@charlestonchew Yep, I do the same thing. And if I feel like they are too far back at a red light, I will get right up on their ass!
Keeping with the traffic theme, my FFFC is that sometimes I will get angry when other drivers are being assholes but I sometimes find myself doing the same behaviors that I get angry at them for.

@lulu1180 My H does that! he gets especially angry at pedestrians in the street but then he walks in the street ALL. THE. TIME. Can you tell I find it irritating?
I'll come back when I can think of a confession of my own rather than ratting out my H.
My FFFC is that all this week I have been giving little pep talks to my hypothetically fertilized egg, telling it to get cozy in my uterus and stay awhile. I'll let you know if it works. Then we can add it to the list of drinking lemon water, noodling, and "relaxing."

@becausescience@fishsticks-n-custard I mostly do it when someone is driving right around the speed limit in the passing lane to try to get them to either speed up (if they can't move over immediately) or move over and out of my way. If I'm not in the passing lane, I'll just go around them as soon as I can and don't angrytailgate

@becausescience@lulu1180 I used to ride people all the time. Until one time when that person brake checked me and I almost ran into them. Lesson learned!! I will get up close to people if they're in the passing lane but I usually flash them my brights toblet them know it's time to move over.
I always put my lost hair on the shower wall to 'help' prevent it going down the drain when I shower. I always plan on cleaning it up once I get out but I never do and DH always cleans it up. He once told me it looked like Chewbacca came over to shower.
I didn't get a chance to take my OPK at home so I brought it to work with me, which leads to two confessions: 1. I used the last plastic cup from the break room to take the test. And already someone is pissed about there not being any. 2. *TW* I threw it away in the trash, not thinking about it. Now my nurses are gossiping about who is pregnant since there is "a positive pregnancy test in the trash!" (Faint LH line). And I am not correcting them because the conversation is too entertaining. (I promise I'll set them straight later).

@charlestonchew What is your definition of "significantly slow"? Because I regularly speed 7mph (more on freeway) over and still get angrytailgated.
5+ under the speed limit. There is only one road I get mad at people going the speed limit and that's cause I think they chose too slow of a speed limit on that road. Otherwise I'm actually not a speed demon, just please go at least the limit. On the freeway I just go around people.
@mispanda I do that, too but in my case it rarely gets cleaned by anyone... (I'm not saying I don't clean my bathroom, we just don't clean the hair off the wall unless we're actually cleaning the bathroom.)
@lulu1180@Redpuma119 People going slow in the fast lane and not moving over so I can get by makes me ragey. Really, people not knowing the rules of the road in general drives me crazy.

Maybe this is totally weird, but I usually don't get mad at other drivers. I try to remember that there is an actual person in the other car and that maybe they are having a shitty day, or are otherwise pre-occupied, so I just give them a pass. DH will be cussing and riding someone's ass and I'm like, "What if their mom or friend or something just died and they are having a terrible day? Or they are a new parent and are terrified of driving with their new kid in the car? Or what if they are an old and tired war veteran?" Then he just eye rolls me hard.
I'm going balls out with my confession today. My FFFC is that I'm generally skeptical and feel like I have a pretty well calibrated bullshit radar. There are several posters on TTGP, some semi-regular some not, that I've got big time catfishing suspicions about. I'm not going to say who because I'm not trying to start shit. FWIW, If I talk to you, chances are that I don't think you are a catfish.
If you're passing people and don't have room to move over, I'll hang back but once you have enough room to move over and let me pass before you get back over, I'll start furiously flashing my lights at you.

But what if there's no passing lane?! Most of my commute is 2-lane, double yellow. About half with a speed limit of 20-25. The max speed limit is 40 for just the last little stretch. It takes 15 minutes to drive 6 miles. There are people who will drive five under through the 20-25 sections. Which is a huge percentage. I tailgate the shit out of them and if they don't wake up then I honk. Especially at the ones who will stop at these two intersections where we everyone else has a stop sign but us. I don't care if you're lost or just cruising through this quaint town. Figure out where you're going, then drive or park your car and stroll through.
@fishsticks-n-custard No!!! You can't tell them! You have to join in on the gossip and the watch for who starts puking and getting a bump!

I don't know which part makes me more stressed out: the prospect of catfishes on here, including people I like, or the one where I could be on the suspect list. FFFC: When I had to get that MRI and I was all freaked out that it would show a tumor or something else serious, besides death, miserable treatment, etc. I was also so worried that my internet friends would think I was a catfish playing some really twisted long game.
Me: 34 DH: 38 Married: June 2011 TTC since Feb 2016 BFP#1: 7/7/16 MMC: 8/16/16 BFP#2: 5/8/17 - CP BFP#3: 6/27/17 EDD: 3/10/18
@lulu1180 this reminds me, did anyone ever go look to see if we could confirm whether the suspected catfish was a catfish? I forgot all about that until now. @haylsbayls brought up that suspicion, right? Ugh. I need a better memory.
@becausescience - DH and I also have deep conversations with our cat. However, we never actually speak for him, but we respond as though we have heard him say something. And we assign great meaning to his meows. He's very chatty.
About driving - I live in a city that's pretty well-known for shitty traffic. It's kind of understood that if traffic is moving, everyone is expected to drive like 20 mph over the limit on the interstates. People who don't live here are almost always driving in the right-most lane looking terrified because there are 8 lanes of traffic whizzing by them. And then they cause problems because they don't know it's a trap to drive in that lane because it's usually an exit only lane. It's not often a big problem though. Our "rush hour" is, like, 4 hours long, and I routinely drive home from work going 12 mph (not a joke, that is the average speed!) on the interstate.
@mispanda - I immediately had to get up and remove all the hair on my shower wall after reading your confession! I'm guilty of that too.
My FFFC: when I was young (maybe 10?) I would have physical reasons to birthing scenes in movies. I could feel the blood pumping down there, and maybe I was turned on. Why did my mom watch so many movies and TV shows with damn birthing scenes?
Me: 30 | DH: 31 Met: August 2006 Married: July 2012 TTC #1 since June 2016
You guys! I was not trying to open up a can of worms with my FFFC! It's not like I have this long, comprehensive list of people that I think are catfishing. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. There are just a few specific behaviors that I tend to side eye a little bit. I'm not sending any PMs or giving specifics. I value the regular posters here, as well as a lot of the cool newbs. I'm not trying to stress anyone out. This is a great community of women who are generally really awesome about giving and receiving real, relevant support to each other. That's cool and important and I'm not trying to propagate a shitload suspicion here.
