Pronouncing Elon for a boy

ok, is this obviously pronounced EE Lun? I saw it in an article for names and we love Elend from a book we read, buy I think too many people will mispronounce it, so this is possibly a contender.

I was thinking EE-lawn which is how I pronounce the college named Elon.

I would pronounce it like "ee-lon". Elon Musk is the person that comes to mind and I think people would be familiar that pronunciation because of him.

This! Elon Musk was who I first thought of. Definitely recognizeable and a pretty cool person if you haven't already looked him up.

+1 for the Elon Musk association. Most people who follow the news would probably say E-lawn because of that (myself included).
