Hi everyone! I'm a STM expecting baby #2 in April - very excited but nervous too since I had preeclampsia and delivered early with DD - so far so good, just praying everything's stays that way! I was working full time but the stress just was not worth it anymore so I left my job in June right before a big vacation - I was so relaxed and so happy! It was amazing! Came home and after only a month we were pregnant! What a difference after over a year of trying and Clomid with baby #1! I'm in Southern California & looking forward to connecting with some other local moms : )
Hi ladies!! FTM living in Las Vegas with my fiancé. My EDD is 4-26-18 so as of right now I am currently 17 weeks 1 day with a baby girl! Back in January I had an Ectopic Pregnancy at 6 weeks and had to have an emergency surgery to remove my right tube. Was not expecting to get pregnant so soon after but I am very thankful for my baby girl and a healthy pregnancy so far! ♥️ So excited to get to know you ladies and go through this journey with y’all!
Im 32 pregnant for the first time and 20 weeks in. I cannot sleep without pain. I cant empty my bladder without leaning into my thighs. I havent had a bowel movement in 3 days. Smh Im miserable. Any tips are welcomed. Congrats fellow pregs.

Welcome and congrats! We haven’t had a weekly symptoms thread in a little while, but there are weekly randoms and weekly questions threads, as well as the weekly ticker change. All are great places to get to know others and enjoy the community.
Hey guys, I'm expecting #3 April 22nd. I have a DS who will be 5 the end of February and a DS who will be 1 on the 2nd of December. This pregnancy was 1000% prevented and a complete surprise, but we are finally coming around from the shock. We are finding out the sex on the 28, so excited for that.
Reaching out from Canada.. haven’t seen any Canadians on here yet.. so Hey everybody! I’m a FTM and that’s the only abbreviation you’re getting out of me because that sh*t just confuses the hell out of me. Pregnancy was a huge surprise to me and my husband as I had a copper IUD but I guess life had other plans for us! As of today I’m officially half way along and we found out we’re likely having a boy. We were a bit less than excited at first with the unplanned pregnancy but things are starting to feel a lot more real now and the excitement is building.. we already have a name picked out
I am 26 years old and a first time mom from New Hampshire. We just bought our first house and a month later we were surprised with two little pink lines. It’s a busy year for us but we are so excited for the future. We are having our gender ultrasound this Wednesday but won’t be opening the envelope until Saturday with our friends and family. We are beginning the adventure of researching daycare centers or in home day cares as we both work full time. Excited is an understatement but I am also nervous not knowing what to expect. I am hoping I get to feel baby move any day now. I am happy I stumbled across this board. Nice to have a community of mommies
Welcome! It will be easier for us to get to know you if you change your user names from ‘knottie....’ Also please read the ‘Read This First’ thread - lots of good information there. Congratulations and welcome!
I am super late to the game and I know a lot of you (including me) are past the 20 week mark! My name is Trish and I live in South East PA near Philly. I am a computer IT analyst for a healthcare company and I also used to work for Apple for 10 years as a technician too! My story is a little different because I only found out I was pregnant about 6 weeks ago and that was when I was about 16 weeks along! My estimated due date is April 1 (April Fool's Baby!) and I didn't know I was pregnant until Oct. 4th when my Fertility Doc told me to take a test and I was in disbelief after two failed embryo transfers. I am a STM to my first baby boy (22 months) that my husband and I had through IVF. We tried to do it again this past year but after the two failed transfers we got pregnant on our own when we took a short break. For a long time I thought I was just gaining weight because I was told that getting pregnant on my own wasn't possible and it's been a real whirlwind and I can't tell you the feeling (I'm sure a lot of you know) of being able to get pregnant on your own after years of trying to get pregnant with no luck. I've been on cloud 9 ever since. I can't wait to get to know you all and thanks for sticking with me this long!
Hello, I'm due April 10th with my second baby. My little girl is 2.5 and is very excited to be a big sister! I'm so grateful to be expecting...I miscarried twins at 9 weeks in March and had two chemical pregnancies before conceiving in July.
Hi there:) I’m a first time mom from Ottawa, Canada. Our little one’s expected due date is April 29th and I’m 19 weeks today. We had a miscarriage at 11 weeks last February, and tried again for months afterwards... then we ended up getting a POSITIVE pregancy test on August 18th- which was the original due date from the first pregnancy! Talk about crazy awesome timing. Definitely a God moment. So we are so thrilled that this is a strong healthy pregnancy and can’t wait to find out gender this week!
Hello everyone! I'm a little late to the party as I have just discovered this app. I am 38 yo STM from SWFL. I am 21w5d. My EDD is April 17th. My DD just turned 15. My boyfriend has 3 DDs ages 11 and 10 yo twins. I have a tilted uterus So I was told early on that chances would be slim I would ever conceive. My DD was quite a surprise. You can only imagine our surprise when we discovered this little one was coming as I was also on BC. We know due to genetic testing that we are having a little boy!
Hello everyone! I’m also late to the game. I’m 27 and a FTM due April 1st with a little boy. I was active on the TTC and Infertility boards for awhile and it was only a dream to ever be able to join my birth month board so I’m very happy to be here - although I’m not too good at staying active...but I’m going to try! We tried for 2 years and went to a fertility clinic for 8 months, 5 rounds of Femara and our next month was going to be IUI and then we got pregnant! So far everything has been perfect, I really feel so blessed and fortunate to be here. I’m an RN in the NICU and am finding night shifts really hard lately, but otherwise I haven’t really had any symptoms at all. I wondered if I was even pregnant until I felt him move in the last few weeks

Congrats and welcome @vintageandrea90! From your intro I see we have a ton in common! Also 27yo FTM with a boy due April 1st. And a nightshift NICU nurse. Totally agree long nightshifts are so much harder now!

Woah - weird! So many similarities! Are you in Canada too? lol. Part of me is tempted to ask for a note from my midwife to get off nights but part of me feels bad doing that.

Hello everyone. I'm a bit late to the game, but it's my second go round, so I have A LOT less time than I did my first pregnancy to focus on my pregnancy, if you know what I mean. I have a 19 month old son, a 16 year old stepdaughter, and I am expecting another little girl on April 11th.
Hello! FTM and I’m due April 20th, with a little boy! I’m active duty military, my SO and I are stationed in Illinois but I’m originally from MD. I hope to get to know some of y’all because I don’t have many friends where I’m stationed! I’m super nervous and excited for this little bundle of joy and so happy I can connect with y’all and the sweet little April babies
