I had Cold Stone Rum Raisin last night. It tasted like rubbing alcohol and I was enjoying it. It repeated so now I'm free of the desire for ice cream that i didn't have in the first place.
We just switched our cable and we now get Dejaview. I've been watching so much Three's Company. DH can't stand it. So he's playing with DS while I lay in bed watching. It's awesome.

Stuck in the quote box. I loved that show when I was a kid!
I am getting married in less than 2 weeks and leaving for our honeymoon in less than 3 weeks. Before this weekend I had not bought a wedding dress (this baby was supposed to be a honeymoon baby, lol). My DF and I went this weekend shopping for a casual wedding dress and clothes for the cruise. I almost cried. I hate the way everything looks on me. I lost 70lbs 3 years ago and have kept most of it off. I went to the doctor on Friday and I've gained 30lbs since earlier this year! I'm so worried that I'm going to keep gaining more weight than usual (I also have a history of GD) and it's going to take me years to get off. I just feel frumpy at a time when I think I should feel sexy. DF is great about it, but it was just kinda hard for me.
So ya know yesterday how I had all the mama guilt about not doing stuff with my kids because I'm so tired? Well we went to the grocery store (yay?) My oldest got invited to a friends and my youngest is actually playing really well independently outside. I was really going to do something, take them somewhere....now I'm like, huh. Hmmm. Guess I'll sit here??

@loganjsmommy1978 Yes! At first I wasn't sure about it but something just kept drawing me in and I'm glad I watched it! But now I'm in a show-hole. lol
Question since I don't see a question thread for this week.. is a transverse uterus the same as a tilted or retroverted uterus? I ask because on my ultrasound today they said I had a transverse uterus and made a note of it. When I google transverse, tilted and retroverted pop up. Just wondering if anyone has had that and what it implies? I didn't really think to ask until later.. I was too focused on that little heart beating. Thanks!
My husband is going on a business trip next week. I'm not excited about 1st trimester & single mommying.
Booo! :-( mine is doing annual training and I'm "lucky" they didn't leave town. He's home every night but working nearly 3 weeks straight, 10+ hour days :-/ solo momming it during 1st tri is no joke, godspeed! Eek

Did a trial run for DD's birthday with strawberry filling and frosting. Still undecided about the buttercream I used, it is pretty sweet but I don't really pile it on so maybe it'll be ok. I tried swiss meringue last time and it was super buttery.

@justkeeptrying This is happening to me too! I find taking quick showers that aren't too hot helps a bit. But whenever I have to wash my hair in there I come out feeling so sick. I'm not used to it -- I used to love my showers!
@justkeeptrying@vflux33 I've been taking baths because of this and actually running them just Luke warm or body temp because the heat makes me sick. I can't stay in too long or I get cold - but I find it helps
@vflux33, I'm going to try to break a world record for speed showering. I know I need to shower. Maybe if I keep it super cold I won't want to stay in long lol
@bb3vj3n, I hate baths! Lol! Unless they involve bubbles and a glass of wine.
@loganjsmommy1978 wow losing 70lb is such an accomplishment! Even if you're not at the weight you want or imagined for your wedding day, I agree that you are growing a HUMAN! that's more important than anything. And the weight can come back off. Many of us will be in the same boat (me for sure), and we can also support each other.

Sure fire way to ruin keeping your pregnancy a secret: Forget to hide your daughter's "Big sister again" tshirt once you used it to tell your husband the good news. Inevitably your daughter will find it while your MIL is watching her and tell all the neighbors to check out her new shirt. Dang it.
@loganjsmommy1978 I know what your going through lost about 70 lbs 3 years ago too, but unfortunately I couldn't keep it off while breastfeeding DS (surprisingly enough pregnancy wasn't as hard) and gained most of it back. I hope you know that whatever size you are, you're still YOU! And everyone will love you the same no matter what! That thought has really kept me going. Be kind to yourself, and don't let it get you down in this happy time!
@loganjsmommy1978 I just bought two framed blackboards at a craft store and wrote "oldest" and "middle (crossed out youngest)" on each. I used chalkboard markers to write on them, and while they do come off, they also leave residual dark spots where you write/draw. I tried to do a one-time shot. Then I bought a similar frame and put an u/s pic in it for DH and I to hold. We had photos last week and will use them to announce in a few weeks. It all cost like $15 plus our store's weekly discount, and it was just what we needed!
I wanted to kiss the owner of a local deli this morning. I decided all of a sudden (as a wave of nausea was lifting for just a tiny window of time) that I needed a breakfast sandwich from her. They're like a combo deli/diner with food that all tastes like your incredibly talented grandma made it. It tastes like home. Once I got there, I realized they had just stopped serving breakfast and I was going to give up on life. But the owner was behind the counter and said she'd be happy to make me a breakfast sandwich. I was so close to confessing my early pregnancy to her so she knew how much that mean to me. I'm definitely mentioning it to her once I'm further along.
Rumor got around the office that I used to babysit my old bosses dog while she was away, which was a lot. Yes I did watch her and I loved that dog! So now I have other coworkers asking me to dog sit for them. Hey, a little extra cash on the side doesn't hurt right about now.
@StephBrim24 that's awesome! I know the feeling of wanting a certain something between the waves of nausea and its so hard...yeah I have a few people to give thanks to myself when we finally announce too.
@crossfitbabybump we used to watch a couple dogs on occasion too (before we just got our own now) we wanted dogs so bad, I was happy to do it. Yay for some extra $$$

@MrsBalletStar05 I plan to use it towards the nursery so I'm excited! We also have 3 dogs of our own and we foster here and there for a rescue that we got one of our pups from a few years ago. My girls are pretty used to us having dogs in and out, lol! I'm trying to do it while I can because one the baby comes, I won't be able to anymore. I just made me smile that people heard what I've done and asked me. I was like, Heck Yeah! I'll watch your doggy! lol
Loaded up my massive pup this morning (great Pyrenees) to get her to the vet to have her spayed. Turns out today is her first time of being in heat, so had to reschedule! Bad timing I guess!
@crossfitbabybump I would also just at the chance to dog sit for some extra cash!
@triplejplus1 we had the opportunity to foster a great Pyrenees! They're huge! My parents have a newfoundland and he's like a big old bear! great dogs!
Yes I love her so much! She's like a big cuddly polar bear . But she's hard to keep brushed, always running through the weeds that stick in her all that fur!
@triplejplus1 Yes! The fur, oh my gosh! I have a fluff nugget and everything gets stuck in there! lol but they make the best cuddle buds in the winter!
another random... I'm at the point when it feels so good to undo the button on my jeans. So while I sit at my desk, button is undone, and if I have to get up to help someone, I have to quickly and inconspicuously re-button!
My mom is amazing. She came over today to help me out with DS so I could get the house in order and literally emptied out and cleaned/wiped down my entire fridge, threw all the going bad stuff away and cleaned the dishes from them, then went out and weeded my herb garden (that had some HUGE weeds growing because I haven't had the energy lately) then came in and played with DS while I took a shower. Oh, and she brought me coffee from my favorite coffee shop. Seriously I am on cloud 9 right now.
@crossfitbabybump iPhone 7+. I love apple but a couple weeks go I dropped my phone and shattered the screen. Not surprisingly it's been jacked up ever since lol
