No snark question: is there a minimum of time here required? For example, someone who has been trying 6+ but only been posting a few weeks? I didn't see anything in the rules for clear cut time frames.
We have thought about putting it in the OP a few times but we always sort of waffle on it. We care the most about how much time you have been contributing HERE. Even if you've been trying 6 months, if you've only been here a few weeks then we don't really know you enough to want to celebrate with you. I think when people have been consistently posting on this board for 2+ months then most of us know that person well enough to notice if they just disappeared.
@charlestonchew I'm wary of putting a clear cut timeframe on it because there are different degrees of participation and way too many combos of time TTC/time on TB to figure out where to draw the line. You could participate multiple times a day every day for a month and people would know you, or you could be a member for 6 months and jump in a couple of times a week and no one would know you at all. It's more about common sense. Are you (the royal "you," not you specifically) uncertain if you qualify but are really just posting because you want to AW your pregnancy and can't tell anyone IRL yet? Have you been contributing for a month and just happen to be a lucky 2/2er but interacting with a ton of people so we would know you're gone and care about your BFP?
Has it been longer than 13 days?
p.s. I think we need a new grad thread for this week, this one's been hijacked.

There's not really a "rule" about time frames, but it's really more about being a member of the community. Do people really know you and would others be surprised if you just ghosted? Usually people who have tried for 1-3 cycles don't really get a chance to build that friendship and connection within the community, especially if they only joined during a single cycle. There are people who join and throw themselves in from the get-go. There are others who lurk for months upon months. So it's not really about the time, but about the connection.
