I need to grocery shop, clean, do laundry, and do my assignments for school. So obv I'm doing none of the above because I'm stuck in a panic/procrastination loop. Woohoo!
@kbamomma33 - That is the most random gif ever and is the perfect way to start the randoms thread!
The next three weeks at work are going to suck because of vacations. It's stupidly hot here this week and I'm hoping our A/C makes it. It's a little older and it went out once last year. Sleeping during the day is hard enough without the house being hot.

I've finally composed myself enough to respond to the actual question...
MH is on vaca this week (galavanting read: drinking with friends on a house boat in KY, so jealous). So naturally I've done none of the mundane things that have to get done like laundry, cooking, yard work, blah blah blah. And instead just hung out with a bunch of friends this weekend and said eff it
I just finished a "transplant surgery" on our blood analyzer (removed and replaced a tank that we were having issues with) and now we're back up and running. So I say win for my day! My boss hates working on this particular analyzer, but it was a lot easier than expected. Booya baby!

@kbamomma33 that sounds like an amazing breakfast.
No one ever wants the little kid groups (K/1) at camp, so I bit the bullet and took them this year. Holy crap, my summer is way chiller than when I have the big kids. They're better behaved than the 4th and 5th grade, and we're doing such cute projects (we just finished drawing on our homemade papyrus).
Also, DH is officially coming home in August! I'm so excited to have him home, because I love him etc etc, but also because I won't have to do dishes or wake up early to walk the dog!

@Avrilmai We're trying to decide whether to do food that is more punny (chicken a la kingsmoot, eunuch's meatballs, etc) or if we should go all out and do actual food that's been on or is inspired by the book/show. There's a blog/cookbook dedicated to all those recipes here. Any preference?
You've totally got time to squeeze in a rewatch. I've rewatched the first four seasons at least 5 times (made MH watch and rewatch them), and the last two I've seen three times. It really helps to get a super good grasp of all the intricate storylines and be that supernerd that everyone asks their questions to.
@doxiemoxie212 - I'm with you on the panic/procrastination loop! There's so much stuff I need to do that I'm paralyzed by it.
@jsnakehole - YAY for your H coming home! That's so awesome.
I'm off work today (surprising given the amount of work things I've been asked to do so far today) and this is like, the ONE day this month that I will have time to do any serious cleaning. My house is a complete train wreck. So far I have accomplished drinking some coffee, brushing my teeth, and hate-cuddling the cat.
It's a hate-cuddle because he's been following me around the house to stare at me disapprovingly, and he just angrily sat in my lap. It would be foolish to get up now.
Oh man guys, I just created an infographic for my menstrual cycle (last month's) because I didn't read the assignment early enough (whoops), and didn't realize I was supposed to track data for a week, so my only option was to use my FF data! Woohoo! Took me like an hour to do once I figured out how I wanted to visualize everything. (Image below in spoiler)
@looeeze that sounds like so much fun! I'm ashamed I've never watched GOT and it's so my type of show. I'm going to have to binge watch it in the winter when I have snow days stuck in the house.
Not drinking but definitely watching, dh & I do every year a little sad Santon is out so soon, but Sanchez rocked that round!

@msmeeseeks I'm annoyed that the announcers keep saying the Blackmon is playing "with the big boys." Like... he's a major league baseball player. He IS a big boy, you know? The flyover states don't get any love in baseball. Like the Brewers are on fire this year but you'd never know it from watching ESPN or MLB Network. And Nolan Arenado is the best player in the league, that dude consistently makes the most incredible plays, and no one even knows his name. I'm so jealous that @rachelg777 is there tonight and tomorrow!!
Brew Crew is rocking it this year! The last 1/2 of yesterday's game against the Yankees seriously gave me heart palpatations. I was screaming at the radio every ballwalk they threw Lol

@looeeze@lurvleybunchococonuts The Brewers are doing well???? o.O #milwaukeenativefail I used to watch a lot of games when we had cable, because I have the summers off (teacher) and like having the tv on even if I'm not watching it. I really followed them the year they went to the playoffs somewhat recently. I'll have to convince DH we need go to a game.

@becausescience They went to playoffs in 2011 so I guess that's recent But yeah they have been leading the division for quite a while. Cubbies are like 5 or 6 games back, I think. We went to two games over the 4th of July weekend and it was like the team was fun again, which I haven't really felt since Nyjer Morgan was around. You should definitely go! I like those $6 Bernie's Bleachers tickets, it's a great view of the field (but not so much of the scoreboard if you like that).
We're also going to the Game of Thrones theme night at Miller Park in August, which I bought tickets for as soon as I got the email. Huge mesh of looeeze's interests there!
I am not watching baseball, but I am drinking. I discovered grapefruit rum.
I wanted to rewatch GOT, but I can't find the password for my parent's tv provider to make the hBO app work, and I only remember when it is either really late or am too busy to call. I am reading the last book though and about halfway through.
@becausescience - I bet your Cubs friends were obnoxious! I was legit happy for them, because I kind of have a thing for teams that are historically terrible. Can't relate though, since I'm a life-long Yankees fan.
@becausescience Yeah watching Prince Field and T-Plush beastmode that season was just so much fun.
Braun soured a lot of fans with his pee pee antics but tbh he's not the most charismatic guy. I like players who are fun to watch because they're having fun. This year's team does that. And Thames is a powerhouse.

We've got legit GoT wine and GoT beer already. I'm making some dragon-egg cookies. We're watching it outside on a giant screen. I'm so pumped.
I'd love to hear about/see what recipes you're making.
I'm currently on a fools quest to try to rewatch the series before Sunday. I'm halfway through season 3. So that leaves me w/about 35 hrs to watch...
