2) How are you feeling? The pregnant version of normal.
3) Any appointments this week? Next week.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm sure I have something to contribute here but my sleepy brain is not forthcoming.
5) GTKY: Were you a trouble maker or a rule follower as a child? I was definitely more of a people pleaser. But at times that just meant being extra sneaky.
2) How are you feeling? My neck is cramping up and getting really tight from sleeping on my side. I think I need a thicker pillow.
3) Any appointments this week? AS next week!
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I am very tired and I have the house to myself tonight, so I can eat whatever I want and watch Netflix until I'm ready to sleep. Yay!
5) GTKY: Were you a trouble maker or a rule follower as a child? I was a trouble maker as a little kid. As a teenager I was a polite and obedient people pleaser, but if my mom knew some of the things I got away with doing without her finding out, she'd be mortified.
2) How are you feeling? had an awful 30 hour stomach bug where I couldn't keep anything down, including water for the first half of it. Definitely scarier when pregnant but luckily I'm feeling better now (besides still being tired).
3) Any appointments this week? nope
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm already starting to feel big, a little scary that I still have most of my growing ahead of me, going to be an adventure.
5) GTKY: Were you a trouble maker or a rule follower as a child? definitely a rule follower although I had a bit of rebellion in my 20s when I backpacked in not always the safest places by myself for 5 months.
@ames011 I'm glad you're feeling better. Stomach bugs suck major a$$ when you're not pregnant so I could just imagine how aweful it is when you are.
1) How far along are you?
21 weeks
2) How are you feeling?
I'm finally feeling normal and can get up and do things without worrying about my back hurting or nips hurting.
3) Any appointments this week?
I had the followup to my A/S on Tuesday. The doctor couldn't see me last week as he was on vacation so I went to the hospital for the A/S and followed up with him on Tuesday. I also had my regular ob appointment on Wednesday. I'm ok with not seeing another doctor for 4 more weeks now.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I can finally feel the baby kick every day now. I was able to feel her kick before but it was sporadic. She's definitely kicking harder which makes me feel a lot better.
5) GTKY: Were you a trouble maker or a rule follower as a child? I was, for the most part, a good kid. I did learn to forge my parents signatures (pretty well if I say so) in the second grade as I didn't do my homework like I should have but other than that, I was a rule follower.
3) Any appointments this week? yesterday! The midwives decided to interpret my blood test in front of me. You know, the one that tells you if your baby is high or low risk for any abnormalities. That was fun. Low risk though!
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? really excited to park my butt at a pool all weekend.
5) GTKY: Were you a trouble maker or a rule follower as a child? painfully obedient except for the summer after 3rd grade. I didn't quite understand the concept of a porch being private property and would casually take things from our neighbors in my apartment complex. What did I do with these things, you ask? Brought them up to the tree my best friend and I used as a "club house". That's right. All of my neighbors things were carefully hung and placed in the branches of a large oak tree. Would have got away with it too if it wasn't for my meddling father!
1) How far along are you? 22 weeks (+1 since I'm a day late)
2) How are you feeling? been feeling a lot better lately other than my back hurting often and I keep randomly getting really bad leg cramps, anybody else have this problem?
3) Any appointments this week? no
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I woke up in the middle of the night crying from a really bad leg cramp i couldn't get to go away. BF woke up with me and helped me stretch my leg out and get it to go away. LO was moving around like crazy after that so I put BFs hand on my belly and baby actually kicked him this time. Normally baby calms right down and hasn't really let BF feel him/ her yet
5) GTKY: Were you a trouble maker or a rule follower as a child? i was definitely the rule follower/ good kid
@perfectypo good luck at your AS! Are you planning on finding out the gender?
Ok, I slipped doing down a steep hill while holding my 18mo old on Wednesday and landed on my tailbone. Serious pain Wednesday night, much better yesterday, and while bruised, also much better today.
3) Any appointments this week?
None!
4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
21 weeks needs to get here so I can go to my ultrasound! This kiddo hasn't moved as much (or at all) like her brothers and I'm paranoid and really want to see her.
5) GTKY: Were you a trouble maker or a rule follower as a child? 50-50. I was good out of the house, and I was my parents problem child.
@mparm91 I haven't had the leg cramps so far with this one but they hit me hard with my first. I would wake up crying at night too. So sorry!
@ames011 Ugh that stomach bug sounds awful. Glad you're better!
@Perfectypo and @mparm91 I loved being Team Green with my first and wanted to again. My husband didn't want to wait so we compromised by finding out, but pretending we didn't so we still get a lot of the Team Green benefits
We found out but didn't tell anyone with our two boys. Everyone got so mad for the first that I couldn't help myself and did it for the second too. This time around it's getting a little old how seriously angry everyone got about it, so we went ahead and tell anyone who asks that it is a girl, but with the condition that they don't buy all the frilly girl stuff that I hate. I won't put her in it, don't waste your money.
2) How are you feeling? Fine aside from some low cramping every so often. I also feel like I'm already developing a waddle.
3) Any appointments this week? Had one Monday and we just got back from our AS! I desperately wanted to peek but I kept it together and stayed green.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I feel like my house smells like carpet cleaner and we are having people over. But I also feel like I am probably the only one that smells it. I can't stand the smell of it.
5) GTKY: Were you a trouble maker or a rule follower as a child? Generally a rule follower but I was also the baby and the only girl so I got away with a lot.
2. Ok, still tired and I have to watch what i eat / eat often enough or else I feel nauseous. Yesterday I started feeling tenderness/pressure on my c-scar area. Checked with a few friends and they said it's normal. I will def discuss with my doc next time though.
3. A/S on Monday with the MFM. We already know it's a boy but excited to see him again! Also nervous.
4. Happy to be feeling the babe move more consistently. Excited to take DD to the fireworks for the first time next week!
5. I was mostly a rule follower as a kid. Still am.
Neither of us had a prefrence, and we love the idea of a surprise at the end of labor. Also, I *HATE* disney themed clothes (this may be a UO) and love gender neutral clothes, so this way no one will try and give me any garish outfits, FX. We also didn't want to share names, so we have told everyone we aren't telling names until baby is born. That way no one can tell us they hate it. But that is just us.
@ooodalollly great idea finding out but pretending to be team green, that is brilliant!
@ariasbabyblog people can be so dumb! Why on earth get angry, it's YOUR choice to tell or not. But I can so see how that would get really old fast. Good idea to put conditions on telling them.
@mparm91 no one has gotten mad at is yet, but we also haven't been for our AS. So we will see.
