THREE more Facebook pregnancy announcements!!!!!!! I'll only be following a handful of people if this keeps up. And I just found out one of the girls at work I confided in the most after my mc is pregnant and due in December. Happy for her, because she has PCOS and was told it would be hard for her to conceive, but bummed because I should be due in November. At least I won't have to be here to watch her get all fat and happy pregnant style.
I'm sorry @tlq0726. The only other women in my whole department that is of reproductive age just announced that she is pregnant and her office is right next door and she's part of my work team. I'm pretty sure we started trying at the same time and now she has one kid and another on the way.
My WTF Wednesday...it's my birthday and I'm working for the first time in like 15 years. The ladies got me some nice treats but it just doesn't feel like my birthday since I'm usually off of work.
Happy birthday @MooFish2364 working on your birthday sucks for sure but hopefully you can kick back with your feet up and a nice glass of wine this evening.
I have a few wtf's today. There's a group of us (4 couples) trying to plan a weekend getaway and after we have everything sorted and finally found accommodation to suit 8, one of the couples backs out cause they said the place is too expensive. So instead they will just sleep in their van in the driveway (and likely try to use our bathroom, kitchen, etc for free). Wtf, we aren't 18 anymore. We are all between 35 and 40. And it's not that expensive of a place. $120 per couple per night. Not unreasonable.
And I had a chiro appt this morning. My last one was back in March about 3 hours before I miscarried. I didn't think it would effect me so much but I just laid on the table bawling my eyes out, snot everywhere. Just when you think you're doing Ok, bam, something hits you and you're a blubbering mess.
@40momma this process is a bitch and a half. Even though it stinks, it's ok to cry. I feel so much better after I have my moments. It does stink when it is unexpected. I also agree that $120/couple /night isn't too bad.

@40momma. It's ok to have those moments. I had one the other day. I was just feeling blah all day and then DH says what's wrong with you. You don t seem like yourself and I said I'm just having a bad day nothing happened it's just a bad day and then I started crying. He doesn't get the bad days. He wants me to tell him something happened and nothing has to
40momma Ugh, wtf to that couple as well. And sorry about the tearing up... you're right, random things just hit you and it sucks!

Thanks for the birthday wishes ladies. DH and I went out to a nice local place, I had a great Margarita, and my nutribullet blender came which was my pressie from DH. More celebrating with family this weekend.
I also hate the "gods plan" responses. I know it's just another case where people don't know what to say, but it still sucks. I also hate it when pregnant people say "oh we're just so blessed" as if to say they are somehow more deserving or special than ladies who will never give birth to a child. Just grates on me.
Happy late birthday @MooFish2364 but sorry you had to work.
I know it's Friday, but wtf weather. I got in my car after work and the thermometer on the dash said 117!! Really it was only 105 but still! Guess it's time to hop in the kiddie pool with ds!
@pumpkin0913 I'm flying to CA Tuesday and cant wait! Though LA is predicted to be lower temp then Nor Cal. It's in the high 80s in Basel now- but its super humid and people don't believe in Airconditioning here, I CANT WAIT for summer weather where there is no humidity- I REALLY miss that about CA.
@jchpg what no air conditioning!? It's a must here. 2 years ago when we first came home from the hospital after having ds, our ac went out, it was somewhere above 100 degrees. DH called around to a bunch of repair companies saying "We have a newborn, we need this fixed now!" Lol someone took pity on us and came right over
