@kalawa I already love Kraft dinner, so I'm probably lucky that I don't know what the Canada version tastes like because I'd have to move. Well, now that I think of it, that brings a lot of pros... @staciefacie my ass gets pregnant, too. Last time I just bought a few bottoms that were comfortable in the first tri and part of second because I knew they'd be comfortable after baby arrives, too, even if my derriere outgrows them for the third tri. @scotiagirl my mom and MIL are both dietitians, and my DH has a 4-year degree in nutrition science, so I've been living with the "right" information all my life, but your'e right! It doesn't mean I do it all the time... Way to go on persuading the doc to benefit the patient!! And your assessment of persuading a 2-y-o is spot on. My daughter may be a lawyer some day.
@LiveNLove44 that's a lot of Dietitians/Nutrition info to be around!! I love what I do but mostly the working with a team (RN/MD/Physio) to help patients with chronic diseases part. When I'm surrounded by Dietitans it can even be too much for me! Lol to the lawyer part - my DH and I have definitely envisioned that as a career option for our daughter!
@vflux33 How did your u/s go?? It's crazy the people that will come up to you and just rub on you without asking. And ask rude questions like how much weight have you gained? It makes me want to fire back and ask the same questions. And grab all over them and see if they feel violated. I even explained to my mom that even though I'm pregnant it's still MY BODY and no one has the right to just come up to me and touch me. Her response was always the same. "I'm the grandma and that's my baby" ....EYEROLL
@rasco12 Well I'm going to gain a TON of weight because my u/s went great and I just found out I'm having twins! I'm 5 feet tall so I'm going to be very obviously pregnant a bit earlier than planned... and so more time for ppl to assault my belly unannounced. Someone needs to make a maternity shirt that says "don't touch me"!
