hey there are there any other D17 moms experiencing bleeding? Were you given a diagnosis? How are you coping?

my fingers are crossed that we will all get through this

I did starting week 5 and ended mid week 6; they had found that my progesterone was low and put me on supplements but fell short of saying that was the reason.  I do know we have a few moms on here who had SCH as the cause of their bleeding so they may chime in.  I hope it stops for you soon. Have you seen the doc yet about it?

Thanks @Marley629 it just started yesterday and I went to my REI today who said I had a bleed behind the placenta.. The fetus had a nice strong heart beat but she recommended bed rest... I don't know how that will work as I have to work this week plus almost all weekend.. My husband's like no problem at all just skip work lol I'm like

While I didn't (and haven't) experienced bleeding, I had a rather large SCH with DS. I was put on pelvic rest (not bed rest, but no sex, no working out, overall just take it easy). It absorbed itself thankfully. I have one now as well so same instructions. SCH and also bleeding is fairly common so while I personally know it's easier said than done, don't worry too much and just take it easy!! Do you have a follow up ultrasound scheduled to monitor the bleed?

This weekend I was diagnosed with SCH. I suddenly just gushed blood for about 3 hours and then just a little spotting only evident when I wipe since Saturday night. I was told to take 2 days rest and after that to just take it easy, no heavy lifting, no sex, rest often, and drink tons of water. When I spoke to one of the doctors at my office they told me that had my placenta attached higher up I would have probably bled a little at a time but as it has attached right by the cervix I had a lot of blood all at once. He told me that these almost always heal up with very little trouble and not to worry. Both try doctor and the ER doctor were very clear that rest and a ton of water were the key.

I had a SCH around 6w3d with a big gush of blood and a clot, but no sustained bleeding past 15 or so min. It was terrifying but the Dr. got me in within a few hours and was able to see the baby and a heartbeat. He said he could see the bleed and that it was at the bottom of my uterus and probably wouldn't affect the pregnancy. I'm now at 9w1d and so far I haven't had any more bleeding. Dr. put me on pelvic rest (no heavy lifting, exercise or sex) for a couple of weeks after and now I'm just on 'take it easy/no heavy exercise'. The crazy thing is that it happened as I was walking into the grocery store during a lunch break from work. It was crazy to be in public with blood running down my legs, but at least it wasn't at work...

I had a sch with DS but luckily absorbed that one, we found it at 12 weeks and it had gone away by 16. With LO this time I started bleeding at 7 weeks (terrifying)I found out it was another sch and I bled it over over the course of the next week but it's very common for some women to bleed with them into their second trimester. Both times I was put on pelvic rest. I am also a high risk mama so I have to take it easier anyways. Take it easy mama!

I've had droplets of bright red blood a couple of times after orgasms, followed by very minimal brown spotting for a couple of days. This was around weeks 10-11. Baby is fine, though.

I had a huge gush at week 8 haven't seen anything since but they said I had a sch

After my bleed in May everything was fine for a while and then last Wednesday I had another huge gush but this time super dark blood. Went to the ER to make sure baby was fine and I only bled for a little while but then I started spotting on Sunday and am still spotting now. I was sent to the high risk specialist and he basically said that this is just a thing that happens to some women and that we are going to keep an eye on it but it will probably be just fine. It is so weird though because every day I wake up and I've started bleeding while I was sleeping and it tapers off as the day goes on and I'm usually not bleeding by the time I go to bed. The doctor said this is totally normal because the blood pools while I'm laying down and drains through the day till it is gone and then starts over. Even at its worst it is just barely enough that I wear a panty liner and it is all dark brown old blood. Baby is safe and sound (I just started feeling him move around in there which is soooo weird!) and currently their only concern is making sure I don't get too anemic if this lasts for a while. It is scary and stressful but I have wonderful doctors at both my regular office and at the hospital where the HR folks are and so much support.

I have a SCH but I haven't had any bleeding. They put me on pelvic rest. I had a follow up ultrasound a week ago and it showed that it has grown a tiny bit since my first appointment, but still no bleeding.

No spotting today!!!! Wicked migraine and pretty much all the throwing up but no spotting so I'm still calling it a win for the day.

Yes, I have a subchorionic hemhorrage that's 2.5cm so I have another ultrasound June 21 to make sure it's clearing up. I'm scared!  Started around week 7 I think and then after that about a few weeks of no bleeding and then period like bleeding. Then nothing. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow.
