Re: August TWW

  • Thank you everyone. I am still thinking CP. I will test again tomorrow but seems the same as last month which just makes me wonder what is going on. It really stinks when there is no known reason...

  • @sprkls8506 I really hope it works out for the better. Good idea to make the appt next month to go over everything. Not sure why you would have another CP. maybe they can do some testing.

Well another barely there BFP(pretty sure yesterday's was darker).  Spotting stopped but that's def because I started the progesterone. So it stinks because I can't even call until Tues because of the holiday. We leave on vacation next week so just want this figured out before then...
  • Everything crossed so hard for you @sprkls8506
  • @sprkls8506 Does your RE's office have an on-call doc you can talk to? I know it's frustrating that stuff like this never seems to happen 9-5 Monday through Friday. And with a history of loss, we're more likely to worry about things and want our doctor's reassurance.
I don't know if it helps, but when I went through my last loss every morning I got a BFP I would tell myself "today you are pregnant" and repeat that to myself as many times as I needed throughout the day. It helped me to stay in the moment when I found myself worrying about the next day. *hugs*
  • @sprkls8506 - I really hope it sticks for you.  I get my blood taken at Quest sometimes and then it gets forwarded to my doctor but like you said monday is a holiday and then you have to wait until tuesday but I do know some Quest labs are open today.

  • @sprkls8506 similar to what @vlagrl29 say d I get my blood done with labcorp so if it's already been drawn you can check it out with their online portal

  • @leahcimmichael they do have an on call dr. I may end up calling but for now just trying to enjoy the amazing weather with my family.

Thank you for all the positive thoughts ladies.
  • With bloodwork I've always done it at the RE office. Never thought to do it outside. Hmmm.

Again thank you for all of the support.

well the doctor does have to call it into quest for an order.  I have a quest app on my phone so when results come it I get notification.  It doesn't take any longer than getting it at your doctors office - usually next day.  For you it would be tuesday.  It really can't hurt to call your on call doctor and explain.  I sure would want to know asap that way you can continue getting HCG levels tested every few days to confirm viable pregnancy.

  • @sprkls8506 sending positive thoughts!!

@leahcimmichael Yes I like that mantra too, "today I am pregnant". I used that a lot during my last pregnancy, before my loss, since I found out @13 weeks that I was high risk and had a 35-50% chance of miscarriage at any point in the pregnancy. My anxiety obviously skyrocketed since finding that out, but it helped just a little bit to tell myself that every day. I plan on using that mantra *when* I get my next bfp
  • @sprkls8506 thinking of you this weekend!
  • Thank you everyone.
  • Well doesn't seem to be a BFP today. As I expected. I just hope AF shows up soon. I don't want to deal with her on vacation. Grrrrrr.
  • Oh no @sprkls8506 I'm so sorry
  • @sprkls8506  I'm so sorry.

  • Thank you everyone. So now I'm just wondering how this happened 2 months in a row. When I had an u/s on day 3 of my cycle back in the spring they said everything looked fine but I want them to check my lining. I'm not sure if that was part of what they checked but I'm going to ask. To top it off today is an absolutely miserable day! Stuck inside!!!
  • @sprkls8506 ugh I'm so sorry!
  • @sprkls8506. So sorry!! I for sure would have everything checked out. Maybe you need a little more time before ttc

  • Well def not taking a break unless they see a real reason too.  :/
  • @sprkls8506 maybe some supplements then to really get that lining good. I need to get on that myself.

  • @sprkls8506 I'm so sorry - I know how you feel having been there myself. You mentioned that you are waiting to see the RE right? They will run a million and one tests so hopefully they will be able to give you some answers!
  • @msstephanielynn I do have an appt with my RE. We have done all of the reg testing. Nothing has come up for a reason for anything.  :/
