Girl name

We are having trouble naming our girl. All names are family names and we are for sure having June in the name. I have been going back and forth on June as a first or June as middle name. The only person I've discussed names with told me they hated June as a first name because the baby will be born in October which I didn't understand but it's making me second guess my decisions. Personally I think it'd be weird to be born in June and named June. Her name will for sure be one of the following. I appreciate your thoughts and opinions.

ETA last name starts with S. If you pick Vivian June how do you feel about VJS as initials?

Vivian June is my favorite.

June as a first name is nice though too and I agree it's weird if born in June but otherwise it's a solid choice

My best friend is named Elizabeth June. She was born in December. I don't think it's weird at all.

I don't think its weird either. I think she was saying June would be weird as a first name unless born in June. Which, I think the opposite. If you were born in June and first name was June THAT would be weird to me.

Voted Vivian June. Love it! Love June Elizabeth as well. I think it would be odd to have a June born in June. No problem with a June born in October.

I think it would be weirder to have a June in June. I really like June as a first name. It's refreshing since I never hear it. Especially because Vivian seems to be growing in popularity. I don't think you can go wrong though. All of your options are lovely.

I'm the odd one out I think. Month names don't work for me at all bc I think it's weird if the baby is born in the month or weird if they aren't. As a middle name they don't bother me, though.

The initials are fine IMO, but if they bother you, why not Elizabeth June?

I voted June Vivian. I like June as a fn, and certainly don't think it's weird if she isn't born in June. I like Vivian June too. You can't go wrong either way.

I voted Vivian June because I am in the camp that it is weird to use a month/season/day name if that isn't when they were born.

I'm with you (OP) in thinking that it is silly to name a baby for the month they are born. Totally cool any other month!!

Also, I don't think of June as a month name particularly. It's not like you are naming the kid October.

I would totally use June as a first name if you want to. It's pretty and underused, and I agree that I would avoid it with a June birthday, not pick it because of that! A baby June born in October is great. I like all your middle name choices, but I voted for June Elizabeth.

My dad is named August and he was born in December. He was named after his grandfathers. I think most months used as names are weird, but I like June.
