Fu's (Tarfu) favoritest toy EVER now! She carried it around like it was her new baby My cat is a drug addict!

I haven't been anywhere (aside from Canada as a kid), so... YES! I would love to travel all over. If I have to choose on, put me down for team Ireland, but in reality I'd be happy getting to travel anywhere

@lurvleybunchococonuts Bravo on the gif game
@babyboywish I grew up in Africa. It is a seriously beautiful country and a great place for an artist. What kind of art do you do? Do you draw or paint professionally?
@izza2 You go girl! I may actually try the not temping after O is confirmed next cycle. Although I am always awake before my alarm so not sure I am really helping much other than my BSC SS self. Canada is great great I have to say! I am on the East coast.
@catlady1215 Is it possible that FF is looking for CM? Have you charted that in the past at all? I think I saw someone mention that you can set FF to decipher O based on other symptoms, possible its using that as its trigger and not just temps? Just a thought as I am by no means a guru on the subject.
@lee^2 FX that it isnt AF coming. And nice job on that sleep last night. Jealous!
@thisnthat314 I tend to agree with the state of the US. I really hope that things can smooth over soon.
@Augusta108 Yay for your CH!! Have a fantastic time at the lake relaxing!
@Funkymooncow Well done on your run last night. Hope you get that lay in soon. Whereabouts in Canada is your brother?
@dlynnb084 Which app are you using? And are you temping at all as well? If not, I highly recommend it. Welcome and GL!
@lurvleybunchococonuts Haha love the cat stories. My spotted one is a crack (catnip) addict too! Its hilarious to watch.
@dukestar5 Hey girl! How long is the trip home? Good for you still getting your run in even on the road! FX AF stays away.
@nitnat007. Was the bloodwork for an RE? Or general OB appt? Our drive is only about 4-5 hours...not too bad.

Starting a new cycle means I can use my tempdrop device I ordered 3 years ago on indiegogo. And I'll get to use the fancy smiley face opks I bought at the store when I ran out of internet cheapies before O arrived..

Well I'm supposed to take my student club to England, Ireland, and Wales in April it's been planned for 2 years now, but I'd rather get KU and not be allowed to fly. I know there are plenty of teachers who wouldn't mind chaperoning for me.
@izza2 good job holding out on testing. it can seriously be so hard... and I always cave then hate myself for it lol.
@lee^2 sorry about the BFN
@thisnthat314 hide the tests! lol. I always say I'm going to give DH the tests so I don't test early. but never do.
@augusta108 have a great week! hopefully the vacay will keep your mind off the tww.
@funkymooncow welcome!
@lurvleybunchococonuts love your gifs lol. and I will never mind someone turning into a catlady ;-) my cats are the same with catnip! one will roll around in it while the other just eats it. then they go crazy afterwards.
@dukestar5sorry about pending AF
@nitnat007 your chart looks good! FX for you!
I tried putting in CM and no change. I even stuck CP in, nothing. and I don't normally chart either of those regularly anyway. if I see it on wiping, ok I put it. but I don't really check it. if I change the settings to decipher by different things, I get lines. but I've only ever used the recommended one. i'll probably just switch it to OPKs for this cycle. but after so many cycles of FF, I've never seen it. just weird.

@dukestar5, thank you. I grew up in the UK, but have lived in Ireland for 14 years now, and love it. I would never move back to the UK. Its such a wonderful place to bring a family up in
I would highly recommend a trip to Mont Saint Michel in Normandy in France. Its a magical place to visit, and one of my all time places to visit in Europe

@jhysmath, I can completely understand why you would rather get KU and get someone else to go on the trip.

@jhysmath Loving the positivity!!! Sounds like next cycle is going to be a really exciting one. FX its the one!!
@catlady1215 That is really, really strange. You absolutely have a shift there. It is very clear. When you make those changes and it gives you lines, do they line up with what you think is O and your shift?
@dlynnb084 Have you tried Fertility Friends at all? That is what most of the ladies on here use and it is recommended. I totally understand the obstacles of temping (I have a 90lb lab who does the same thing), what kind of dog do you have? Have you confirmed that you are ovulating with any other method than just OPK's?
@doxiemoxie212 Take me with you! Those pics are beautiful!

@babyboywish my husband is kind of the same way regarding "when it happens it happens" which is part of why we were not TRYING but not preventing for a while. I'm a control freak and feel much better about things now that I'm using OPKs and more actively trying to get pregnant. I think since some of us spend so many years actively trying to prevent pregnancy, the "when it happens" part seems like it'll be so much easier and more automatic than it ends up actually being!
@thisnthat314 I'm with you on your R/R
@lurvleybunchococonuts your GIFs are just the best! And to answer your question from yesterday, I'm on level 2000 something of CC :x (told you I was addicted!!)

Rave- I saw my high school English teacher yesterday, who is now an assistant principal at the site I was at before going on special assignment. She gave me a huge hug and told me she was so sad her boys don't get to have me (they started as freshman this year) and that she's looking forward to my return in two years.
