Got genetic tests back yesterday and found out we're having a boy!! This will be Boy #2 for our family so I'm picturing lots of camping trips with dad where I sit home and enjoy a quiet evening someday. Also, I'm envisioning long, quiet showers while my husband chases boys around a locker room someday at pools etc.
We just got back our test results, all is normal and we are having a GIRL! This is our first baby. You are all the first ones I've told because I want to tell my husband in person later when we both get home from work. Trying to think of a cute way, and coming up with nothing!

Congrats! I'm glad all is well.
This is how I told my husband. Every day when he gets home from work, he goes into his closet to get fresh clothes to change into. I bought a tiny outfit that looked traditionally "girly", and hung it front-and-center in his closet.
These announcements make me happy! So so eager to find out what our little one is. Girls are quite the theme it seems so far.. I think there has only been a couple boys!

@crossfitbabybump my gut says you're having a boy lol. Idk why! I could be and probably am totally wrong though haha. I feel like mine is a girl but almost everyone else thinks it will be a boy.

You know, I hope your gut is right! I mean, as long as he/she is healthy, that's the main priority! But I want to be a boy mom sooo bad!!! I was lurking on Feb 18 moms and they have a thread asking STM about based on their first one's HB, what they had. My babies heart beat both times was 162 and 171.. so high! But my sister said my nieces HB was always around 140. I thought high meant girl and low meant boy? (Based on a theory not actual science, lol)
@crossfitbabybump my daughters heartbeat was always in the 160s. But my friends sons heartbeat was always in the 150s so they weren't far apart. I'm having a girl again based on that theory, but I also don't put much stock in it.
We got our NIPT results yesterday, and everything came back normal. It also looks like we're having a girl too. After 3 boys, I'm finding it kind of hard to wrap my head around. LOL
We just got out results back of our NIPT today... We are having a baby Boy! I'm excited and nervous. We have a 2 year old girl and I have a 9 year old bonus daughter... our house is all girl. I'm not sure I will know what to do with a little boy. So excited though!
Just got my Maternit21 results today and all tests came back with no abnormalities and we are having a.... Boy! I had a feeling since I have not been sick at all this pregnancy (Just tired and bloated all the time). My almost 2 year old will be a great big brother. As for me... I'm preparing for a house of boys. AKA - Legos, cars, super heroes and fart jokes.
Just realized we've had our results for almost 5 weeks and I still haven't posted. Our Panorama came back with low risk for an affected fetus (best possible result).
This is Baby #3 for us, as well as our last. We have a son and a daughter, and we were team green for both. This time around, DH and I were leaning toward finding out the sex, for bedroom sharing/planning purposes. Just got our Harmony results back! It'll be a GIRL for us!!!!
We got the call this morning about our NIPT results, no concerning results and it is a boy! I gasped like a crazy lady! I realized in that second how sure I had been it was a girl. This is the first baby for my husband and I both, and considering the challenges of getting pregnant this time, and our ages (my husband is 49 and I will be 35 in October) there is a good chance we will only have this one. He feels even more real now ❤️.
Our NIPT results came back today showing no abnormalities. We're so very grateful for this news! We're also happy to confirm that we are indeed having baby BOY #3! My daughter will be sad as she was hoping for a sister - she's definitely out-numbered. I'm sure her sadness will quickly fade as we start to prepare for our new little guy.
Seems like a lot are having boys! We find out next Thursday and I'm dying!!! We haven't had a baby boy in the family for 17 years! We have one girl and would be SOOOO excited for boy!
@HappyMonkey817@blinksmb So my sister told me that her NT tech correctly predicted hers was a boy 6 years ago, and I asked my NT tech about it a couple weeks ago and she said that that theory ("nub theory" or something I think she called it) has been debunked and that there is no way to tell from any ultrasound that early.
Harmony test says it's a BOY!! 1st baby at 38 yrs old...hope I can keep up with him. Can't wait to meet my little guy !! So now we are trying to name him....we want an Italian name and having a tough time agreeing on one! Wish I can just name him "sweety pie" LOL
@vflux33 good to know! I was wondering wtf changed since when I had a baby 2 years ago I was told 12 weeks is way too early to tell. I guess I was just thrown off by the sheer confidence of this technician
