Birth Pool Predictions

Since we're so close to August (and have had a couple babies born already!) I thought it would be interesting to get everyone to try and guess the date they're going to deliver. You can even add in what you suspect the weight and length will be. Almost like a board wide baby pool. 

After we all deliver it might fun to come back and see on what you thought vs. the reality.

If you are having an induction or scheduled C-section, than you'll be one of the ones that guessed the date right!

Due Date: August 23rd

Dates I think I'll go: August 18th-25th

Date Husband thinks: August 6th on his birthday which I don't want another LEO DH and DD are leo's.

Size: 
20-21 inches

Based on previous pregnancy. I think 8/24/17 or 8/25/17.I will have an 8lb baby since daughter was 7lbs and ounces. My belly just looks bigger. Also I went 2 days past my EDD with DD so thinking it might happen again bu will see what happens.

Date Husband thinks: August 11th (all the siblings in his family were early, so the full 40 weeks is a strange concept to him)

I'm still mentally preparing to go to the end of August but I honestly can't mentally wrap my mind around the possibility of having a September baby. I think the GD diagnosis will keep me from going into the next month...so small blessing for that.

Fun idea!!  So I'm technically Team Green, but I know the sex of the baby since our hospital F'ed up.  So I'm not making a prediction about that lol.  

Date:  I'm due August 12th, but DS was 2 weeks early.  My original predictions were 7/25 and 7/27, but that's obviously not going to happen....so my next prediction is 8/1.

Weight:  8 pounds 2 oz

Height:  20 inches

my my first son was born on his due date- but I'm hoping for a couple of days early this time (really because my best friend is due the 11th, but is likely to go any day now- and I'd love to maximize our maternity leave time together.)

I'm a scheduled c section but I'll predict weight and length.

Due date is August 11, c section is scheduled for August 4th.

I'm predicting 9 lbs 2 oz and 21.5 inches long 

DS was born at 39+2 and was 9 lbs 5 oz and 22 1/4. I think this guy will be close in size

I'm due August 3 with a girl, FTM.

However, given how I feel today (I posted about it in the Thursday ticker change), I am betting she's coming July 28th, 29th or 30th. I also think she's going to be around 7 lbs.

I'm due 8/18 with a boy.

I'm predicting 8/8 just because it would be fun since DD is 5/5. And I think he will be 7lbs 10oz, 21 inches.

DD was a week early. We will see. Today is DH's birthday so I was thinking that would have been neat but guess baby isn't ready yet!

I'm predicting that I'll be one of very few mamas here that is still pregnant on August 31st (which is when my RCS is scheduled).

My last two babies were about 6 & 1/2 lbs each, so I think this guy will be similar in weight. DD was petite at only 18", whereas both boys were 21"+, so I'm betting on:

Stats: 6lbs, 12oz, and 21" long

I think I'll be induced on 8/12 hopefully I can stretch it till the 13th because I'd love to have this baby on my brothers birthday!

Weight: 8.8 -they estimated already close to 8 at 36 US and since that can change and 10lbs sounds high, I'm keeping with my 8s.

Think:  I am hoping for 8/8 becuase DHs family all has b-days like this (1/1, 2/2, 4/4, 7/7, 12/12 and a few others who passed).  DH was also born on the full moon, which this year is 8/7, so I think Ill go in on the evening of 8/7 and he will be out 8/8.  Either that or he will be here next weekend, and totally shock all of us!

I'm guessing this guy will be around  21 inches and high 7's maybe like 7lbs 14oz. 

DD was 11 days late, 19 inches and 7lbs 8 oz. but I feel like this guy is slightly bigger.

Would like to have the baby on 8/23 which is our 12 year dating anniversary. Have a feeling it will be later than that, maybe 8/29. We are all ready if I'm early though, which I think means I'll definitely be late.

@PinkPrincessPiper I might be joining you August 31. LO is due the 22nd but I won't be surprised if I have a September baby since I'm a FTM. 

BUT at our prenatal yesterday MW, while palpating, said "baby is VERY engaged. I'm basically in your vulva right now." (Trying to palpate her head).

Not going to guess dates since it'll mess with my brain, but:

Prediction: 8/27 or 8/28. I know the odds of giving birth on my actual due date are slim, but 8/27 is the first day I won't be screwed with my maternity leave being in a school system (staff goes back 8/28).

Weight - yesterday's scan predicted her at 7lbs 1 oz so I'm hoping she starts to max out here by 7lbs 7oz
Length - She has long femurs so I'm not sure where to guess with this... 21 inches maybe

My son was born at 36 weeks so I thought this one would be born early but nope. Induction for 8/3. Today she measured via ultrasound 6 lb 10 oz.
So I'm gonna guess birth stats as: 6 lbs 12 oz and 18.5 inches.

Scheduled c-section on 8/21, but since I delivered my other 2 during week 38, I'm guessing that I'll go into labor on 8/17.  I'm hoping to make it to 8/21 though.

Fun! I work with a team of data geeks and my boss likes to make bets on anything slightly data related so the team always predicts birth weights/dates for each other's babies. The group average weight for mine was 7lb8z and an 8/14 due date. Winner gets to text me a work related question when I am on leave, ha. 

Third time mom, Team Blue, Due 8/19 (based on LMP, I think based on personal tracking it is closer to 8/23)
DD1 (7lb5oz) I went into labor on my due date and DD2 (6lb2oz) was a week early. 

My prediction: 8/16 (has been in my head the whole pregnancy) or 8/21 because my (capricorn) horoscope is heavily influenced by that eclipse!

Size prediction: 9 lbs 4 oz and 22" long (DS was 10 lbs 4 oz and 22" so we're hoping for a pound smaller. Fingers crossed!)

I'm hoping to go even earlier, like any day from today on. I'll put in an official guess for 7/31/17 because I'm spending the morning climbing through a submarine and it would just be my luck to go into labor. 

Weights I'm guessing around 6.5 pounds, he is slightly bigger by maybe 3oz or so.  Lengths maybe around 18", I think she will be just a bit longer.

I predict I go into labor 8/8 but everyone else thinks I'll need to be induced again and can't go into labor on my own.

DS1 was 8 lbs 10 oz, DS2 8 lbs 9 oz then my nephew was 8 lbs 8 oz so I predict this baby will follow the trend of one ounce smaller! The height is just a random guess as DS1 was 21 inches and DS2 was tiny at 17 inches.

I'm guessing/hoping it happens this weekend. I have been having contractions all evening that haven't fizzled out yet. Usually I have them consistently for an hour then they stop multiple times a day.

I really hope I go early, don't want to go past my EDD, but we'll see, as long as she's healthy! 

EDD: August 17th. DH's bday is August 10th, he thinks it'll happen then. I'm hoping she comes on a Friday so August 4th or 11th...but seriously, I have no idea! 

As for weight, I would say 7lbs, which I'm not sure how I'm going to handle. I'm 4'11" and normally 100lbs...yikes!
