Re: Random Chats (6.12.17)

  • @natleilynn. I'm having a girl!

    ETA: I just looked it up and it might be a second pregnancy thing since everything has already stretched already they sit lower.
    Sadness. There's no hope for my abdominal muscles. I popped early and this kiddo has sat low 80% of the time. I should have stuck tonlast years New Years resolutions and gotten into shape :(

    I feel like baby girl is sitting low too and i'm a FTM. My mom loves to keep telling me i look like I'm carrying low. I always feel kicks in my lower abdomen. Maybe I appear to look low because my placenta is low? I also think it might have to do with the fact that I had a few extra lbs. prior to pregnancy... :( hmph
  • @beezeemarie I have a super long torso too, so maybe that is also a contributing factor.

    @purplestarz right! I always think they're like muscle spasms and then i'm like shoot that's probably her kicking!
  • @curlyQ284 so, I used to work at a fishery in Alaska, and I had an ongoing feud with the birds. Every time I would walk to my campsite, they would aim for me. I don't know what I did to them but I was literally on their shit list.
    That sounds like a pretty awesome job though.

    @jessafishy @beezeemarie I don't have a long anything lol
    Me neither!
  • I'm a FTM, having a girl, and everyone swears to me up and down that I am carrying low. I'd assume it's true because my OB always aims doppler and ultrasound a bit too high and has to adjust. That, and the kicks are always right to the bladder.

    @beezeemarie I'd like to say that I'm curious to feel that, but you make it sound bad.

  • @VLillyV it's just really weird, because you feel it on the inside of your body rather than the outside, if that makes sense. It happened a lot with DD towards the end, but it's happened a few time recently with this LO. Usually not painful, just weird and uncomfortable.

  • My girls were both pretty high. This little guy is so low. Like the Doppler gets his HB right at the top of my lower shaved (hair?) line. And he was breech at my US. I know they turn constantly, but he'll flip and flop , which I feel, but he settles breech and kicks my cervix constantly. Very rarely so I feel kicks above my belly button.  Sometimes I feel it to the sides but still below my belly button. Hoping he doesn't get too comfortable like that. This momma does not want to go through the pain of baby turning at the hospital.

  • @roo_baby Me too! It gives me more reason to be still and connect. First time round I was such a day dreamer while pregnant and kept a few pages of journal writing. I haven't done any of that this time round until now with the kicks.
