Dec 1 -- Last year I was frantically trying to accomplish a few last things--close or hand off open projects, mediate a bullshit personal dispute in my workgroup, and train additional staff for coverage--before leaving for Germany for the rest of year. (Hah. Sounds pretty similar to what I'll be doing in the run up to this December, but with a longer away time and no Christmas markets or Glühwein.)
Dec 13 - We had just moved into our new house and I was trying to get some cute Xmas pics with DS before I put the tree up in prep for the 6 people who were coming to stay with us over the holidays
